03-06-2025 part 2: The Significance of Being Born Again: A Profound Transformation
The transformative significance of being "Born Again" is the central theme of our discussion in this podcast. Dr. David Spoon elucidates that this pivotal experience represents a profound spiritual rebirth, which is essential for accessing the Kingdom of God. Through an intricate examination of scripture, particularly the dialogue between Jesus and Nicodemus, we delve into the necessity of being reborn through both water and the Spirit, emphasizing the regeneration of one's spirit. This renewal is not merely a singular event, but rather an ongoing process that demands continual engagement with the Word of God, fostering spiritual growth and maturity. Ultimately, this episode serves as an invitation to reflect on personal faith and the enduring journey of transformation that accompanies a true relationship with Christ.
The essence of the discussion revolves around the concept of being ‘Born Again,’ as articulated in the Book of Colossians. Dr. Spoon delves into the theological implications of this transformative experience, emphasizing that it is not merely an event but an ongoing process of renewal and growth in the faith. He highlights that the Apostle Paul instructs believers to shed their old selves and embrace their new identities in Christ, which necessitates a commitment to honesty and authenticity in interpersonal relationships. This is illustrated through the biblical narrative of Ananias and Sapphira, who exemplify the dangers of insincerity. Dr. Spoon elucidates how being ‘Born Again’ signifies a spiritual rebirth, where the believer's spirit is rejuvenated by the Holy Spirit, thus enabling them to engage in a deeper communion with God through prayer and the study of Scripture. Furthermore, he underscores the importance of feeding this new spirit with the Word of God, as it is through the Scriptures that believers can truly understand their new nature and grow in their faith, reflecting the image of Christ more closely with each passing day.

And now for something completely different.
Speaker B:Here's what's coming up this hour on Today's Experience.
Speaker B:It's Expository Thursday.
Speaker B:Expository Thursday.
Speaker B:As we work together to know the letter better into the narrative of the Book of Colossians, we travel to understand what things the Lord requires of us as we learn to apply God's timeless truths in our lives.
Speaker B:First, back in the Book of Colossians, we're picking it up in chapter three, starting with verse nine, where the apostle tells us, the people of God should not lie to one another.
Speaker B:Since you have taken off the old self with its practices and put on the new self, this is much more about being real with one another than anything else.
Speaker B:In the last 30 minutes we talked about Jesus being Alethea.
Speaker B:This is also us being called to be Aletheia, which is real, genuine, sincere, honest and truthful.
Speaker B:Being real is a key.
Speaker B:It makes one think of Ananias and Sapphira.
Speaker B:They weren't real.
Speaker B:That didn't work out very good for them.
Speaker B:Next, when it talks about putting off the old self, understanding the old self positionally is crucified, but practically the full eradication has not yet been declared.
Speaker B:When demonstrated, the full eradication of redemption takes place.
Speaker B:There won't be any more death.
Speaker B:If the full ratification had already taken place, death would be gone.
Speaker B:For every Christian, death is the last enemy to be put under the feet of Jesus.
Speaker B:He has positionally defeated death, and soon enough the access of his authority will be its complete demise and there will be no more death.
Speaker B:Finally, by using the phrase in Colossians 3 being renewed regarding the new nature, it's clear that there is an ongoing process that we are currently engaged with.
Speaker B:Our new man needs to be renewed.
Speaker B:The way the renewal comes is through the knowledge of the image of the Creator.
Speaker B:The knowledge of the image of God is in the Word of God.
Speaker B:And we need to be in the Word of God so we can feed the new man.
Speaker B:Because man does not live by bread alone, but every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Speaker C:David Spoon's life has been an experience.
Speaker C:While growing up in a Jewish family, he made a wrong turn towards God.
Speaker C:Then David Spoon found Jesus Christ and his life completely changed.
Speaker C:The more he studied the Gospel, the more he wanted to share his experiences with others.
Speaker C:After 35 years of ministry, David discovered a new path of service.
Speaker C:He joined KAAM and this radio program began.
Speaker C:You're about to hear the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker B:Welcome to the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker B:Local, national and heavenly talk.
Speaker B:Here's what else we're looking at during the show, lessons for surviving living and prevailing politics, entertainment and current events, personal revelations, spiritual observations.
Speaker B:My life's insanities annoy me so much more.
Speaker B:Now remember, it's not professional radio.
Speaker B:You and I'd be lucky if this was a couple of cans with a string.
Speaker B:It's just radio.
Speaker B:And we're asking you, how are you doing?
Speaker B:That's the big thing we do.
Speaker B:We know that some shows focus on politics.
Speaker B:We don't have any problem with that.
Speaker B:That's their bent.
Speaker B:That's where they're called to.
Speaker B:What we try to do is encourage people to draw closer to the Lord.
Speaker B:What we don't care about is your background.
Speaker B:By that, I mean this.
Speaker B:I was born and raised Jewish and I became a Christian.
Speaker B:I have a Baptist, Pentecostal and Charismatic ordination, a BA degree from a four square group.
Speaker B:I have a master's degree from a Pentecostal group, and I have a doctorate from a Baptist group.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Because it's all so much fun.
Speaker B:That's why.
Speaker B:And instead of getting uptight about it all, how about we all do this?
Speaker B:Let's get closer to Jesus.
Speaker B:There's a great idea.
Speaker B:Because tell me what you're going through in life cannot have a better solution by having more of Jesus in it.
Speaker B:Everything in life is better, period.
Speaker B:And when we're with him one on one and collectively, wow, it's going to be so great.
Speaker B:So we're just checking in and seeing how you doing, what's happening, how are things?
Speaker B:How can we pray for you?
Speaker B:How can we bless you?
Speaker B:Read a call or call in and you can ask questions.
Speaker B:I don't always have all the answers, but it's fun to hear how different people think and process.
Speaker B:Unfortunately, we do have hard breaks, so we have to kind of hit those every once in a while.
Speaker B:But we'll do our best to accommodate, as we often do.
Speaker B:So, brother, I encourage you to call back at some point and just be able to share.
Speaker B:We love it.
Speaker B:We're also asking you, look, if you want to reach out to us, you can send an email.
Speaker B:You don't even have to call.
Speaker B:Some people are like, I don't want to call.
