03-06-2025 part 1: A Journey through Revelation: Lessons from the Faithful Church
In this episode, we delve into the profound theme of faith and anticipation of divine blessings, posing the pivotal question: "Do you have faith in the Lord that great things are coming?" Through an exploration of biblical love and the expectations we place upon God, we invite listeners to reflect on their own spiritual journeys and the openness to receive the goodness of the Lord. Our discourse beckons an examination of the faithful church in Philadelphia, underscoring the resilience and hope embodied by its members in the face of life's challenges. We also touch upon the necessity of engaging with our community through shared testimonies and prayer, fostering a sense of unity as we navigate our spiritual paths together. As we embark on this enlightening journey, we encourage our audience to embrace the anticipation of God's generosity and grace in their lives.
The conversation further transitions into an examination of the Church of Philadelphia as depicted in the Book of Revelation. Dr. Spoon characterizes this church as the epitome of faithfulness, highlighting its unique standing among the seven churches mentioned in Revelation. He articulates that this church embodies the principles of brotherly love and steadfastness in faith, drawing parallels between the church's characteristics and the expectations believers should cultivate in their spiritual lives. By presenting the Philadelphia church as a model, Spoon invites listeners to embody similar virtues, thus fostering a community that thrives on mutual support and spiritual growth. This segment of the episode not only serves to uplift but also to instruct, as it bridges ancient biblical teachings with contemporary Christian practice, urging the audience to reflect thoughtfully on their spiritual journeys.

Speaker B:Dr.
Speaker B:David Spoon.
Speaker B:And I'll be your host for the next 5,400,000 milliseconds.
Speaker B:Get ready for one of the more bizarre experiences on live radio.
Speaker B:Here is the key to the show.
Speaker B:We don't know what we're doing.
Speaker B:We have no idea what's gonna happen and we don't care.
Speaker B:But for the next few minutes, I wanna talk biblical love with you.
Speaker B:So here we go.
Speaker B:We're asking questions about living life as a Christian.
Speaker B:That thingy right there.
Speaker B:Thursdays is our gear up day.
Speaker B:Here's the question.
Speaker B:Let's see if you can answer.
Speaker B:It's pretty straightforward.
Speaker B:Do you have faith in the Lord that great things are coming?
Speaker B:That's the question.
Speaker B:The Lord shows up, knocks on your door, you open the door.
Speaker B:Is it great what he's bringing?
Speaker B:That's all I'm asking you.
Speaker B:Do you have this anticipation, this expectation of the goodness, the graciousness, the generosity, the awesomeness of God?
Speaker B:He gave you Jesus Christ, his very own son.
Speaker B:How will he not also give you everything else you need?
Speaker B:Are you ready?
Speaker B:Do you have the mindset?
Speaker B:Are you prepared?
Speaker B:Do you have faith in the Lord that great things are coming?
Speaker B:That's the question we are asking you.
Speaker B:If you have an opinion, a comment, a thought, or your own question, don't let it die of Loneliness.
Speaker B:Just reach out and give us a call.
Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B:Talking to Jammin Jacob is like spending time relaxing and chillaxing.
Speaker C:Thank you, David.
Speaker C:Happy Thursday.
Speaker B:Happy Thursday to you, my friend.
Speaker B:How are things going so far today?
Speaker C:Well, no power outages today.
Speaker C:So far, so good.
Speaker B:That's good.
Speaker B:That's a good thing, a great thing that that hasn't happened.
Speaker B:I will let you know that I just discovered about five minutes before going on the air that I have switched some of my prep notes.
Speaker B:I put Mondays where Fridays were and Fridays where Mondays were.
Speaker B:And I'm looking at them going, why is this not working?
Speaker B:And the Lord has yet again shown me you're not that smart, are ya?
Speaker C:So is this.
Speaker C:Are you winging it today?
Speaker B:No, no, I got the notes for today.
Speaker B:It's just.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:Okay, so that's good.
Speaker B:It can be a little bit of homework when I get home.
