02-25-2025 part 2: Paul's Heartfelt Plea: A Journey Through Romans
The primary focus of this podcast episode revolves around the profound and unyielding nature of God's love, as articulated in Romans 8:39, which asserts that nothing in existence can sever the bond between the believer and God's love. I delve into the transformative journey from separation to redemption, facilitated through the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ, and emphasize the significance of a relationship nurtured by the Holy Spirit. The discourse transitions into the upcoming exploration of Romans chapter nine, establishing a continuity that underscores the importance of Israel’s covenant and its relevance in the context of divine love. I express a heartfelt concern for those who remain distant from faith, highlighting the emotional turmoil that accompanies such reflections. Ultimately, we are reminded that the essence of our faith is rooted in the assurance that God's love remains steadfast, regardless of the heights or depths we may traverse.
A profound discourse ensues as we delve into the essence of God's unwavering love, particularly within the context of Romans 8:39. The speaker articulates the transformative power of this divine affection, emphasizing that no earthly circumstance, whether soaring heights or abyssal depths, can sever the bond between humanity and the creator. The discussion extends to the notion that human emotions and actions, regardless of their nature, do not diminish God's love for us. This exploration serves as a poignant reminder of the steadfastness of God's promises, encouraging listeners to reflect on their relationship with the divine. As the conversation progresses towards the subsequent chapter, Romans 9, the speaker posits that the foundation laid in the earlier chapters remains crucial in understanding the continuity of God's plans for Israel, affirming the importance of recognizing Israel's unique role in God's narrative of salvation. The speaker's insights compel us to embrace a profound understanding of God's love that transcends our human experiences, reinforcing the notion that His love is both an unchanging constant and a source of hope for all believers.
Takeaways:
- Dr. David Spoon emphasizes that God's love remains unwavering, regardless of human circumstances or emotional states.
- The concept of being separated from God's love is fundamentally flawed, as nothing can sever this divine connection.
- Paul's profound love and sorrow for his Jewish brethren illustrate the depth of his commitment to their salvation.
- The teaching underscores that there is no bargaining with God; His love and promises are immutable and eternal.
- Through the exploration of Romans, Dr. Spoon highlights the significance of Israel in God's redemptive plan and His enduring love for His chosen people.
- The episode reinforces the notion that redemption through Jesus is available to all, and no one is beyond the reach of God's grace.

And now for something completely different.
Speaker A:Here's what's coming up this hour on today's Experience.
Speaker A:It's totally terrific, totally transforming, totally triumphant Tuesday as we find unity from the Father, through the Son and by the Spirit, all for the glory of God Almighty.
Speaker A:Okay, so we're closing down Romans, chapter eight.
Speaker A:So we're just going to do a quick backup into verse 39.
Speaker A:It's hard to really imagine how deep and profound some of these verses are.
Speaker A:I just want to point this out.
Speaker A:As Paul laid out, mankind was separated from God, brought back to redemption through the work of Jesus Christ.
Speaker A:Through walking with the Holy Spirit, whose ministry is the current ministry of Jesus on the earth, we find a whole new life.
Speaker A:So verse 39, Paul says we are high above.
Speaker A:Whether that's high above in the sky or in the depth of the ocean.
Speaker A:He talks about two extremes being totally as high up as you can be high up in the sky or low as you can be.
Speaker A:And whether that's positionally, emotionally or your mindset, it doesn't matter because none of those things can separate you from God.
Speaker A:None of those things remove his love for you.
Speaker A:So we're going to fire into chapter nine.
Speaker A:We're going to see a whole new thread of thought coming in by the apostle.
Speaker A:But I want us to fully understand as we launch into chapter nine, it's based on chapter six, seven and eight, which is based on chapter four and five, which is based on chapter one, two and three.
Speaker A:Jesus demonstration of being willing to sacrifice himself on our behalf even when we were enemies is a testament to the unchanging and profound love that God has for us.
Speaker A:Nothing in the universe or in the universes can ever change that.
Speaker A:Not even the dumb things that you and I think say and do.
Speaker B:David Spoon's life has been an experience.
Speaker B:While growing up in a Jewish family, he made a wrong turn towards drug abuse.
Speaker B:Then David Spoon found Jesus Christ and his life completely changed.
Speaker B:The more he studied the gospel, the more he wanted to share his experiences with others.
Speaker B:After 35 years of ministry, David discovered a new path of service.
Speaker B:He he joined KAAM and this radio program began.
Speaker B:You're about to hear the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Welcome to the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Local, national and heavenly talk.
Speaker A:Here's what else we're looking at during the show.
Speaker A:Lessons for surviving living and prevailing politics, entertainment and current events, personal revelations, spiritual observations.
Speaker A:My life's insanity's an oy vey.
Speaker A:So much more.
Speaker A:Now it's not professional radio and as you know, yesterday we talked to the Secret Squirrel of professional radio and got that verified.
Speaker A:It's not professional, it's just radio.
Speaker A:That's all it is.
Speaker A:And so we're asking you, how are you doing?
Speaker A:What do you think?
Speaker A:How's it going?
Speaker A:What can we pray for you about?
Speaker A:What do you want to share what's going on in your life?
Speaker A:We want to keep that open for people so they have a place to go.
Speaker A:Yes, we support the other shows that talk much more on the political structure, much more on the prophetic structure, much more.
Speaker A:Different realms.
Speaker A:We get it, we're with it, we support it a hundredfold.
Speaker A:In fact, we give to some of those ministries.
Speaker A:The reality is in this show, we're geared towards just helping people move closer to the Lord, stretching out our arms and moving closer to Jesus and bringing as many people with us as we can.
Speaker A:Because more of Jesus is the best answer to everything, anywhere, anytime, whatever your situation is here.
Speaker A:Well, now there's more of God.
Speaker A:Is it better?
Speaker A:Of course.
Speaker A:So we're encouraging you to do that.
Speaker A:So a couple ways you can reach us.
Speaker A:You can send an email.
Speaker A:Davidemusincrease.org that's davidmusincreased.org you can text.
Speaker A:That's fun.
Speaker A:I think people like that.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:And when you call that number, wow.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Well, by golly, you'll end up talking to Jam and Jacob.
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker A:Talking to Jam and Jacob is like sharing a cheat meal on your diet with your favorite person.
Speaker C:Thank you, David.
Speaker C:Happy Tuesday.
Speaker A:Happy Tuesday.
Speaker A:Did you have a good diet on the weekend?
Speaker C:No sweets that I can think of, but Sunday night I did have some tamales and they were good.