Speaker B:All right, send an email.
Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B:Or you can call us.
Speaker B:Wait, you can call me?
Speaker B: -: Speaker B:770.
Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B:Talking to Jammin Jacob.
Speaker B:Is this just like the same feeling you get when you know your being appreciated?
Speaker B:That's nice.
Speaker B:Thank you, David.
Speaker A:Happy Thursday.
Speaker B:Happy Thursday to you, my friend.
Speaker B:So I just wanted to make sure everybody knew that we do have certain amount of breaks we have to teach and we do these breaks and they help me in a couple of different ways.
Speaker B:They give me a couple of seconds to breathe.
Speaker B:That's always a good thought.
Speaker B:And additionally, because we do a 90 minute show, we run commercials that promote things like ministry giving, because that's helpful, and different things that are just there to encourage and bless people.
Speaker B:So just be aware of that.
Speaker B:As we run through the show.
Speaker B:We're trying to help people move towards the Lord.
Speaker B:And one of the ways that we do that is we communicate.
Speaker B:When Paul wrote to the church at Colossae, he never met them and yet they had fellowship.
Speaker B:Huh.
Speaker B:How is that possible?
Speaker B:I guess you can have fellowship through different forms of communication.
Speaker B:If everybody's goal is to make sure that in all things, Jesus has the preeminence.
Speaker B:Oh, wait, that's what the Bible says.
Speaker B:Oh yeah, that's right.
Speaker B:So here we're just asking people, look, if you've got something you want to share, that's great.
Speaker B:If you've got a prayer request, let's pray.
Speaker B:There's multitudes of people that listen to the show and they are great prayers.
Speaker B:They believe in my theory.
Speaker B:I've had this goofy theory for a long time and just bear with me.
Speaker B:I know it's not perfect, but it does make a point.
Speaker B:It's simply this.
Speaker B:If I have 25 cents worth of faith and Jacob has 25 cents and you have 25 cents and 1,000 other people have 25 cents worth of faith, that's more faith combined than it is separately.
Speaker B:And without faith, it's impossible to please God.
Speaker B:So we petition in faith.
Speaker B:That's all.
Speaker B:So maybe you've got a prayer request, maybe you've got a praise report and you're just looking for an opportunity to share it.
Speaker B:Share it.
Speaker B:We love it.
Speaker B:Because when the Lord is doing things, first of all, when you share it, it reinforces it in your own life.
Speaker B:It blesses other Christians and it gives glory to the Lord.
Speaker B:Maybe you've got something you just gotta share.
Speaker B:Just a thought that's on your heart.
Speaker B:And mind just like I came across this, I just wanted to share.
Speaker B:It really meant something.
Speaker B:Maybe you got an answer to Bible trivia.
Speaker B:All right, we'll just ask this question should be pretty straightforward.
Speaker B:Is the book of Daniel in the Old Testament, the New Testament or neither?
Speaker B:Is the book of Daniel in the Old Testament the New Testament or neither?
Speaker B:If you think you know.
Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B:Additionally, you can send an email davidemustincrease.org that's davidemustincrease.org is the book of Daniel in the Old Testament the New Testament or neither?
Speaker B:That, my friends, is the question that's being asked.
Speaker B: -: Speaker B:We all got that.
Speaker B:Cool.
Speaker B:For those that are still trying to figure out the show, it's a cross between Steve Martin, Sean Hannity and Focus on the Family.
Speaker B:Somewhere in that range is what we tell people.
Speaker B:We do have somebody that is going to answer, I think, the trivia question before we get to them.
Speaker B:I remind you about being a buddy.
Speaker B:Whenever you hear somebody's voice or somebody is on the show and you have an opportunity, take them up as a prayer person, pray for them, consider them, petition the Lord on their behalf.
Speaker B:Because what a man sows, that shall he also reap.
Speaker B:And when you do that for others, others do that for you.
Speaker B:And the person in charge of that is God.
Speaker B:So there's not a lot of question as to whether that happens or not.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:We do have somebody ready to answer a trivia question.
Speaker B:Let's have them send on through.
Speaker B:Knock, knock.
Speaker B:This is David who am I talking.
Speaker D:Good afternoon, David.
Speaker D:It's J.D.
Speaker B:Hello, J.D.
Speaker B:how are ya?
Speaker B:Uh, oh, can you turn your radio down a little?
Speaker D:No, it's off.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker D:I'm driving and I'm probably getting some feedback or something.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:That's all right In a bad area.
Speaker D:Is it better now?
Speaker B:Yes, it's a little better now.
Speaker B:But I don't want you to take your eyes off the road.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker D:It's more fun if you do talk.
Speaker B:About driving by faith.
Speaker B:Yeah, don't do that.
Speaker B:That's great.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:My brother Let me set it up for you, and then you can launch it.
Speaker B:Here we go.
Speaker B:Is the book of Daniel in the Old Testament, the New Testament, or neither?
Speaker D:It's like what I'm feeling lately.
Speaker D:Old.
Speaker B:You're correct.
Speaker B:S.
Speaker B:Now, I don't want to say you're correct about feeling old.
Speaker B:It's just in the Old Testament, that's what I'm.
Speaker B:I'm not trying to call you old.
Speaker B:And besides, you're not old.
Speaker B:You're not old.
Speaker B:Wait, for a tree, you're not old.
Speaker D:Yeah, I mean, compared to Noah.
Speaker B:Exactly.
Speaker D:A spring chicken.
Speaker B:Yeah, exactly right.
Speaker B:Exactly right.
Speaker B:How you feeling today?
Speaker B:You feeling pretty good?
Speaker D:I got a phrase record.
Speaker B:Oh, man, I'm loving it.
Speaker B:Let's hear it.
Speaker D:So, as you know, I'm a real estate broker.
Speaker B:Yes, sir.
Speaker D:And I've been working with this gentleman who's a Navy vet.
Speaker D:He had 80% disability rating.
Speaker D:He just was raised to 100% disability rating.
Speaker D:What that means is he will get a chunk of money from the VA for the difference between the 80 and the 20% for I don't know how many past years, and he will now be able to buy a home on land and pay no property tax.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:That is cool.
Speaker B:That is cool.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker D:But wait, there's more.