Speaker B:I spent about four and a half hours doing show prep this morning, and apparently I put different papers in different folders.
Speaker B:And, you know, it's just part of the fun that you get to experience.
Speaker B:I would like to blame it on the enemy because I think that's the easiest thing to do.
Speaker B:But there's this other part of me that thinks sometimes I'm just a schmo.
Speaker B:And that's what happened.
Speaker B:That's what I'm going with.
Speaker B:Do you like that one?
Speaker B:That's just honest, isn't it?
Speaker C:Yeah, it's a good thing it's not today, though.
Speaker C:It's tomorrow.
Speaker C:So you can fix it and you'll be ready to go for tomorrow.
Speaker B:Plenty of time to fix it.
Speaker B:Plenty of time.
Speaker B:Let's go back to this.
Speaker B:Now, look, if you wanna call us, you can do that.
Speaker B:Look, you can't not answer the question I asked you.
Speaker B:You cannot answer it to me.
Speaker B:You just can't not answer it before the Lord.
Speaker B:Do you have faith in the Lord that great things are coming?
Speaker B:Do you anticipate from God great things?
Speaker B:Or do you expect from God really bad things?
Speaker B:Do you think of him as the Scrooge?
Speaker B:He's so generous.
Speaker B:He's given everything for you.
Speaker B:We need to have a better expectation operating on a regular basis.
Speaker B:So, you know, you can call us, by the way, and touch base with us on that.
Speaker B:It's not just Calling.
Speaker B:I want to point that out.
Speaker B:You can also text and some people really enjoy that.
Speaker B:And we like it.
Speaker B:It's fun.
Speaker B:The texts come here.
Speaker B:I can't reply as quick as they used to because we get so many of them.
Speaker B:But we do our best, right?
Speaker B:The text number is different than the call number.
Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B:Also on top of that, if you don't like those two methods, you can email us during the show.
Speaker B:Same thing moves a little slower, but same thing.
Speaker B:Davidemustincrease.org davidemustincrease.org why would you call?
Speaker B:Why would you text?
Speaker B:Why would you email?
Speaker B:Well, let's go back to the original question.
Speaker B:Do you have faith in the Lord that great things are coming?
Speaker B:Yes or no?
Speaker B:Also, has the Lord done something for you and you already know it?
Speaker B:Do you want to share it?
Speaker B:This is your opportunity.
Speaker B:Is it a testimony, a praise report?
Speaker B:Both?
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker B:Tell me what the Lord has done.
Speaker B:Let's share together as brothers and sisters in the Lord, our Heavenly Father.
Speaker B:We are blood relatives, so we got the same dad.
Speaker B:We're blood relatives.
Speaker B:You know, blood is thicker than water.
Speaker B:They used to say that because people would get baptized and thinking that that was thicker.
Speaker B:It's like, look, we are blood relatives through Jesus Christ.
Speaker B:Get a clue, right?
Speaker B:Additionally, we drink from one Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:That creates a great sense of unity for brothers and sisters.
Speaker B:You can have differences.
Speaker B:You can like different things.
Speaker B:You can gear towards different elements in your Christian faith.
Speaker B:There's nothing wrong with that.
Speaker B:It's the body of Christ.
Speaker B:Not everybody is the nose and not everybody is the kneecap, but it's still the body of Christ.
Speaker B:Remember Israel, but 12 tribes, right?
Speaker B:But Israel, that's the key.
Speaker B:So in understanding that, if you've got something that you want to share, share it.
Speaker B:If you need prayer, bring it.
Speaker B:Let's have your brothers and sisters pray, petitioning, trusting, believing the goodness of God, the generosity of God, that great things are in fact coming.
Speaker B:And let's have a faith that says that.
Speaker B:Let's put the sails up before the wind hits so we can catch the wind.
Speaker B:Let's do it, do it with faith.
Speaker B:We submit it to the Lord, but we believe.
Speaker B:Remember what Jesus prayed.
Speaker B:Father Abba.
Speaker B:Father, all things are possible for you.
Speaker B:Let this cup pass for me.