Speaker A:Ah, that's pretty good right there.
Speaker A:Tamales, That's a good thing right there.
Speaker A:I'm not going to say how many treats we had, but many a treats we haveth.
Speaker A:It's the King James version, many a treatise.
Speaker A:Did we havethat on one day of our weekend.
Speaker A:I know that's not very wise, but I've been doing pretty good.
Speaker A:I've been on my same diet for two years, so I'm just going, going, going.
Speaker A:A little more weight to lose, as my wife says.
Speaker A:Well, if you get a little bit more air out of your head, you might be you know, a little lighter there.
Speaker A:Anyway, so I'm just working on it.
Speaker C:That's a good one.
Speaker A:I know she's a good zinger from time to time.
Speaker A:It's good.
Speaker A:It's a little irritating because I know the Lord's helping her in those.
Speaker A:It's like, wow, it's hard to win on those.
Speaker A:On those.
Speaker A:On those ones right there.
Speaker A:All right, so why would you send us an email?
Speaker A:Why would you text us?
Speaker A:Why would you call us?
Speaker A:Well, it could be for a praise report.
Speaker A:It could be for a prayer request.
Speaker A:It could be because there's just something you want to share that's on your heart.
Speaker A:Maybe you just, you know, everything's getting to you.
Speaker A:Maybe you just need a place to share.
Speaker A:I had a situation happened over the weekend that somebody I know was really concerned and was sharing some of their real struggles.
Speaker A:I won't mention what they are or anything like that.
Speaker A:And just thought that God was just going to blast them and blast them.
Speaker A:And it's like.
Speaker A:It was interesting because how the conversation went, it was more like God was extending mercy more than anything else.
Speaker A:And then it reminded me of when I was mad at the Lord unjustly.
Speaker A:I understand, but I still process because I'm still, you know, I'm justified.
Speaker A:But I'm working on the sanctification process.
Speaker A:And I was mad that I went through all my church difficulties with the church kind of turning out to be cultic.
Speaker A:And then when that pastor showed me how God was weeping for me because he never wanted pain in the first place, but allowed it, because that's a choice that mankind made.
Speaker A:And it showed me how I had imputed to God these absolutely atrocious images, that he was stingy and mean and cruel and just playing with my life.
Speaker A:You know, every one of those things, those are all accusations that Satan levels against God.
Speaker A:To Christians, God is the perfect father.
Speaker A:He's your Abba father.
Speaker A:He has never allowed one thing in your life that didn't have a beneficial purpose.
Speaker A:But because we don't trust his word, we don't stay in that very long.
Speaker A:And we need to.
Speaker A:We need to do a better job.
Speaker A:That's the truth.
Speaker A:So if you got something you want to share, you need prayer for or something like that, cool.
Speaker A:I mean, we're for it.
Speaker A:We support you in that.
Speaker A:We want to love people the best way we can.
Speaker A:We understand.
Speaker A:There's moments where it's crazy.
Speaker A:There's a lot of moments where it's crazy.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:All right, let's see you guys fill in the blank on this trivia question.
Speaker A:Fill in the blank from the Lord's Prayer.
Speaker A:Our Father, which art thou in heaven, Blank be thy name.
Speaker A:Our Father, who art thou in heaven, Blank be thy name.
Speaker A:Matthew 6.
Speaker A:9 Luke 11:2.
Speaker A:What is the answer to that?
Speaker A:Our Father, who art thou in heaven, Blank be thy name.
Speaker A:Matthew 6.
Speaker A:9 Luke 11:2.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A:And we don't think you will receive a mild shock.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Or you can send an email davidemustincrease.org Congratulations to Corey for getting the pow pow on that.
Speaker A:Very nice, Very nice.
Speaker A:Okay, so fill in the blank from the Lord's Prayer.
Speaker A:Our Father, which art thou in heaven, Blank be thy name.
Speaker A:What is that?
Speaker A:Matthew 6, 9, Luke 11, 2.
Speaker A:In the meantime, we'll do our DNA because we need to DNA.
Speaker A:D stands for Draw closer to the Lord daily.
Speaker A:Okay, so just use every day that ends in Y.
Speaker A:Use that.
Speaker A:That's daily.
Speaker A:And I love this that Jesus said this.
Speaker A:Our Father, art thou, Hallowed be the name.
Speaker A:Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done.
Speaker A:Give us this day.
Speaker A:What this day.
Speaker A:What this day?
Speaker A:Our daily bread.
Speaker A:Day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day, day.
Speaker A:And yes, I gave away the hint.
Speaker A:You guys should have caught that day.
Speaker A:Our daily bread.
Speaker A:Give us this day.
Speaker A:Our daily bread.
Speaker A:See how that works?
Speaker A:That's why we draw closer to the Lord daily.
Speaker A:What's in the scripture, or try the Sermon on the Mount.
Speaker A:And never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker A:Never be ashamed of what Jesus had to say.
Speaker A:And I promise you what is going on now.
Speaker A:I don't know if you've noticed this or not, but people who do not know Jesus are now telling people how to be Christians.
Speaker A:That is what's taking place in the media right now.
Speaker A:I don't know if you know that or not.
Speaker A:It's happening.
Speaker A:It's a groundswell.
Speaker A:They're going to tell people how to be Christians even though they don't know who Jesus is.
Speaker A:They're going to tell people because they're going to say, we do this in the name of the Lord, but they don't know the Lord.
Speaker A:And they're the ones that Jesus said in Matthew 7, 21 and 22, Depart from me.
Speaker A:I never knew you.
Speaker A:And they're going to tell you how to be A Christian, this is why you are never ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker A:You stand in the truth.
Speaker A:The truth doesn't change.
Speaker A:Their cultural approach changes.
Speaker A:God's truth never changes.
Speaker A:Never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker A:D Draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker A:And a always be ready.
Speaker C:To serve.
Speaker A:Always ready to serve.
Speaker A:Ready to respond for your king, for whatever he wants from you.
Speaker A:Maybe it's a prayer, maybe it's a moment.
Speaker A:Maybe it's a word.
Speaker A:Maybe it's a phone call, maybe it's a letter, maybe it's a pat on the back.
Speaker A:Maybe it's picking something up for somebody, maybe it's opening the door, I don't know.
Speaker A:But the only way to know is to be ready and say, here am I, Lord.
Speaker A:And to present ourselves before him.
Speaker A:It doesn't take a lot.
Speaker A:We did do this in the earlier show, so we're coming on six years.
Speaker A:In the first year and a half of the show, we did this thing.