Speaker D:Because he's over 30% disability rating, the Veterans Land Board can finance it for him for half a percent less than what normal is.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:Is he just super excited?
Speaker B:I mean, I know it's difficult position to be in, but is he super blessed and super excited?
Speaker B:The Lord has opened that door for him.
Speaker B:I mean, I just can imagine.
Speaker D:Oh, yeah.
Speaker B:So cool.
Speaker B:That's really awesome, brother.
Speaker B:That's a great thing, and it's a great thing to share.
Speaker B:And we're just.
Speaker B:You just let him know we're.
Speaker B:We're blessed, that he is blessed with it.
Speaker B:He might not know us, but you let him know we're blessed, that he got blessed by it.
Speaker D:You got it.
Speaker B:All right, my brother.
Speaker B:Excellent testimony.
Speaker B:Great job, by the way.
Speaker D:Thank you.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker D:Have a blessed one.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker D:Thanks, sir.
Speaker B:Bye.
Speaker B:Bye.
Speaker B:All right, great, Great phone call.
Speaker B:It's great to hear praise reports.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:Isn't that cool?
Speaker B:They're thinking, well, what about.
Speaker B:Hey, this is the thing when the Lord does something and we share it with one another.
Speaker B:I know it's really hard maybe for us to kind of wrap our hands around, but it encourages your faith because God is active and you're hearing about the activity of God, so you know, he's doing stuff.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So when you pray, have that little more faith, right?
Speaker B:What did Jesus say?
Speaker B:The faith, the size of a mustard seed, that's going to be a ton amount of it.
Speaker B:But it does have to be pure.
Speaker B:It does have to be real.
Speaker B:It does have to be genuine.
Speaker B:And when you have doubt with the faith, you're giving yourself two plus with a doubt and minus two plus with the faith and minus two with a doubt, which gives you zero.
Speaker B:So you gotta have more faith.
Speaker B:Get it?
Speaker B:That's kind of a goal in there.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:One of the things that we do on this show, which is very important to me, it's important to me because it's better for everybody else than I am.
Speaker B:And that's our DNA.
Speaker B:And I know people hear it all the time.
Speaker B:You get tired of hearing, oh, I'm gonna turn it off, or whatever, I don't care.
Speaker B:It's really important to understand that everything we do comes from this DNA process.
Speaker B:To me, it does.
Speaker B:And that's why I share it, so you can know where I'm coming from.
Speaker B:D stands for Draw closer to the Lord daily.
Speaker B:Every day that ends in Y.
Speaker B:You should be spending time with God now.
Speaker B:I do believe it should be in prayer.
Speaker B:I do believe it should be in the Word.
Speaker B:I do believe it's within the framework of fellowship.
Speaker B:When two or more are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Speaker B:I think all of those things are awesome.
Speaker B:But you have to draw closer to the Lord.
Speaker B:And one of the things that Jesus did is he separated himself, went apart by himself.
Speaker B:And there is very little in this life that is more powerful than that communion between you and the Lord.
Speaker B:I mean, when you're reading the Word, he's talking to you.
Speaker B:He's talking to you.
Speaker B:The word of God is a.
Speaker B:The very breath that went into Adam, that made him a living being is the same breath which.
Speaker B:2 Timothy 3:16, where it says, all scripture is God breathed.
Speaker B:That's the breath that's falling upon you when you read the Word.
Speaker B:That is so important.
Speaker B:And being in the presence of God in prayer, which Jesus made available through his redeeming work.
Speaker B:Look at Hebrews chapter 10, verse 19 through 22, where we can go behind the veil, we can go behind.
Speaker B:Into the very holy of holies, into the presence of God because of what Jesus did, anytime we want.
Speaker B:And we're not taking advantage of that.
Speaker B:Ouch.
Speaker B:And in his presence, by the way, in Psalm 16:7, is the fullness of joy.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:We need that.
Speaker B:D Draw closer to the Lord daily.
Speaker B:And never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker B:What do we say?
Speaker B:God created the universe.
Speaker B:He can write a book.
Speaker B:And so here it is.
Speaker B:You can't afford to be ashamed of Jesus.
Speaker B:The world has nothing to offer you.
Speaker B:They will try and shame till the end.
Speaker B:They will try and make you feel bad that you believe in Jesus.
Speaker B:Oh, you dumb people.
Speaker B:You believe in Jesus all you flat earthers.
Speaker B:Okay, well, you know what?
Speaker B:At the end, we'll see me as for me and my household.
Speaker B:We will serve the Lord.
Speaker B:Never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker B:Especially when Jesus said, if you're ashamed of me or my words, I'll be ashamed of you.
Speaker B:When I come in glory from the Father with the angels, like, ooh, that's Luke 9, 26.
Speaker B:So D draw closer to the Lord daily.
Speaker B:And never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker B:A Always be ready to serve.
Speaker B:We have got to be on guard.
Speaker B:I mean, the word ready is used multiple times in the New Testament.
Speaker B:Jesus used it as saying that we need to be watchful and ready.
Speaker B:We need to be aware.
Speaker B:We need to be in tune.
Speaker B:And how we do that is we do a little less focusing on me, me, me, me, me, me, me, my situation, my situation, my situation, my situation, and focus more on that which the Lord has brought around us.
Speaker B:What is it in the parable of the Good Samaritan, what is it?
Speaker B:How do you really distinguish that?
Speaker B:Well, one thing we know for sure is in the Samaritan's life, he ran into this man that was robbed and beaten, and that's who his neighbor is supposed to be.
Speaker B:In other words, the people that the Lord brings into our little world.
Speaker B:That's who we're supposed to be taking care of and loving.
Speaker B:People you've never heard of, never seen.
Speaker B:I'm talking about people you have an encounter with, just like the Good Samaritan did with the man who was robbed and beaten.
Speaker B:That's so important, right?
Speaker B:How important is that?
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:Critical.
Speaker B:All right, so that's our DNA.
Speaker B:De Draw closer to the Lord daily.
Speaker B:And never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker B:Hey, always be ready to serve.
Speaker B:We're gonna take our break.
Speaker B:I know we got somebody on the line.
Speaker B:We'll probably have to hold them over, but we're gonna take our break, and then we will come back.