Speaker B:Nevertheless, not my will.
Speaker B:Look at those four things he identifies.
Speaker B:Father, Father, God he prays, acknowledging, saying, speaking.
Speaker B:You can do anything.
Speaker B:That's that faith expectation.
Speaker B:He petitions what it is.
Speaker B:I'd like this cup to pass from me.
Speaker B:That's what I'd prefer.
Speaker B:And closes with, all according to your will.
Speaker B:That's how you pray.
Speaker B:Jesus taught us how to pray.
Speaker B:It's pretty straightforward.
Speaker B:We see it in the Scriptures.
Speaker B:So that's what we're offering up.
Speaker B:Maybe you've got something that's just on your mind or on your heart.
Speaker B:We love it.
Speaker B:We love it.
Speaker B:Do it.
Speaker B:Bring it.
Speaker B:We encourage that.
Speaker B:We'll do trivia later.
Speaker B:We are going to be in the book of Revelation in about a minute and a half.
Speaker B:I do want to point something out to you, really important, and that is we've changed our monthly buddies to just be a buddy.
Speaker B:And what be a buddy means is be a buddy for something.
Speaker B:When somebody speaks, somebody talks, or we mention somebody and you hear about them, you can pray for them.
Speaker B:Just take a week.
Speaker B:Mention them before the Lord.
Speaker B:Pray for them, be their buddy.
Speaker B:They don't ever have to know.
Speaker B:But the Lord knows, the Lord sees.
Speaker B:And if you want people praying for you, well, let's see how that goes.
Speaker B:When a man reaps, he reaps from what he sows.
Speaker B:So if you sow it, if you do it, you will reap it.
Speaker B:So you pray for others, and others will be praying for you.
Speaker B:See how that works?
Speaker B:Ooh, kind of nice.
Speaker B:All right, so don't forget about buddies.
Speaker B:Be a buddy.
Speaker B:Thank you very much.
Speaker B:We are in Revelation, chapter three.
Speaker B:We are in Revelation chapter three.
Speaker B:And, folks, we're picking it up at verse seven, and about time we got to this church.
Speaker B:Revelation, chapter three, verse seven says this.
Speaker B:And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia, right, These things says, he who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens.
Speaker B:And no one shuts and shuts and no one opens.
Speaker B:I know your works.
Speaker B:See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it for you.
Speaker B:Have a little strength and have kept my word and have not denied my name.
Speaker B:Yay, Philadelphia church.
Speaker B:Yay.
Speaker B:Out of the churches that we get to review, this is the church that kind of stands out as we jump back Into Revelation, verse 7.
Speaker B:It's the faithful church.
Speaker B:That's what the Philadelphia church is called, the Faithful Church.
Speaker B:Now, unfortunately, so for those that don't know Philadelphia means brotherly love, Philophili, many Philadelphia, you know, say Philo, or.
Speaker B:I'm sorry, Philo Delphia.
Speaker B:My bad.
Speaker B:It's a brotherly love.
Speaker B:It's a love between brothers and sisters, between family.
Speaker B:Now, unfortunately, in our life, Philadelphia in the United States does not represent a very good job.
Speaker B:Not that they didn't win the super bowl, but I'm trying to tell you, as a city, not the best, right?
Speaker B:But this church is the best of the seven.
Speaker B:That's what's so awesome.
Speaker B:Jesus starts off by saying these things.
Speaker B:And, boy, you've got to catch this, because as I was going through this, it turns out that the lesson later in the 60 minutes has a similar line to it, which is incredible.
Speaker B:I did not do that simultaneously or at the same time.
Speaker B:Just fascinating.
Speaker B:But this church starts off, Jesus says, these are the things that says, he who is holy and he who is true.
Speaker B:He is holy.
Speaker B:He is true.
Speaker B:Let's understand something about holy, because people think of holy, and what do you think of.
Speaker B:But holy actually means separated unto a purpose.
Speaker B:It's like the sanctification process.
Speaker B:It's separated unto God.
Speaker B:And Jesus is separated from the world.