Speaker A:It's open up your day, whatever you're doing, get yourself going, have a sip of coffee, look up to God and say, here am I whatever you want.
Speaker A:That's a great way to do your day.
Speaker A:Here am I whatever you want, Lord.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So d draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker A:A Always be ready to serve.
Speaker A:And by the way, when I brought that up about non Christians telling Christians how to be Christians, I hope there's a little part of the back of your neck stood up because that's like unbelievers and people that are directed by Satan telling Christians how to follow Jesus.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:We are called, especially in the book of Jude, to contend once and for all for the faith that was earnestly committed to us.
Speaker A:So, yeah, we're going to stand firm in that.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Okay, cool.
Speaker A:Your trivia question, which I already gave you the answer to, but I'm going to give you a chance to get back to it.
Speaker A:Fill in the blank from the Lord's Prayer.
Speaker A:Our Father, which art in heaven, blank be thy name.
Speaker A:What is that blank?
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:And I will start off with verse one and nine, but I first want to just cover this one thing.
Speaker A:Verse 39 of Romans 8 says this.
Speaker A:Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean.
Speaker A:Nothing in all creation will ever separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Speaker A:So there's a couple of cool things that I want you to pick.
Speaker A:We talked about this last week.
Speaker A:How not even time, things today, things tomorrow.
Speaker A:Nothing in time will change the love that God has for us.
Speaker A:Not our fears, not our worries, not our frustrations, not even ultimately our complaining.
Speaker A:Though that certainly opens us up to a quicker rebuke.
Speaker A:And the realization that nothing, nothing today, nothing tomorrow, encompassing all time, is pretty cool.
Speaker A:Then he says this.
Speaker A:He says, it doesn't matter if it's the powers of hell, they can't stop.
Speaker A:If Satan that could have stopped the love of Jesus, he would have done it already, but he can't.
Speaker A:And all those people that are devil worshipers are worshiping a devil that cannot do the things that God can do.
Speaker A:What a loser.
Speaker A:What a loser position that is for people that take because they're rooting for a being that's already lost.
Speaker A:That's not the underdog.
Speaker A:That's the one that's done.
Speaker A:There's nothing the enemy or any of us can do to stop the love of God.
Speaker A:That's in for you with you through Jesus.
Speaker A:Nothing can be done.
Speaker A:If the enemy could have done something, he would have done something.
Speaker A:But he can't.
Speaker A:He can't do anything.
Speaker A:And that's what we need to recognize.
Speaker A:Wait a minute.
Speaker A:Wait a minute.
Speaker A:Nothing.
Speaker A:And when it says, listen to this text, it doesn't matter if it's high above the sky or in the depth of the ocean.
Speaker A:What can you figure out by that phrase?
Speaker A:I want you to think for a second.
Speaker A:I really do.
Speaker A:I want you to think.
Speaker A:Think about high above the sky.
Speaker A:Just as high as you can think before you hit space.
Speaker A:Let's just say high above the sky.
Speaker A:Now I want you to think the other direction, okay?
Speaker A:And the other direction is the deepest part of the ocean.
Speaker A:So in between, high above the sky, in the deepest part of the ocean.
Speaker A:The biggest extremes that we can come up with, there is nothing that can separate us.
Speaker A:You can be emotionally, psychologically, you can have your mindset low, high, none of that even matter.
Speaker A:It will never change the love that God has for you.
Speaker A:No matter how high or low you go, no matter what the enemy throws at you, no matter what time throws at you, your love from God in Jesus is secure.
Speaker A:Period.
Speaker A:To not believe that is to not believe the gospel.
Speaker A:Ouch.
Speaker A:All right, what's that blank word we were Talking about, Father, who art thou in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Speaker A:Praise, glory, honor, thanksgiving, appreciation, respect, reverence.
Speaker A:Any and all of those would fit with the word hallowed be thy name.
Speaker A:We'll take a short break and then come back.
Speaker A:You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the truth station here in Texas.
Speaker A:Short break.
Speaker A:Don't go anywhere.
Speaker D:Have you ever wanted to get involved with a ministry that promotes Jesus Christ as Lord, but just don't know how?
Speaker D:Serving in ministry is a matter of devotion, time, and talent.
Speaker A:Talent?
Speaker D:Are you looking for a place to try and test the waters?
Speaker D:Do you want to get involved?
Speaker D:Come join the Ambassadors Initiative.
Speaker D:Be an ambassador for the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker D:It doesn't pay great.
Speaker D:Actually, it doesn't pay anything.
Speaker D:But the eternal benefits are out of this world.
Speaker D:Be a representative.
Speaker D:Why not?
Speaker D:It couldn't hurt.
Speaker D:Well, we hope not.
Speaker D:Anyway, you don't need to be a professionally qualified minister.
Speaker D:You need to have a pulse.
Speaker D:By that we mean you need to have a heart.
Speaker D:Just go to hemustincrease.org that's hemustincrease.org click on the three lines at the top right of the website and then click on the Ambassador's Initiative link.
Speaker D:Fill out the form and we will reach out to you.
Speaker D:Sorry, no parking tickets will be paid for you as an ambassador through this position.
Speaker B:What is the David spoon experience?
Speaker A:First Corinthians, chapter 11, verse 1.
Speaker A:Paul said, Follow me as I follow Christ.
Speaker A:What happens when he stops following Christ?
Speaker A:You stop following him.
Speaker A:And what about Second Corinthians 2:14?
Speaker A:Not that we rule over your faith.
Speaker A:Paul said what?
Speaker A:Not that we rule over your faith.
Speaker A:So this whole notion that there's this authority structure and that people have to obey because if they don't obey in every nuance, they are going to be zapped or whatever.
Speaker A:Ours was better.
Speaker A:You know what our story was?
Speaker A:Ken told the story about past congregations he had, about people who disobeyed him and spoke evil about them and how God killed them.
Speaker A:That's what he told us.
Speaker A:In fact, it was true that somebody out of the 110 people out of his three previous churches.
Speaker A:We'll just leave that there.
Speaker A:One person did die.
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker A:One out of 110.
Speaker A:They picked up a hitchhiker on their way to Flagstaff, Arizona.
Speaker A:Hey, I pastored in Flagstaff.
Speaker A:And the hitchhiker ended up killing the guy because the guy was a mental case.
Speaker A:But Ken used that after his church was closed 15 years later, saying, see what?
Speaker A:What?
Speaker A:But we were too dumb to know.
Speaker A:So now you have the same guy that told us how to attack a Christian leader telling us we can no longer attack Christian leaders unless he, the Anointed of God, gives us permission.