Speaker B:You are listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the truth station here in Texas.
Speaker B:Short break, don't go anywhere.
Speaker E:What is the David Spoon Experience?
Speaker E: lf on a rocket ship racing at: Speaker E:Once there, you can sense the power and the presence of the majestic, the divine.
Speaker E:You forget about your troubles and your fears, and you just float in peace without a worry.
Speaker E:In the world, there are no struggles, no pain, no discomfort.
Speaker E:It's soothing, calm, comfortable.
Speaker E:But then the show starts, and you realize that none of that stuff has anything to do with the show.
Speaker E:What were you thinking?
Speaker E:The David Spoon experience.
Speaker E:Only for the brave of heart and the bored.
Speaker B:What is the David Spoon experience?
Speaker B:So the situation for the woman turned out to be fine.
Speaker B:But remember, he's there with Jairus, and Jairus daughter is dying.
Speaker B:Verse 35.
Speaker B:While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader, and said, you, daughter is dead.
Speaker B:Why bother the teacher anymore?
Speaker B:Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, don't be afraid.
Speaker B:Just believe this is a situation for Jairus that went from worse to the worst.
Speaker B:You know how we said it can go from bad to worse?
Speaker B:We were talking about that.
Speaker B:Well, it can go from bad to worse to the worst.
Speaker B:And this is the worst.
Speaker B:The guy's daughter died.
Speaker B:Oh.
Speaker B:She wasn't just really saying she died dead.
Speaker B:And they even said to her, what?
Speaker B:There's no point in talking to this guy anymore.
Speaker B:This is over.
Speaker B:Situation done.
Speaker B:That's how a lot of us process situation done.
Speaker B:But then Jesus does what Jesus does because he's so amazing.
Speaker B:He overheard what they said to him.
Speaker B:They didn't say it to Jesus.
Speaker B:They said it to the guy.
Speaker B:They said it to Jairus.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:And they said to him, why bother the teacher anymore?
Speaker B:Overhearing what they said, Jesus said to Jairus, don't be afraid.
Speaker B:Just believe.
Speaker B:There are three things that you just.
Speaker B:You can't miss this.
Speaker B:Number one, Jesus is telling the guy whose daughter just died, ignore them.
Speaker B:It's like, can you imagine?
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:The doctor just pronounced her dead.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker B:Ignore that guy.
Speaker B:What?
Speaker B:He's the doctor.
Speaker B:Ignore that guy.
Speaker B:That's just like the blind man who are like.
Speaker B:People are telling him, be quiet, stop, and stop.
Speaker B:And he shouts out all the more.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:At some point, you just got to ignore any external noise that hasn't been sanctioned by God and just go, yeah, I'm not paying attention to that.
Speaker B:Welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker B:Thank you for joining us here at Kaam 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.
Speaker B:That's Ka.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:770, the Truth Station here in Texas.
Speaker B:Texas.
Speaker B:We do have somebody on the phone line.
Speaker B:We're gonna go ahead and send them on through.
Speaker B:Knock Knock.
Speaker B:This is David.
Speaker B:Who am I talking to?
Speaker A:It's brother Roger again.
Speaker B:Hello, brother Roger again.
Speaker B:How art thou?
Speaker A:Well, it's just we.
Speaker A:We went.
Speaker A:We.
Speaker A:We got through another day and we got through.
Speaker A:We got through Tuesday, okay.
Speaker B:That's right, Tuesday.
Speaker B:No, no Power made for a very interesting show, didn't it?
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:I texted you.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:I texted you, I said, I can't hear you, and then I got a response way down the road.
Speaker B:That's how long it took to travel with no power.
Speaker B:How are you doing?
Speaker A:But I want.
Speaker A:I was.
Speaker A:I was gonna call in early on Tuesday and tell you it was Fat Tuesday, but.
Speaker A:And you know, you know, long time ago, I told you what Fat Tuesday for, didn't I?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:That'S faithful, available and teachable.
Speaker B:There you go.
Speaker B:That's what we all need to.
Speaker B:That's really funny because nobody wants to be fat.
Speaker B:But faithful, available and teachable.
Speaker B:Well, that's a good thing to be.
Speaker A:I just want you to know that I'm being encouraged by all your shows and, and your support for.
Speaker A:With prayer.
Speaker A:And I just wanted to let you know that we are encouraged.
Speaker A:You know, we.
Speaker A:We don't always understand the way the.
Speaker A:It's like you're filled.
Speaker A:Just before that man said that his daughter died and everything.
Speaker A:Well, my daughter just died in January, and we got through it.
Speaker A:But I was.
Speaker A:I was prompted by the Lord.
Speaker A:She was going through pneumonia, and I was prompted by the Lord to go two days before and talk to her and ask her whether her heart was right with the Lord.
Speaker A:And she said, yes, sir, my heart is right with the Lord.
Speaker A:So that's more comforting than bringing her back to the.
Speaker A:Because the area she was living in and the, the everything that she was going through was she had emphysema and she had other.
Speaker A:Other ailments.
Speaker A:That's why the pneumonia was working hard on her.
Speaker A:And then she had some kind of tumor also.
Speaker A:So I just believe that God said, well, I'm not going to let you go through this stuff no more.
Speaker A:I'm just going to get you in a better place.
Speaker A:And he gave me comfort like he did that man.
Speaker A:He brought that man's daughter back.
Speaker A:But he told me that, ask the question, then you'll feel better about what you're going to go through.
Speaker A:And I do feel better about that.
Speaker A:Not that I didn't mourn.
Speaker A:I took two.
Speaker A:Two weeks of mourning and, and said, I'm okay now it's time to be done with that and get back to the Lord's work.
Speaker A:So that's what I did.
Speaker A:And I feel like I'm back with doing what the Lord wants me to do, encouraging people to serve the Lord, encouraging people that the Lord is the only way to live, and doing what I can to help the kingdom along the road, and hopefully that I can help the radio station along the road.
Speaker B:You know, it's interesting the way you said that because you mentioned that it's not like you didn't mourn even though you know, you know what was going on.
Speaker B:Well, great.
Speaker B:Just the best example of that is Jesus knowing that he was going to be raising Lazarus in just a wee bit of time.