Speaker B:He doesn't function the way the world does.
Speaker B:He doesn't define love the way the world does.
Speaker B:He doesn't define marriage the way the world does.
Speaker B:He doesn't define caring and things of that nature the way the world does.
Speaker B:It's the way that God the Father intended it to be.
Speaker B:And that's how Jesus communicates it.
Speaker B:And it's not the same.
Speaker B:And let's just understand something.
Speaker B:Being honest brothers and sisters in the Lord, the way the world takes things and perverts them.
Speaker B:Like the rainbow.
Speaker B:For lgbtq rstud w xyz abc123 yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:Okay, what's the problem?
Speaker B:The problem is it has six colors.
Speaker B:They're rainbow, but God's rainbow has seven.
Speaker B:What's the number of man?
Speaker B:Six.
Speaker B:What's the number towards God?
Speaker B:Seven.
Speaker B:Now we get it.
Speaker B:So Jesus is separated from the world.
Speaker B:That's what the holy means.
Speaker B:But this one, this one, he's not just separated, he's true.
Speaker B:Wait, what does that mean?
Speaker B:Alethea, Alethea, Alethea.
Speaker B:What does that mean?
Speaker B:Genuine, real, true, genuine, real and true.
Speaker B:Jesus is the real deal.
Speaker B:All these other things.
Speaker B:Remember, Satan is the father of lies, and every lie is connected to him, but Jesus is the opposite.
Speaker B:He's the true.
Speaker B:He's the real.
Speaker B:He's the genuine.
Speaker B:And so when the world speaks, it speaks of its own worldly truth, which is a lie.
Speaker B:Where Jesus speaks the truth, actual truth, biblical truth, and he's real, and he's Genuine, if you want to really think about it.
Speaker B:And we'll talk about this in the next 60 minutes.
Speaker B:What was the first big judgment on the church after the church was getting established, was it not?
Speaker B:Ananias and Sapphira lying about who they were?
Speaker B:Ooh, what did God do?
Speaker B:He killed them, Dave.
Speaker B:That's Old Testament.
Speaker B:That's New Testament.
Speaker B:After the resurrection, after the ascension, after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:So what we want to understand is Jesus is true, he's real, he's genuine.
Speaker B:And then he goes on to say this.
Speaker B:He who has the Key of David.
Speaker B:Now, for those that are trying to figure that out, it's very cool.
Speaker B:The Key of David is the key of the Messiah, the key of the anointed, one, of God.
Speaker B:Now, I'm not a linguistics genius, but I have been on the earth a little while, and I have figured this out.
Speaker B:Keys open and close things.
Speaker B:Keys start and stop things.
Speaker B:Keys have a sense of authority to them.
Speaker B:It specifically speaks of the authority that comes with the messiahship when he talks about the key of darkness, David, to open and close, to start and to stop.
Speaker B:So we have to remember as we carry on in the missions and the things that we're doing, that all authority, how much is all.
Speaker B:We always ask that question, don't we, all?
Speaker B:Authority in heaven and on earth resides in Jesus Christ.
Speaker B:And he has the keys to open, to close, to start, and to stop.
Speaker B:It all is in the hands of Jesus Christ.
Speaker B:And he says this.
Speaker B:Oh, come on.
Speaker B:This is so hot.
Speaker B:Jesus continues saying, he opens and no one shuts.
Speaker B:And he shuts and no one opens.
Speaker B:Let's.
Speaker B:Let's understand something just right off the bat, okay?
Speaker B:The door that opens in your life cannot be shut down by Satan without God's permission.
Speaker B:I am really tired of us operating in that deficit place.
Speaker B:We think, well, the Lord's opened the door, but by golly, if I don't do something, Satan will close it.
Speaker B:If God opens the door, Satan has no chance to close it unless the Lord allows it, because the doors are open from the authority of the Messiah.
Speaker B:The doors in your life that close will remain closed unless God wants to open it.
Speaker B:The doors that are open that God wants open will remain open as long as God wants it.
Speaker B:We have to stop thinking that anybody less than the Messiah is in charge.