Speaker A:He's in charge and we can't challenge him or question him.
Speaker A:And oh, by the way, if we talk about the anointed or touch the prophets of God, God will kill us.
Speaker A:And he's him, so he's the one of the anointed, so we can't touch him.
Speaker A:Even though none of that is scriptural, none of that is right and all of that is wackadoodle.
Speaker A:On Christ the solid rock, I stand all other grounds.
Speaker A:Oh, welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Thank you for joining us here at Kaam 770, the truth station here in Texas.
Speaker A:That's K double amen.
Speaker A:770, the truth station here in Texas.
Speaker A:Here's your next trivia question.
Speaker A:In Esther Chapter 7, who met his death on the gallows he had built for another man named Mordecai?
Speaker A:In Esther Chapter 7, who met his death on the gallows he built for another man named Mordecai?
Speaker A:Esther 7, 9, 10.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Or you can send an email davidhemustincrease.org in Esther chapter 7, specifically verses 9 and 10, who met his death on the gallows he had built for another man named Mordecai.
Speaker A:That is the question.
Speaker A:I am going to go in prayer.
Speaker A:We want to pray for Keith Oakley.
Speaker A:He needs some prayer right now.
Speaker A:We're going to pray for him as well as for Rosalind and Robert and Angelina.
Speaker A:And I'm going to pray for my wife who's got a tad bit of a cold or a flu, which makes it a little challenging, especially when you're the manager and you have to be there no matter what.
Speaker A:So I'm going to pray for these people.
Speaker A:I'd like you to take your faith and stretch it out with mine.
Speaker A:Just be praying along with me.
Speaker A:Let's do it.
Speaker A:Father, we come before you right now and I thank you and praise you for all these people in my life, especially Noel, who I adore.
Speaker A:She's just a wonderful gift from you and I appreciate it.
Speaker A:And I pray that you would give her strength and power and rejuvenation and whatever she's got going on, flu, cold or whatever that you would just knock it out of her and let her just find vitality by the power of your spirit, in the name of Jesus, that she would be well.
Speaker A:Lord, we also want to lift up Angelina to you as well as Rosalind and Robert.
Speaker A:The situation has been very difficult for them.
Speaker A:And we are praying for wisdom for Rosalind and Robert, for grace and mercy on Angelina and help them in their circumstance.
Speaker A:And Lord, we pray for our brother Keith Oakley, and we ask in the name of Jesus that you would bring healing power and health him.
Speaker A:Lord, if you're drawing him closer to you, then just do so.
Speaker A:Let him have that grace.
Speaker A:But if not, Lord, bring healing and sustaining ability and grace and mercy into his mind, into his heart, into his body, and let your grace be in all of these homes.
Speaker A:We need your help.
Speaker A:We can't do this without you, Lord.
Speaker A:We need you to help us.
Speaker A:Please help us.
Speaker A:And we pray this.
Speaker A:We're not begging, we're believing and asking.
Speaker A:I'm praying this in the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:Amen and amen.
Speaker A:All right, your trivia question In Esther, Chapter 7, who met his death on the gallows he had built for another man named Mordecai?
Speaker A:Your reference, Esther.
Speaker A:7, 9, 10.
Speaker A:9, 10.
Speaker A:Don't forget to also be praying for people that are a part of us.
Speaker A:Don't forget to be praying for Jeanette.
Speaker A:She's going through things, and her daughter as well, and want their family to be blessed and other people that are struggling.
Speaker A:Don't forget about Papa.
Speaker A:Don't forget about all the people that we've talked about over time that need a touch in their body and a touch for their family.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:Okie dokie.
Speaker A:I want to go back into the text now because now we are in Romans chapter nine.
Speaker A:We actually finished Romans 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Speaker A:Nine is a very interesting shift in the book.
Speaker A:One through three, everybody's a sinner.
Speaker A:Four through five, God has the answer for sinners.
Speaker A:It's Jesus.
Speaker A:Six, seven, and eight.
Speaker A:We come through Jesus Christ.
Speaker A:The empowerment of the Spirit.
Speaker A:Guess what?
Speaker A:We can start doing well and walking upright.
Speaker A:9, 10, and 11.
Speaker A:Identity back to Israel.
Speaker A:Fascinating.
Speaker A:So here's what Paul writes under the leading of the Holy Spirit, under the verbal plenary process of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:Romans 9:1.
Speaker A:In the presence of Christ, I speak with utter truthfulness.
Speaker A:I do not lie.
Speaker A:And my conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm that what I am saying is true.
Speaker A:My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief for my people, my Jewish brothers and Sisters, have you had that time?
Speaker A:Have you had that moment?
Speaker A:Have you had that experience where you have somebody in your life and your heart breaks because they're not catching it in the Lord?
Speaker A:This could be parents, spouses, siblings, children, grandchildren.
Speaker A:It could be anything like that.
Speaker A:And what Paul is expressing is.
Speaker A:And this is where I go absolutely nutty, where people are like, paul was mean and he was this.
Speaker A:Could you read this and just see what he's crying out to?
Speaker A:He's like, I'm telling you this.
Speaker A:I'm not lying.
Speaker A:My conscience bears witness with me.
Speaker A:The Holy Spirit confirms what I'm saying.
Speaker A:My heart is broken.
Speaker A:I have this unending portion of grief walking in alongside of me because of my very own.
Speaker A:People are saying no to Jesus.
Speaker A:Do you ever feel that way?
Speaker A:Yeah, this is where we need to do a little bit better.
Speaker A:Instead of thinking that Paul is just a theologian, we need to remember he's a person.
Speaker A:And, yeah, he has this bigger pull for his people.
Speaker A:And ironically, as we go through 9, 10, and 11, we find out that there is going to be a covenant of Israel that is saved.
Speaker A:That's not going to change.
Speaker A:These next three chapters are fully devoted in that direction.
Speaker A:Israel was not absorbed to the point in the New Testament Church that they're not identified or there'd be no point in doing Romans 9, 10, and 11.
Speaker A:That's just kind of silly.
Speaker A:That doesn't mean they rule the roost, but it does mean they're a part of it.
Speaker A:So what I want people to catch is how Paul is experiencing the grief in his heart.
Speaker A:And it's not unusual and it's not bizarre and it's not weird for you to, like, gosh, I just wish these people would just get saved.
Speaker A:That just means that you're normal Christian, that you just long for people to get it.
Speaker A:And what's so sad for us, and it is sad to a degree, is that we get it.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Remember that bumper sticker, I found it.
Speaker A:Okay, we get it.
Speaker A:But we can't seem to communicate for those people so that they can get it.