Speaker B:But all the pain and all the grief for all the people, he wept.
Speaker B:And so the argument or the discussion is, well, why would he weep?
Speaker B:And he's weeping because even though he knows what's coming, there's still Martha and Mary and all these other people that are hurting, and there's a lot of pain there.
Speaker B:And he shares that.
Speaker B:He knows that pain with us, and he shares that.
Speaker B:And it's important to understand that that grieving part, that's not only is it 100% biblical, but it's just a.
Speaker B:An awesome illustration that the Lord knows and he knows that hurts, but he also knows what's coming and what will happen afterwards.
Speaker B:And once you get through that, once you process through some of that morning, you recognize, hey, you know what?
Speaker B:There's something else that is coming, and it's going to be a reunion, and it's going to be way past what anybody has in mind.
Speaker B:And that's just a beautiful element when that reunion takes place.
Speaker B:That's why we want him to come back, like, right now, like, come back, Lord.
Speaker A:And the greatest thing about it is that after all that happened, he still gave me a word that helped me along my journey, you know, and I would.
Speaker A:I always talk about the cat.
Speaker A:After everything's over, then you're supposed to cast your cares upon him.
Speaker A:But the greatest word that I got after that was, well, the cares are coming, so why don't you just go ahead and cast them before they come?
Speaker A:And that's right.
Speaker A:I mean, go, hey, you didn't know that.
Speaker A:And we talked about that the other day, you know, about casting the care before they come.
Speaker A:And I just.
Speaker A:It just helped me so much that God still.
Speaker A:And you got that feel about me saying it.
Speaker A:God's still working on me for.
Speaker A:To make me what I ought to be.
Speaker A:And I.
Speaker A:I've still got a little ways to go.
Speaker A:And with his help, I'm gonna get There.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:And I don't, I don't think.
Speaker B:I don't think anybody is void of.
Speaker B:Everybody has a little ways or a long ways to go.
Speaker A:Yeah, but I didn't want to answer trivia.
Speaker A:I haven't been doing very well.
Speaker B:That's okay.
Speaker A:I thought I'd be.
Speaker A:I thought I'd beat you to the punch.
Speaker B:That's funny.
Speaker B:That is funny.
Speaker B:We love it when you share.
Speaker B:We love when you share your heart.
Speaker B:Some praise, testimonies, even.
Speaker B:Some of the pain is.
Speaker B:It's really important for Christians to understand this is what the Lord calls us to, that we bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Speaker A:I really and truly was devastated, but I didn't allow that to change my perspective on what the Lord is doing and is going to do and what his plan is for me.
Speaker A:I know that his plans are above what I can even imagine.
Speaker A:So I, I'm just gonna go with the, the flow and, and ask God to.
Speaker A:And he gave me rest.
Speaker A:He.
Speaker A:I took two weeks off a radio station and every, everything, everybody.
Speaker A:You know, I had a.
Speaker A:I had my job to do about.
Speaker A:I was the one that had to do all the arrangements, clean her apartment, get her vehicle, go and try to straighten all that out.
Speaker A:But God helped me get through it and, and you know, with my wife being sick, I had to help her along the way, you know, and.
Speaker A:But it was good, and we're still good because even with any bad news there, the good news is still alive.
Speaker A:The good news is still alive.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:And, and I'm just going to quit there in Jesus name.
Speaker A:God bless your radio ministry.
Speaker A:I wish I could do more for you right now, but I'm in a, in a little spot where God's going to help me get out of this little spot, but I'm going to get out and then I'll be able to.
Speaker B:Help you as the Lord leadeth.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:That's how we stand with that.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker B:All right, my brother.
Speaker A:Well, God bless.
Speaker B:God bless.
Speaker A:You've been so much, so important in my life because I used to just listen to all the secular radio and then I switched over to this channel on my breaks and just such a wonderful feeling to know that there's somebody there that is ministering and tell them the truth, you know, and I don't have to listen to all the, all the rhetoric and what's going on in politics, and I just ignore politics anymore.
Speaker B:Yes, I understand you need a break.
Speaker B:Sometimes there's no Question?
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, no question.
Speaker B:I appreciate your words and I appreciate the love and the care and the prayers that you have for us as well.
Speaker B:Well.
Speaker B:And you are greatly loved and beloved amongst the audience.
Speaker B:So I just want you to know that.
Speaker A:Yeah, well, thank you very much and God bless you too, brother.
Speaker B:Bye bye.
Speaker B:All right, a phenomenal phone call from our very own Brother Roger again and again.
Speaker B:We told you before.
Speaker B:So he called in one time, and then he called again.
Speaker B:He goes, this is Brother Roger again.
Speaker B:That was his fault that he did that, because then we tagged him with.
Speaker B:His name is Brother Roger Again because that's what he called himself.
Speaker B:So that's how it goes.
Speaker B:All right, we'll take a short break and then come back.
Speaker B:You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the truth station here in Texas.
Speaker B:Don't go anywhere.
Speaker B:What is the David Spoon Experience for?
Speaker B:This is the kind of high priest we need.
Speaker B:Holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners and exalted above the heavens.
Speaker B:He doesn't need to offer sacrifices every day as high priests do, first for their own sins and then those of the people.
Speaker B:He did this once for all when he offered himself.
Speaker B:Now watch this.
Speaker B:Watch.
Speaker B:Oh, boy.
Speaker B:This is so unbelievable.
Speaker B:Jesus is a unique kind of priest.
Speaker B:He is your high priest.
Speaker B:He is so unique.
Speaker B:And you think, why?
Speaker B:What is it that makes Jesus unique?
Speaker B:And you already know, well, it's because he's born from the Holy Spirit and he's born from Mary.
Speaker B:So he's fully man, fully God.
Speaker B:And it's like, okay, I get that part.
Speaker B:But there's something else that we miss quite often, and that is Jesus is undefiled, separated from sinners.
Speaker B:And verse 27 says he doesn't need to offer sacrifices every day like the high priests do, first for their own sins.
Speaker B:So let me explain this to you.
Speaker B:When priests or petitioners or people are praying on your behalf, every human being has to deal with their own set of sins.
Speaker B:It doesn't matter if it's the high priest of Israel.