Speaker B:We gotta stop that.
Speaker B:And I'll give Pastor Norris credit where he said that's bad theology.
Speaker B:Nope, it's sad theology that we don't recognize that Jesus Christ has all authority in heaven, on earth, he's either a liar or he's the Messiah.
Speaker B:Pick.
Speaker B:And so if God wants to open a door for you, it will open.
Speaker B:It will remain open.
Speaker B:And no one and nothing can shut it because only Jesus.
Speaker B:Jesus has the keys.
Speaker B:Okay, so all those arguments, all those discussions, well, the devil can do this.
Speaker B:Devil can do this.
Speaker B:Devil had to ask permission to touch Job.
Speaker B:The devil had to ask permission to touch Peter.
Speaker B:But don't get too excited, because in both cases, God said yes.
Speaker B:So remember that.
Speaker B:But he still, the enemy, has to ask permission.
Speaker B:If God opens a door for you, you don't have to be afraid, oh, the door's going to close if I don't do.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:See, that's what Abraham thought and that's what Sarah thought when they didn't have the child in time.
Speaker B:So they thought they'd pry open another door.
Speaker B:How'd that work out?
Speaker B:Maybe not that great.
Speaker B:Okay, okay, deep breath.
Speaker B:I can just do this all the way through, but I want to give people a chance to engage.
Speaker B:So here you go.
Speaker B:In Genesis, chapter three, who made coats or clothing for Adam and Eve out of skins?
Speaker B:Genesis 3.
Speaker B:21.
Speaker B:Who made clothing for Adam and Eve out of skins?
Speaker B:Who was it that made the clothing for them?
Speaker B:Very simple, straightforward question.
Speaker B:Very interesting, too.
Speaker B:It's a very fascinating teaching.
Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B:Who did it?
Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B:Additionally, you can send an email.
Speaker B:Davidemustincrease.org that's David that he must increase.org.
Speaker B:so it's a straightforward question.
Speaker B:Who made the clothes for Adam and Eve out of skins?
Speaker B:That's the question.
Speaker B:Your answer is just sitting there in Genesis 3.
Speaker B:21.
Speaker B:And there's also a very fascinating teaching that's connected to that, by the way.
Speaker B:Okay, so while you're figuring that out, who made the clothes?
Speaker B:Who made the coats or the clothing for Adam and Eve out of skins?
Speaker B:Who did that?
Speaker B:Genesis 3.
Speaker B:21.
Speaker B:If you think you know, reach out to us.
Speaker B:You're welcome to call, you're welcome to text, you're welcome to email.
Speaker B:In the meantime, I'm going to send you to the website and remind you that we function off of the generosity of our listeners and we have some things that are coming up that we need some help with.
Speaker B:And we always tell you that because I'm just tired of not telling you that we need your help to get this stuff taken care of.
Speaker B:If you like the ministry, if it's a blessing you, if it's an encouragement, please help us keep it going.
Speaker B:That's what we ask you, right?
Speaker B:It's your donations that keep it running on the radio.
Speaker B:Pretty simple.
Speaker B:We ask you to check out the website.
Speaker B:There's a lot of cool stuff on the website.
Speaker B:I wish people would get into the depth of it.
Speaker B:There's multiple pages, probably hundreds of pages of encouragement if people will sift through it.
Speaker B:And even part of one of the books that's up there that's free that you can just read right there on the website.
Speaker B:Check it all out on the website.
Speaker B:Hemustincrease.org Prayer request hemostincrease.org Praise report hemostincrease.org Looking to give to this ministry.
Speaker B:Hemustincrease.org Confused by what's happening right now.
Speaker B:Hemustincrease.org hemustincrease.org hey, Doc, we better back up.
Speaker A:We don't have enough road to get up to 88.
Speaker B:Roads where we're going, we don't need roads.
Speaker B:Actually, where we're going, our roads are going to be streets of gold.
Speaker B:That's kind of cool.
Speaker C:There you go.
Speaker B:See that?
Speaker B:There's always a connection if you look for it.