Speaker A:And it breaks our heart because they're missing.
Speaker A:They're missing it.
Speaker A:And you want them to know, man, I got a sister.
Speaker A:That's not even close close.
Speaker A:Not even close.
Speaker A:It breaks my heart.
Speaker A:Is she going to be there?
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker A:I can't answer that.
Speaker A:I can only.
Speaker A:Like we talked about with surgery, I can only hope so.
Speaker A:I can only pray so that she makes that.
Speaker A:But it breaks my heart.
Speaker A:So I'm sad.
Speaker A:I don't sit there and Just dwell on that the whole time.
Speaker A:But that's a part of it.
Speaker A:And that's another thing we should bring up.
Speaker A:Paul doesn't sit there and say this same line for the rest of the book.
Speaker A:He's bummed about it, but he doesn't just get so absorbed in it.
Speaker A:He can't do anything.
Speaker A:He's still got stuff to do for the kingdom of God.
Speaker A:He still has a task in front of him.
Speaker A:He still has this set before him.
Speaker A:But he feels that pain.
Speaker A:And you do, too.
Speaker A:And I do too.
Speaker A:We all do.
Speaker A:You want people to get saved.
Speaker A:I agree.
Speaker A:There are some people that you're like, I hope that person doesn't make it.
Speaker A:We don't say that out loud.
Speaker A:We just think it in the back of our mind, as though God doesn't hear that.
Speaker A:That's pretty funny.
Speaker A:And there will probably be people there we didn't expect.
Speaker A:That's probably a pretty good bet.
Speaker A:But our heart breaks for those that are close to us, doesn't it?
Speaker A:That's all Paul saying.
Speaker A:He's saying that exact same thing.
Speaker A:But he still has stuff to do.
Speaker A:He still has stuff to do, right?
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:In Esther 7, who met his death on the gallows he built for another man named Mordechai.
Speaker A:And the answer is.
Speaker A:Heyman.
Speaker A:Heyman.
Speaker A:Hey, man.
Speaker A:Hey, man.
Speaker A:Hey, man.
Speaker A:Heyman.
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker A:That's who it is.
Speaker A:Okay, we'll take a short break and then come back.
Speaker A:You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam, 770, the truth station here in Texas.
Speaker A:Short break.
Speaker A:We'll be back.
Speaker A:Don't go anywhere.
Speaker E:Like any person searching for answers, I too have wondered about him.
Speaker E:He has a weird sense of humor.
Speaker E:If people are seeking wisdom and insight from the great teachers around the world, would they go to David?
Speaker E:No, I don't think so.
Speaker E:Those big ears really don't help.
Speaker E:Will people enjoy his perspective on culture, politics, food, sports, and local and national news?
Speaker E:I don't know.
Speaker E:He's just a client.
Speaker E:Tune in to the David Spoon Experience on kaam.
Speaker A:What is the David Spoon Experience?
Speaker F:When Joshua was trying to figure out the Lord and his decision for the Lord and he was doing pretty good and had good training, he made a decision to follow the Lord.
Speaker F:Then he made a decision that he wanted to really commit to devotions.
Speaker A:I told him I was proud of him for that.
Speaker F:That's his own decision.
Speaker F:He has to make that call.
Speaker F:Nobody can choose that.
Speaker F:You know, I was listening to something the other day, and this is one of the Most bizarre statements.
Speaker F:You're never going to hear a more bizarre statement.
Speaker A:I hope this gets on the radio.
Speaker F:You know, you can be born and raised Jewish, you can be born and raised Italian, you can be born and raised in many different things, but you can't be born a Christian.
Speaker F:Can't do it.
Speaker F:Because you have to make a decision for Jesus Christ.
Speaker F:There's no being born a Christian.
Speaker F:That doesn't work.
Speaker F:That's a lie.
Speaker F:You have to make a choice, an individual choice.
Speaker F:Your 15 generations of your family could be Christians when you're born.
Speaker F:That does not make you a Christian.
Speaker F:When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, that's when you become a Christian.
Speaker F:You understand that difference.
Speaker F:It was just something that dawned on me, like, you know, people don't talk that way.
Speaker A:Well, he was born in a Christian family.
Speaker F:That doesn't mean he's a Christian.
Speaker F:Plenty of murderers came out of Christian families.
Speaker A:That doesn't mean a thing.
Speaker F:That's nothing.
Speaker F:But anyway, going back to it, I had to share that because that's that thought that just really struck me as odd.
Speaker F:But the power of our words is so noticeable.
Speaker F:And Jesus says, hey, you know, I got one for you.
Speaker A:By your words, you're going to be justified.
Speaker F:By your words you're going to be condemned.
Speaker F:So my question to pose is why that's so forceful and brutal.
Speaker F:And the answer is in Matthew, chapter 15.
Speaker A:Matthew.
Speaker F:You guys like that one, huh?
Speaker A:Like that.
Speaker F:I could tell people I like that.
Speaker F:Matthew, chapter 15.
Speaker A:Here's the reason.
Speaker F: , Matthew: Speaker F:But the things that come out of.
Speaker A:The mouth.
Speaker F:Come from the heart.
Speaker F:And the reason that Jesus said, by your words you will be justified, and by your words you'll be condemned is because your words reveal what's in your heart.
Speaker A:And you will know.
Speaker A:You can listen to other people and know by their speech.
Speaker F:And I'm not even talking about coarse language.
Speaker A:I'm not talking about swearing.
Speaker F:I'm not talking about any of that.
Speaker F:I'm not even necessarily talking about negative speech.
Speaker F:I'm talking about you will know a.
Speaker A:Person'S heart by what they say.
Speaker A:The David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Thank you for joining us here at KAM 7, the Truth Station here in Texas.
Speaker A:That's K double Amen 770, the Truth Station here in Texas, where this next portion of teaching is going to be flooring a few people.
Speaker A:That's all I'm going to say to you real quickly, very nicely.
Speaker A:In the meantime, let's see if we can get this one correct.
Speaker A:How many chapters are in the book of Jonah?
Speaker A:1, 2, 3, or 4.
Speaker A:How many chapters are in the book of Jonah in The Old Testament?
Speaker A:1, 2, 3, or 4.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Leave it to Al to come up with all of them.
Speaker A:That was his answer for how many chapters are there?
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Additionally, you can send an email david@hemustincrease.org how many chapters are in the book of Jonah?
Speaker A:One, two, three, or four.
Speaker A:That's the question.
Speaker A:In the meantime to that, I'm going to send you up to the website.