Speaker B:It doesn't matter if it's the high priest one year, 20 years later, 40 years later, there is something that takes place.
Speaker B:It's the same dynamic that takes place when you spend time with the Lord and you come before the Lord and you thank him and you recognize the grace of God enables you to stand.
Speaker B:Because apart from that, the grace, apart from the mercy, apart from the love that comes from the Lord in the redeeming work from Jesus Christ that you receive by faith that he gives by grace.
Speaker B:Apart from that, you're a mess.
Speaker B:And so when you come before the Lord, you're like, lord, you know, please forgive me.
Speaker B:Please don't be mad, please, you know, don't chasten me.
Speaker B:David said it great.
Speaker B:Don't chasten me in your hot displeasure.
Speaker B:I don't want to get you irritated.
Speaker B:Nah, da da, da.
Speaker B:You see, when Jesus comes and petitions for us, he doesn't have to go through that.
Speaker B:He doesn't have to be centered on himself to be forgiven because there's nothing for him to be forgiven.
Speaker B:He's sinless.
Speaker B:He doesn't need to offer sacrifices for what he's done or for any of the lacking that he would have if he was a regular human priest.
Speaker B:So when Jesus comes on our behalf, there's nothing.
Speaker B:Get this, get this, here it is.
Speaker B:There's nothing distracting him in his life.
Speaker B:He is only focused on our well being.
Speaker B:Welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker B:Thank you for joining us here at Kaam 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.
Speaker B:That's Ka.
Speaker B:Amen 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.
Speaker B:Here's your next trivia question.
Speaker B:Jesus says that you have to do which of these things to see the kingdom of God.
Speaker B:Which of these things do you need to do?
Speaker B:Love one another, be born again, do what's right or tithe.
Speaker B:Those are your four choices.
Speaker B:Jesus.
Speaker B:Jesus said, in order to see the kingdom of God, what do you need to do?
Speaker B:1.
Speaker B:Love one another to be born again.
Speaker B:3.
Speaker B:Do what's right.
Speaker B:4.
Speaker B:Tithe your answer, John, 3.
Speaker B:3 John 3.
Speaker B:3.
Speaker B:For those that want to reach out to us.
Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B:Look, I don't want to be that ministry that over pushes.
Speaker B:We need help.
Speaker B:If you can help, that's great.
Speaker B:If you can't, I need your prayers.
Speaker B:I'm asking you to pray on our behalf.
Speaker B:We have some issues we gotta take care of and we wanna get them done.
Speaker B:And they seem to revolve around money a lot just like everybody else.
Speaker B:Nobody else is different than us but we are dependent on the donations of our listeners.
Speaker B:So we ask you to check it out.
Speaker B:Go to the website but listen, don't get manipulated into giving.
Speaker B:Not just with us, with anybody.
Speaker B:You do what the Lord directs you to do.
Speaker B:You will answer to him, not to a person.
Speaker B:You will answer to God.
Speaker B:That's the thing.
Speaker B:Okay?
Speaker B:Check out our opportunities to give, plus the other things that we have going on in the ministry@hemustincrease.org prayer request.
Speaker B:Hemustincrease.org praise report.
Speaker B:Hemustincreased.org looking to give to this ministry.
Speaker B:He mustincrease.org confused by what's happening right now.
Speaker B:Hemustincrease.org hemustincrease.org sweep the lick.
Speaker B:You have a problem with that lucency?
Speaker B:Sweep the leg.
Speaker B:That's so mean.
Speaker B:Sweep the leg.
Speaker B:That's mean.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Anyway.
Speaker B:All right, we have our trivia question.
Speaker B:We do have somebody on the phone.
Speaker B:See, that's not cheery like our jingles.
Speaker B:We do have somebody on the phone ready to answer a trivia question.
Speaker B:Let's send them on through.
Speaker B:Knock, knock.
Speaker B:This is David.
Speaker B:Who am I talking to?
Speaker B:David.
Speaker F:Good afternoon, Sergio.
Speaker B:Hello, Sergio.
Speaker B:How are you?
Speaker A:Good.
Speaker F:How are you?
Speaker B:I'm doing pretty good.
Speaker B:We're doing, you know, got things happening all the way around.
Speaker B:I think next, not this weekend, but next weekend we're going to have the grandkids stay about three or four days with us.
Speaker B:So you'll be hearing me cry out for prayer quite a bit, just to let you know, because they're going to be hanging out with us for like three or four straight days.
Speaker B:Yikes.
Speaker B:Anyway, all right.
Speaker B:Do you want to do the triv?
Speaker B:You good for the triv?
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker F:As a matter of fact, I do have the answer for the Triv.
Speaker F:And ironically, I was going to call earlier in the program, and this is just an excellent segue for my question.
Speaker B:Perfect.
Speaker B:All right, let's set it up.
Speaker B:Here we go.
Speaker B:Jesus said that in order to see the kingdom of God, do you have to one, love one another, two, be born again, three, do what is right, or four, tithe, according to John 3.
Speaker B:3.
Speaker F:The answer is be born again.
Speaker B:That is correct.
Speaker B:Amundo, sir, you are right.
Speaker B:You have to be born again in order to see the kingdom of God.
Speaker B:That is exactly correctamundo, sir.
Speaker B:Awesome.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Now this is segue for your question.
Speaker B:What do you have on the mind?
Speaker B:What's going on?
Speaker F:So I've been, you know, you've been part of my journey.
Speaker F:And thank you so much for that, David.
Speaker F:And you know, I listen to Christian talk all day long while I drive and one of the questions that I had, I just needed just a little bit affirmation, I guess, during this journey.
Speaker F:Can you give me your Cliffs Notes version of being born again and being a Christian?
Speaker F:And I'll take your answer off the air and thank you for all you do, and I'll call back sooner.
Speaker B:Okay, My brother.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:God bless you, bro.
Speaker F:Love you in the Lord.
Speaker B:You too, bro.
Speaker B:God bless you.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Excellent question.
Speaker B:And it's just, you know, I'd be surprised.
Speaker B:We'll break out of this, but we'll find out.
Speaker B:Here's the thing about all of that.
Speaker B:So it's really funny because in the Christian realms, there are some people that are like, you know, born again.
Speaker B:Born again.