Speaker B:Your trivia question, who made clothing for Adam and Eve out of skins in Genesis 3:21?
Speaker B:If you have a notion to that, you're welcome to contact us.
Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B: -: Speaker B:And standing on your porch and yelling, david, probably will not work, but you know, you can always try.
Speaker B:All right, so let's go back to our text.
Speaker B:We're in Revelation, chapter three, talking about the Church of Philadelphia.
Speaker B:And it's like, you know, the Philo love is the brotherly love.
Speaker B:Alphia is the brotherhood that connects it all.
Speaker B:And so we've got love for the brotherhood.
Speaker B:And this church is a wonderful church, not actually very well represented in our Philadelphia in the United States.
Speaker B:But that's okay.
Speaker B:It's a good thing to understand that great things are available for us to grasp.
Speaker B:I will make a really funny point.
Speaker B:One of my friends back when I first became a Christian, his name was Irwin.
Speaker B:He said, well, I see that the United States is in the Bible.
Speaker B:I said, where's that he goes, Philadelphia.
Speaker B:I said, no, that was just a long time ago.
Speaker B:But that's just the fun of it when you're first getting in the faith.
Speaker B:Anyway, bottom line is, oh, we do have somebody on the line.
Speaker B:So wait, I'm not gonna jump off yet because I wanna give you that opportunity.
Speaker B:I do want you to understand something about what I'm saying to you in this process.
Speaker B:Listen.
Speaker B:Listen to me.
Speaker B:If the Lord opens a door, nobody but the Lord can shut it.
Speaker B:And who he gives permission to?
Speaker B:Who holds the keys?
Speaker B:Who holds the keys?
Speaker B:Who holds the key?
Speaker B:Who holds the keys?
Speaker B:I have all authority in heaven, on earth.
Speaker B:Jesus said, so we know who holds the keys.
Speaker B:Somebody is ready to answer the trivia question.
Speaker B:Let's send them on through.
Speaker B:Knock, knock.
Speaker B:This is David.
Speaker B:Who am I talking to?
Speaker D:Me.
Speaker B:Hey, what's going on?
Speaker D:Yeah, I'm just answering the question.
Speaker D:It was the heavenly Father.
Speaker D:It was done in truth.
Speaker B:That is true.
Speaker B:That's exactly right.
Speaker B:It's a heavenly father.
Speaker B:Listen to this.
Speaker B:Brilliant.
Speaker B:Now, listen.
Speaker B:Remember, Adam and Eve tried to clothe themselves, and that didn't work.
Speaker B:And God gave them another set of clothing.
Speaker B:They tried to do it themselves.
Speaker B:They tried to hide with the fig leaves and the fig tree.
Speaker B:And some people say that's why Jesus cursed it.
Speaker B:I don't know if that's true or not, but it's a cool thought.
Speaker B:Here's what's fascinating.
Speaker B:God said.
Speaker B:No, no, no.
Speaker B:I'll provide you clothing that will work.
Speaker D:I got a question.
Speaker B:Yes, sir.
Speaker B:Yes, sir.
Speaker D:What animal had to die for that?
Speaker D:Because that skin didn't come from nothing, right?
Speaker B:Correct.
Speaker B:And you know what?
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker B:All I know is if PETA was there, they would have been having a really bad time because I don't know what animal it was specifically, but it had to have skin, so it had to be something that could be something that's poured over them.
Speaker B:So excellent question.
Speaker B:Not totally knowable, because we don't have the insight.
Speaker B:There are some people that have guessed, but I would venture to say, as we've seen throughout society, some skins of animals work better as clothing than others.
Speaker B:So I might lean in those directions.
Speaker D:Well, let me share something with you that struck me lately about the word of the Almighty.
Speaker D:And that word has been presented to humanity in two forms.
Speaker D:One is A man from which we date history.
Speaker D:And the other is a book that stands apart from all other books.
Speaker D:Like that man stands apart from all other men.
Speaker B:Very good.
Speaker B:Very, very good.
Speaker B:Congratulations on that one.