Speaker A:I want to remind people that we have radio rent that is due on Friday and we do not have it yet.
Speaker A:Which is my way of saying, okay, people, I don't want to use manipulation.
Speaker A:I'm just making it as clear as we can be.
Speaker A:We exist off of the donations of our listeners and we would like to pay radio rent so we can keep doing the ministry.
Speaker A:There it is.
Speaker A:That makes perfect sense.
Speaker A:Check it out on our website so you can see if you want to give.
Speaker A:And if not, you can certainly pray for us.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:By the way, for everybody that does give.
Speaker A:Check it out on hemustincrease.org prayer request.
Speaker A:He mustincrease.org praise report looking to give to this ministry confused by what's happening right now.
Speaker A:He must increase.org he must increase.org as a duly designated representative of the city, I order you to cease any and all supernatural activity and return forthwith to your place of origin or to the nearest convenient parallel dimension.
Speaker A:Ah, there you go.
Speaker A:I have that for somebody.
Speaker A:I want to use that on.
Speaker A:Am I allowed to say that on the air?
Speaker A:Oh, okay.
Speaker A:I got to be careful.
Speaker A:I feel it would fit right in there.
Speaker A:Your trivia question.
Speaker A:Come on.
Speaker A:That's funny.
Speaker A:How many chapters in the book of Jonah?
Speaker A:1, 2, 3, or 4?
Speaker A:In the meantime, because I'm getting this really in depth teaching, we are going to do history and give you one more chance to answer a trivia question before I jump into it.
Speaker A:So let's do history.
Speaker A:Let's go.
Speaker A:Let's face.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:This is one of my favorite history days.
Speaker A:How about that?
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:Listen to this.
Speaker C:Wow.
Speaker A:Okay, this is a good one.
Speaker A:Ready?
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:National Chocolate Covered Peanuts Day.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker C:I mean, those are great.
Speaker A:Awesome.
Speaker A:Right now, I like the.
Speaker A:Noelle doesn't like this, but I like this.
Speaker A:National Clam Chowder Day.
Speaker A:Love clam chowder.
Speaker A:Sorry.
Speaker A:I just love it.
Speaker A:I don't know what it is.
Speaker C:I'll be on Noel's side.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:National Chili Day.
Speaker C:Love chili.
Speaker A:Love Chili.
Speaker A:National Toast Day.
Speaker C:A lot of food.
Speaker A:A lot of foods today, folks.
Speaker A:Come on.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A: Also: Speaker A:It actually reached number 16 on the charts.
Speaker A:Rubber Ducky, you're so fun.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Or you're the one.
Speaker A:You make bath time lots of fun.
Speaker A:That one right there.
Speaker A: All right, number two,: Speaker A:On this day, Happy Days debuted.
Speaker A:Happy Days.
Speaker A:That's the Fonz.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A: And then: Speaker A:Big day in history.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker A:Movies, shows, movies.
Speaker A:Got everything going there, right?
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:How many chapters in Jonah?
Speaker A:1, 2, 3, or 4?
Speaker A:That is the questions, my friend.
Speaker A:If you think you know the answer, you can reach out to us.
Speaker A:And you don't have to be afraid.
Speaker A:I won't attack.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:David, this next portion of scripture is going to highly irritate a few people.
Speaker A:I did not write this book.
Speaker A:I can read it.
Speaker A:I didn't write it.
Speaker A:God wrote it.
Speaker A:God created the universe.
Speaker A:He can write a book.
Speaker A:So let's just leave it there.
Speaker A:Here's what Paul says.
Speaker A:Amazingly, how many of us have done this?
Speaker A:I'm going to back it up to nine.
Speaker A:But then I'm going to stop right at verse three.
Speaker A:Here we go.
Speaker A:In the presence of God, I speak with utter truthfulness.
Speaker A:I do not lie.
Speaker A:And my conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm that what I am saying is true.
Speaker A:Stop right there.
Speaker A:Real quick note, your conscience is not the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:Just so you can understand.
Speaker A:Your conscience is God's built in preacher.
Speaker A:The built in preacher doesn't work as good when we fill our lives full of sin because we're making our conscience stupefied by sin.
Speaker A:But your conscience and the Holy Spirit, not the same.
Speaker A:Just telling you that right now.
Speaker A:Can't change that.
Speaker A:No changing that.
Speaker A:Your conscience is not God.
Speaker A:Just that simple.
Speaker A:The Holy Spirit is God.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:Now he says this.
Speaker A:My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters.
Speaker A:He's telling it like it is.
Speaker A:Can't get to them.
Speaker A:Wants to get to them.
Speaker A:Wants them to get saved.
Speaker A:And he says this, and I've said this, and everybody I know has said this to some degree.
Speaker A:He says, I would be willing to be forever cursed, cut off from Christ if that would save them.
Speaker A:Did you hear that?
Speaker A:The apostle Paul, totally in fellowship with the Lord, totally in sync, says, I would be willing to cut off, cursed, forever cut off from Jesus if that would save them.
Speaker A:Let me explain to you.
Speaker A:This is Romans 9:1, 2, 3, as well as chapter four is what we're going to get into.
Speaker A:Let me explain to you what Paul is saying.
Speaker A:I could be cut off from Christ for the sake of my brethren.
Speaker A:That's, I think, the King James translation.
Speaker A:You know what he's saying.
Speaker A:If I could replace myself for them and they could get saved and I would be lost, I would do it.
Speaker A:I want to make sure you understand something about God and about how we try to deal with God.
Speaker A:There is no replacement.
Speaker A:Theology.
Speaker A:Oh, put that burden on me and they won't have to bear it.
Speaker A:Theology.
Speaker A:Do you ever do the I want to trade places, I'll take it on.
Speaker A:Do you know how many times in my life I said, you can take me, I already believe.
Speaker A:Just let them become believers.
Speaker A:Yeah, done it a hundred times, if not a thousand times.
Speaker A:I know, but it doesn't work that way.
Speaker A:The kingdom of God doesn't operate by you and I saying, I'll trade in this marker and then I'll just be saved.
Speaker A:And then you could give my marker to these people.
Speaker A:And Paul, he's not saying this is a theological truth.
Speaker A:He's just saying, I wish he.
Speaker A:Wish he could do it.
Speaker A:I'd be willing to be forever cursed off, cut off from Christ.
Speaker A:He's not going to stop believing in Jesus.
Speaker A:He's just making the same conversational moment that we have with God.
Speaker A:Oh, whatever it takes, Lord, even if you have to take me.
Speaker A:Haven't you done it?
