The David Spoon Experience 5-16-23 Part 1
A) If you cling to your life: I love this translation because it clarifies what people are doing to “save their lives.” This isn’t about dodging dark allies and avoiding certain ghettos. This is about hanging on to what WE have built. If that is more important than the Kingdom of God, we are missing it.
B) Welcome’s you, welcome’s Me. Welcomes Me, welcomes the Father: Here is an interesting element of truth. The Father, Jesus, and all of us are becoming one. This is referenced in John 17:20-23, My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity.
C) Water, to the least, is the coolest way to say be nice to people in the body. Even if you disagree about eschatology, be nice. How you treat others in the body directly impacts Divine responses and rewards.