Speaker B:That's an excellent.
Speaker B:That's an excellent process of thought.
Speaker B:Excellent.
Speaker B:Really good.
Speaker B:I like it.
Speaker B:Nice job.
Speaker B:Nice job on that.
Speaker B:Nice job on the phone call, my friend.
Speaker D:You know what hallelujah means, right?
Speaker B:Yes, sir.
Speaker B:Hallelujah, brother.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:All right, my brother.
Speaker D:Psalm 145.
Speaker D:I'd say that's the reason we're here, is to praise his name and to speak about his works in a way that shows people how valuable the truth is.
Speaker B:You know, it's amazing because part of that it's to sing his praise.
Speaker B:Isaiah 43:7.
Speaker B:We were created to bring glory to God.
Speaker B:I mean, it's all connected in this way that when we're enjoying him in heaven and we will be, it'll be such great enjoyment.
Speaker B:There'll be no sorrow, no anything that's bad on that.
Speaker B:It's just going to be the most phenomenal fellowship.
Speaker B:And what will we be doing?
Speaker B:Who knows?
Speaker B:But one thing that we know, it'll be awesome because it'll be something past what we can come up with.
Speaker D:Have you thought about the connection between supernatural and natural and spiritual versus carnal?
Speaker B:Well, I'm just deep, deep in the Romans.
Speaker B:That's deep into Romans.
Speaker B:The difference between carnal and spiritual.
Speaker B:So you could go with chapter three, four, five, six or seven.
Speaker B:And each one would apply.
Speaker D:Think about spiritual as being connective in terms of individuals connecting and carnal being that individual self centered.
Speaker B:I love it.
Speaker B:You know what that's even spoken of in Jude?
Speaker B:In Jude it says that those that don't have the spirit, that their premise is division with those who do have the spirit is the premise of unity.
Speaker B:Fascinating, right there.
Speaker B:Excellent.
Speaker B:Two excellent points.
Speaker B:Very good, sir.
Speaker B:Thank you, sir.
Speaker B:I appreciate it.
Speaker D:I'm at your service.
Speaker D:You have time for one more?
Speaker B:You know what?
Speaker B:We do have to exit.
Speaker B:We're on a hard break, but I would like you to call back in the future and make sure you have that ready for me and we can talk then.
Speaker D:Bye.
Speaker B:Is that good?
Speaker D:Yes.
Speaker D:Bye.
Speaker B:Okay, thank you, brother.
Speaker B:God bless you.
Speaker D:Shalom.
Speaker B:Shalom.
Speaker B:Shalom.
Speaker B:All right, folks, we're a little bit late.
Speaker B:We'll come to it now.
Speaker B:We'll take our short break then come back here.
Speaker B:You're listening to the David Smoot Experience right here on Kaam 770.
Speaker B:The true station here in Texas.
Speaker B:Don't go anywhere.
Speaker A:You may be from a Baptist background, a Pentecostal background, a non denominational background.
Speaker A:David Spoon has that too.
Speaker A:You may be from the Church of Christ Presbyterian Methodist Church of God or some other denomination, but if you're looking for a show that's Bible based, spirit led and a bit nutty, then give David a listen for a while.
Speaker A:If you like it, great.
Speaker A:If not, no worries.
Speaker A:The David Spoon Experience what is the David Spoon Experience?
Speaker B:Am I not saved?
Speaker B:Am I saved?
Speaker B:One day I'm not saved the next day?
Speaker B:Am I kind of saved?
Speaker B:Am I kind of not saved?
Speaker B:How come I don't feel saved?
Speaker B:I feel saved Now I don't feel saved.
Speaker B:And why are tacos going up?
Speaker B:Those are the questions you're asking.
Speaker B:Okay, so the horses go on these races, the Preakness, the Kentucky Derby, in the Belmount Stakes.
Speaker B:If they win, they get to then race in the Triple Clown.
Speaker B:And what the Triple Clown is, for those that don't know, it's the first horse to jack in the box.
Speaker A:The David Spoon Experience.