Speaker A:I've had kids in the hospital room that we weren't sure were going to make it.
Speaker A:Of course I made that deal.
Speaker A:But God doesn't pay attention to that.
Speaker A:Of course I made that offer.
Speaker A:The Lord doesn't like, we're going to trick God.
Speaker A:I'm going to be cursed off from Jesus.
Speaker A:I'm just going to stop believing.
Speaker A:Okay, well, not really, but that's not the point.
Speaker A:The point is we're trying to wheel and deal with God.
Speaker A:It's like, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker A:That's not gonna happen that way.
Speaker A:God's not gonna take it out on Paul and then all Israel's gonna be Fine.
Speaker A:That's not how it's gonna happen.
Speaker A:God's not gonna take it out on you.
Speaker A:And your wayward child will be fine.
Speaker A:It ain't gonna happen that way.
Speaker A:That's not how it happens.
Speaker A:It's the truth that makes the penetration into their heart and mind that they need to receive, accept, acknowledge, surrender, to yield, to change in.
Speaker A:And it's not gonna be you saying, I'll give up a toe.
Speaker A:That's not how it works.
Speaker A:That's not how the kingdom of God works for us.
Speaker A:We can't offer.
Speaker A:You know who can offer to give himself up for them?
Speaker A:Jesus.
Speaker A:And he's the only one, because he's the only one who's righteous.
Speaker A:Like, yikes, you might want to have a magnanimity, magnanimous moment.
Speaker A:You want to have those.
Speaker A:Whatever.
Speaker A:I can't even say the word I have that.
Speaker A:I've had that happen so many times.
Speaker A:I tell Lord, I'll do this for them.
Speaker A:I'll do this.
Speaker A:And I'm totally sincere, totally honest.
Speaker A:And it's totally not answered because it's totally not happening that way.
Speaker A:Jesus is the propitiation, the sacrifice.
Speaker A:None of us else, nothing else from any of us.
Speaker A:Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
Speaker A:And no man comes to the Father but by him, magnanimous or not.
Speaker A:That's just not going to matter.
Speaker A:It doesn't work that way, Paul.
Speaker A:Sharing in Romans 9:1.
Speaker A:I'm telling you the truth.
Speaker A:My conscience and the Holy Spirit are confirming this.
Speaker A:My heart's filled with sorrow for my Jewish brethren.
Speaker A:I wish I could be accursed from Christ for their sake.
Speaker A:But you can't.
Speaker A:And that's the truth.
Speaker A:No willing and dealing with God at that level.
Speaker A:It doesn't work that way.
Speaker A:I know you think you should be able to, but it doesn't.
Speaker A:That's just truth.
Speaker A:And we need to acknowledge that only Jesus is the sacrifice that works in replacement only Him.
Speaker A:Okay, all right.
Speaker A:How many chapters are in Jonah?
Speaker A:Is it 1, 2, 3, or 4?
Speaker A:And the answer is 4.
Speaker A:There's 4 chapters.
Speaker A:Although I do like Al's statement.
Speaker A:All of them.
Speaker A:That is a pretty good answer.
Speaker A:All right, we'll take a short break, then come back.
Speaker A:You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the truce station here in Texas.
Speaker A:Short break, we'll be back.
Speaker A:Don't go anywhere.
Speaker A:The David spoon experience, verse 39.
Speaker A:When they came up out of the water, the spirit of the Lord caught Philip away.
Speaker A:The eunuch never saw him again.
Speaker A:But Went on his way, rejoicing.
Speaker A:Verse 40.
Speaker A:Meanwhile, Philip found himself farther north at the city of Azotus.
Speaker A:He preached the good news there and in every city along the way until he came to Caesarea.
Speaker A:He was in Caesarea, by the way, for 20 years, which explains why he had the daughters.
Speaker A:But here's what I want you to catch.
Speaker A:While he was en route, he landed in Zodus.
Speaker A:However he got from point A to point B is amazing.
Speaker A:We don't even know.
Speaker A:But what he did was he preached the Gospel in every city along the way until he came to his destination.
Speaker A:And if you cannot recognize that is a testimony from God saying, you take the Gospel wherever you go until you reach your destination, which is either you being called up to the Lord personally, corporately, or however it's going to take place.
Speaker A:Every place we go, everywhere we are, we take the Gospel.
Speaker A:That does not mean you grab a, you know, microphone.
Speaker A:It does not mean you grab some kind of horn, bullhorn, and scream at people with the gospel.
Speaker A:You just make sure that you are sensitive.
Speaker A:That's the very DNA we talk about all the time.
Speaker A:You're sensitive to the Lord.
Speaker A:You taking the Gospel with you wherever you go, you're recognizing that wherever you go, you might have a one time encounter with somebody and they might make a decision for Jesus just based on that encounter.
Speaker A:Noel and I had that exact thing happen on our way from San Diego to Rockwell to Fate, and we met somebody from a hotel that we were at and talked to them one time and prayed with her and she became a Christian and we never saw her again.
Speaker A:It's not our call.
Speaker A:It's up to the Lord.
Speaker A:Just be available.
Speaker A:You don't have to be.
Speaker A:That's the word I'm looking for.
Speaker A:You don't have to be Billy Graham.
Speaker A:Like I said, Billy Graham wasn't Billy Graham.
Speaker A:In other words, just be yourself, be available.
Speaker A:You never know what the Lord will do and how he'll use that.
Speaker A:Okay, that's what's so cool about this test.
Speaker A:Now we finished up to chapter eight.
Speaker A:Now Acts, chapter nine.
Speaker A:We're going into Saul.
Speaker A:And that is some serious stuff.
Speaker A:Here is the trivia question.
Speaker A:What was the affliction of the woman who was touched, who touched the hem of Jesus's robe and she had an issue with bleeding, an issue of blood for quite some time, as we know, 12 years.
Speaker A:The issue of blood, that is what she sought the Lord for.
Speaker A:And she touched him and then Jesus healed her physically, socially, psychologically and emotionally.
Speaker A:All together at one time isn't that cool?
Speaker A:Jesus is cool.
Speaker A:Welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Thank you for joining us here at Kaam.
Speaker A:Spoon 770, the truth station here in Texas.
Speaker A:That's K double amen.
Speaker A:770, the truth station here in Texas, where our last trivia question is coming in your direction.
Speaker A:Is this statement true or false?
Speaker A:Justin is a name in the Bible.
Speaker A:True or false?
Speaker A:Justin is a name in the Bible.
Speaker A:True or false?
Speaker A:If you think you know the answer.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Or send an email davidmustincrease.org True or false?