Speaker B:Are you one of those born againers?
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker B:You guys have probably not everybody has heard that.
Speaker B:I have heard that on multiple occasions.
Speaker B:In the meantime, I'm taking you over to John, chapter three, and we're gonna pick it up from John, chapter three, and we'RE just gonna read what it says.
Speaker B:We don't have to be brilliant about it.
Speaker B:We just read it.
Speaker B:That'd be the first place.
Speaker B:There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
Speaker B:This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, rabbi, we know that you are a teacher from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.
Speaker B:Jesus answered and said to him, most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Speaker B:Nicodemus said to him, how can a man be born when he is old?
Speaker B:Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?
Speaker B:Jesus answered, most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Speaker B:That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.
Speaker B:Now, I don't have to go too deep into biology, especially with all the nutty, kooky people that are all around society, to say that when a woman typically gives birth, there is this one unique thing that does take place.
Speaker B:It is the breaking of the fluid.
Speaker B:Or we say my water broke.
Speaker B:Well, I think most people understand that's part of the process when people give birth.
Speaker B:Yes, there's exceptions to that, but we're talking about general principles in life.
Speaker B:And so what Nicodemus does is he says, hey, you know what, Jesus?
Speaker B:And by the way, he comes to him at night, which is kind of unique because they typically Wouldn't do that.
Speaker B:It's like, look, I know you're the real deal.
Speaker B:Nobody does what you're doing unless you're the real deal.
Speaker B:I mean, that's it.
Speaker B:And then Jesus says, look, unless you're born again, you can't see the kingdom of God.
Speaker B:So now Nicodemus asks a totally right on, I think, spot on question that anybody would ask.
Speaker B:He's like, well, wait, wait, wait, born again?
Speaker B:How am I supposed to get in my mother's womb a second time?
Speaker B:Jesus response is, unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Speaker B:So here's the first mega break in the process.
Speaker B:When Adam and Eve sinned.
Speaker B:Remember back then, when Adam and Eve sinned and don't you just love it when Adam sinned and what did Adam do?
Speaker B:We talked about this while we were going through Genesis back then.
Speaker B:Adam blamed the woman and then blamed God.
Speaker B:Oh yeah, that's exactly what it he goes, this woman who you gave me.
Speaker B:Okay, just so you can know, people have been blaming people and God and everything for ages.
Speaker B:Gone by, nothing new, all the way back to the garden, to the first sin, right?
Speaker B:But what happened when God explained to them that if they sinned, they would die?
Speaker B:They did die spiritually.
Speaker B:They did not die physically.
Speaker B:Yet this is another element that gives a testimony to the redemption process that goes in pieces.
Speaker B:Here's what I want you to fully understand.
Speaker B:When mankind rebelled against God, that sin killed that spirit that had fellowship with God.
Speaker B:And what Jesus comes along and says is, look, you have to have that spirit birthed again.
Speaker B:It has to take place again.
Speaker B:And it's got to take place by the Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:And you have to have that spirit part of you born up again.
Speaker B:And what happens is Christians who are born again find out that they have a new nature.
Speaker B:Their spirit becomes alive, animated because of the power of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:And that spirit then grows in the process.
Speaker B:So we have to be born again by the Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:Our Spirit has to be rebirthed, animated, just like Jesus was physically animated, reanimated by the Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:It was the same process.
Speaker B:When he rose from the dead, he didn't kind of die, he died.
Speaker B:And he was animated back into life by the power of the Spirit.
Speaker B:He came back to life.
Speaker B:What we need to understand is that spirit in us needs to be rebirthed.
Speaker B:And to be honest, that spirit in us needs to be fed.
Speaker B:That's an amazing thing because now that I'm thinking about it and I'm just kicking this in my Mind going, God is way past me on this one.
Speaker B:Listen, this is part of the introductory note that I read.
Speaker B:Didn't know Sergio was calling, didn't know any of that was happening.
Speaker B:Listen to what I wrote in the note in the introduction.
Speaker B:This is what I wrote a month ago by using the phrase being renewed.
Speaker B:Regarding the new nature, it is clear that this is an ongoing process that we are currently engaged with.
Speaker B:Our new man, the born again man, needs to be renewed.
Speaker B:The way that renewal comes is through the knowledge of the image of the Creator.
Speaker B:The knowledge of the image of the Creator is the word of God.
Speaker B:We need to be in the Word of God so we can feed the new man.
Speaker B:Because man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Speaker B:I wrote that a month ago.
Speaker B:And then Sergio calls up and asks this question.
Speaker B:If you can't see that connection, I can't make it for you.
Speaker B:That's up to the Lord to bring it together for you.
Speaker B:But Jesus makes it clear that we need to be born again.
Speaker B:We need to have the Holy Spirit move upon us in such a way that our birth is not just from the amniotic fluid of a mom, but it's also from the power of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:And then Jesus in verse 6, separates that he goes.
Speaker B:That which is born of flesh is flesh.
Speaker B:That which is born of spirit is spirit.
Speaker B:Making a distinction, your spirit that's born again is yours, but it has to be born again by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:And once that spirit's born again, that's the new you.
Speaker B:And what do you know for sure about the new you?
Speaker B:There's a lot of growing in the new you, isn't there?
Speaker B:Yeah, there's this whole part where you learn about sanctification.
Speaker B:This whole part where it's like I'm reflecting Jesus.
Speaker B:Step by step, glory by glory.
Speaker B:God's not finished with me.
Speaker B:Piece by piece by piece.
Speaker B:All of that has nothing to do with your flesh.
Speaker B:It has to do with your born again spirit.
Speaker B:The spirit that died in humanity, with humanity as offspring of Adam and Eve, but then born again by the Holy Spirit of God.
Speaker B:And that little new spirit in you growing up.
Speaker B:And when that new spirit starts off with you, for many of us it's like, woo.
Speaker B:The word of God is just somehow.
Speaker B:It's amazing.
Speaker B:All of a sudden you're reading and you're, oh my gosh, the Bible says so much I never knew.
Speaker B:Well, that's the Holy Spirit who reanimated your spirit, dropping you in the realm of the spiritual.
Speaker B:And all of a sudden you realize there's food everywhere that's for your spirit, and that's the whole process.
Speaker B:And while we're waiting and growing and reflecting Jesus more and more and more, he's helping us grow up.
Speaker B:And this is the whole thing on Second Corinthians 3:18, that we reflect Jesus image, glory by glory, as our spirit matures and grows and grows and grows and is renewed.
Speaker B:And we become more like the Lord.
Speaker B:And we get through this trial and that trial and this trial and that trial, and we go through these different things and God is honored and he teaches us and we make three steps forward and two steps back, which is still, by the way, net one step.
Speaker B:While we're going through that whole process, it is all bringing glory and honor to God.
Speaker B:And that's all coming because you have been born again.
Speaker B:Now, what's ironic is people that think, well, I don't need to be born again.
Speaker B:Well, then tell Jesus he's wrong.
Speaker B:It's not even that complex.
Speaker B:Just tell them you're wrong.
Speaker B:Jesus, I can do whatever I want.
Speaker B:And so what's really funny about the born again process is this.
Speaker B:Listen to this, because I want to ruin all theologies.
Speaker B:Happily, Jesus said in verse eight, the wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from.
Speaker B:So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.
Speaker B:Now you're sitting there thinking, what does that mean?
Speaker B:That means that it's not the same for everybody in every way, shape or form.
Speaker B:That's just weird thinking.
Speaker B:In fact, your birth, your upbringing as a regular person, you're going to school and having brothers and sisters all your whole upbringing when you were a kid, all of that, it's different for every person.
Speaker B:Well, guess what?
Speaker B:It's different for every person who's born again.
Speaker B:How the Lord brings you through the journey.
Speaker B:You'll find out that sometimes in the journey, things speed up really fast.
Speaker B:Sometimes they go really slow, sometimes there's big pauses.
Speaker B:Sometimes you're on a roller coaster that is 100% normal.
Speaker B:Nobody tells God how to do what he's doing.
Speaker B:And the Holy Spirit works on us in different ways at different times, in different elements, and we can't.
Speaker B:Sometimes you go through it and you're like, I don't even know what I'm going through.
Speaker B:Yeah, because you're going through this process where God is the one who's making you more and more like Jesus, and he's not asking anybody's permission to teach you bring you or lead you along.
Speaker B:But he's still working on us.
Speaker B:And he's still working on us.
Speaker B:And what's amazing about that question that he asked, if you guys could catch the spiritual connection that is taking place right now, it's absolutely amazing.
Speaker B:This Colossians passage that I was going to be teaching on, which I'm going to teach on next week now, is all about our new man, our born again self, our new self being strengthened and renewed.
Speaker B:And we're told to put off the old because let me explain something to you.
Speaker B:Positionally, the old is crucified, but practically the old has not been eradicated.
Speaker B:What that means is, positionally, you're great, but the practical part of it is you're still going to die if the Lord tarries.
Speaker B:And you think, well, why?
Speaker B:And the reason is because Jesus didn't punch the final ticket, which is death.
Speaker B:So if you still die, Christians are still dying.
Speaker B:They're dying because even though they've been fully redeemed, the redemption has not been executed to the fullness.
Speaker B:Therefore death still exists.
Speaker B:Death came about because of the rebelliousness that took place against God.
Speaker B:That's why mankind dies, because sin entered the world and tainted the nature.
Speaker B:So we need a new nature.
Speaker B:Your old flesh, that old part of you.
Speaker B:Two things.
Speaker B:One, when you visit the old flesh, have you noticed it's just as bad as ever?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:That's just a fact.
Speaker B:Number two, when you go unto the Lord, that ain't going to be your old flesh.
Speaker B:It ain't going to be the old you, it ain't going to be the fleshy you, it ain't going to be the bad you.
Speaker B:And none of that's going.
Speaker B:None of it is going.
Speaker B:It's only the new you, the new spirit.
Speaker B:So you just think about this thing.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:This is why Romans in and of itself is one of the most fascinating books, mostly because we get this full understanding that we have the ability through Jesus Christ to walk as much in the new man and by the power of the Holy Spirit as we decide.
Speaker B:It just so happens that God knows how much you're going to decide and kind of works with you.
Speaker B:That's just the truth.
Speaker B:But what you need to understand is born again is when your spirit comes back to life and you become alive to God.
Speaker B:That process takes place by the regeneration of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:And what did we say?
Speaker B:I think it was a couple of days ago.
Speaker B:And the renewal takes place also by this communion with the Lord through His word, through fellowship, through prayer, through the Holy Spirit, all of this happens so that we can continually be renewed.
Speaker B:And we need all of that.
Speaker B:But what we really need is to stop trying to label it and figure it out this way.
Speaker B:You want to walk in the new you.
Speaker A:You.
Speaker B:You want to walk in the born again you.
Speaker B:You want to walk in that way that gives you victory over all these things.
Speaker B:Spend time with Jesus, because that's how you do it.
Speaker B:Don't tell me you got to have this, that, whatever.
Speaker B:Listen to me.
Speaker B:Spend time with Jesus.
Speaker B:If you've not met Jesus, call upon his name right now.
Speaker B:If you know Jesus and you're not walking in it, call upon his name and ask for more.
Speaker B:Even Moses, more inundated in the presence of God than most of us could ever dream of, said, show me your glory.
Speaker B:I want more.
Speaker B:That is how we ought to be walking the walk that is the born again spirit going, hello, I'm alive.
Speaker B:Feed me.
Speaker B:I'm hungry.
Speaker B:Feed me, Seymour.
Speaker B:Feed me right.
Speaker B:You have to do that primarily through the word of God, through prayer, through fellowship.
Speaker B:The new you is longing to grow.
Speaker B:Well, help.
Speaker B:You're part of it, and you can do it in Christ.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:Okay, great.
Speaker B:All right, folks, that was a nice little rant you've been listening to.
Speaker B:The David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the truth station here in Texas.
Speaker B:22 and a half hour break, then we'll come back, More insanity with Spoonanity.
Speaker B:Talk to you then.
Speaker C:Most of my life, it feels like I've been running, running and running and running.
Speaker B:The views expressed on the preceding program.
Speaker A:Were those of the speakers and not.
Speaker B:Necessarily those of kaam, DJRD Broadcasting or its sponsors.