Speaker A:Justin is one of the names in the Bible.
Speaker A:Is that true or false?
Speaker A:In the meantime, I've got a couple of jokes that I'm going to fire in your direction, so I hope you're ready for this.
Speaker A:Two are really good.
Speaker A:One is not as.
Speaker A:Here we go.
Speaker A:Why do you think Jonah could not trust the oceans?
Speaker A:Why do you think Jonah could not trust the ocean?
Speaker A:Because he knew there was something fishy in it.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:Come on, now.
Speaker A:All right, now here's a great one.
Speaker A:How do we know that God has a sense of humor?
Speaker A:How do we know that God has a sense of humor?
Speaker A:Because with Adam, he could take a ribbon.
Speaker A:Get it?
Speaker A:Take a rib.
Speaker A:Take a rib.
Speaker A:What time was it when the hippopotamus sat on Noah's rocking chair?
Speaker A:What time was it when the hippopotamus sat on Noah's rocking chair?
Speaker A:Ready?
Speaker A:Time to get a new chair.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker A:Come on.
Speaker A:Oh, come on.
Speaker A:I thought the rib one was good.
Speaker A:All right, anyway.
Speaker A:What'd you think?
Speaker C:You're childish.
Speaker A:Okay, you know, you know, here's the thing, folks.
Speaker C:There was a couple good ones, though.
Speaker A:There's a couple good ones.
Speaker A:You take that.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker C:Which.
Speaker C:Which one was the not so good?
Speaker C:That's.
Speaker A:Well, I thought the first one wasn't as good as the other two, but you thought the second one was not as good.
Speaker A:So I always think that it's funny because we always have different opinions on.
Speaker C:Right, Right.
Speaker A:Things like that.
Speaker A:Which I think is funny.
Speaker A:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:But that's okay.
Speaker A:All right, all right, here we go.
Speaker A:Your question.
Speaker A:True or false?
Speaker A:Justin is a name in the Bible.
Speaker A:True or false?
Speaker A:If you think you know the answer, you've got limited time to answer.
Speaker A:Everybody's kind of afraid to call Today, I can tell.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A:And the entire element that we've really focused on and spent a lot of time on is how God loves us.
Speaker A:Can we all agree that there's no changing that?
Speaker A:If you go back to chapter eight, go to 30, verse 35, 36, 37, 38, 39.
Speaker A:Through that.
Speaker A:God loves us.
Speaker A:We can't be separated from the love of God.
Speaker A:God loves us.
Speaker A:God loves us.
Speaker A:God loves us.
Speaker A:God loves us.
Speaker A:And I want you to understand that because that's the buildup that we're coming into chapter nine.
Speaker A:And I want to say something theologically is going to irritate some people.
Speaker A:It doesn't matter.
Speaker A:This is just what it says.
Speaker A:It says this in verse four, after he says, in the presence of Christ, I speak with utter truthfulness.
Speaker A:I do not lie.
Speaker A:And my conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm that what I'm saying is true.
Speaker A:My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters.
Speaker A:I'd be willing to be forever cursed, cut off from Christ if that would save them.
Speaker A:They are the people of Israel, the chosen to be God's special people.
Speaker A:And God revealed his glory to them.
Speaker A:Ah, ah.
Speaker A:Listen.
Speaker A:It doesn't matter whether your particular eschatology works into the system or not.
Speaker A:This we know for sure.
Speaker A:God's love is faithful and enduring.
Speaker A:And if Israel are a special people chosen by God, special children of God whom God has revealed his glory, did God's love then stop for Israel?
Speaker A:That would seem to be highly out of context.
Speaker A:So when people are saying certain things about Israel is diminished, they don't exist anymore.
Speaker A:I want to make sure you understand that from a scriptural point of view.
Speaker A:He's making this special mention of Israel in verse four, and he's saying they are the people of God chosen to be God's special children and revealed his glory to them.
Speaker A:Israel is highly honored in both the Old and the New Testament.
Speaker A:So to think they're no longer a part of the issue is genuinely foolish hermeneutical scriptural processes.
Speaker A:The people who believe that they're just greatly mistaken.
Speaker A:It doesn't mean that they hate God or they hate Israel.
Speaker A:They're just mistaken.
Speaker A:They don't know the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
Speaker A:God hasn't gone up.
Speaker A:Forget Israel's gone.
Speaker A:Goodbye.
Speaker A:In fact, there's a better argument to say that the remnant from Israel and the church merge into the new Israel.
Speaker A:That's a better argument theologically.
Speaker A:But God didn't stop loving Israel.
Speaker A:He sent Jesus to save Israel.
Speaker A:Yeah, the religious leaders and the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the teachers, not so great, right?
Speaker A:But that doesn't mean God abandoned all the people of Israel.
Speaker A:And again, I'm just saying this now.
Speaker A:I don't care if you're premillennial.
Speaker A:All millennial post millennial.
Speaker A:That doesn't have any bearing on God.
Speaker A:Loving Israel.
Speaker A:Doesn't matter.
Speaker A:Of course he loves Israel.
Speaker A:Of course he protects Israel.
Speaker A:Of course he watches out for.
Speaker A:Of course.
Speaker A:And Israel highly honored big mistakes with the Messiah, right?
Speaker A:Not the people, the leadership.
Speaker A:The people said yes, didn't they?
Speaker A:That's why in the early church, it was all Jewish Christians.
Speaker A:Get it, It's a new Israel.
Speaker A:Okay, I can go into that.
Speaker A:That's fine.
Speaker A:But to say it dissipates, that's just weird, right?
Speaker A:Israel, the people of God chosen to be special children of the most high God that God has revealed his glory to.
Speaker A:Let me just point this out.
Speaker A:Last time, our boss is a Jewish carpenter.
Speaker A:Yeah, okay, that'll solve that.
Speaker A:All right, our time is pretty much gone, so I want to answer the trivia question.
Speaker A:Is in fact Justin a name in the Bible?
Speaker A:Is that true or false?
Speaker A:It is false.
Speaker A:Justin is not a name in the Bible.
Speaker A:But it would be a fascinating name if your last name was incredible, because then your name would be Justin Credible.
Speaker A:Get it?
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker A:All right, folks, you've been listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the truth station here in Texas.
Speaker A:22 and a half hour break, then we'll come back, More Insanity with Spoonanity.
Speaker A:Talk to you.
Speaker A:Then I will lay me down in peace and sleep for you have made me safe.
Speaker B:The views expressed in the preceding program were those of the speakers and not necessarily those of kaam, DJRD Broadcasting or its sponsors.
