The David Spoon Experience 3-14-24 part 2

1) Interestingly, the Pharisees came to Paul's defense. They stood by the possibility that an angel or some form of spirit could have spoken to Paul and that Paul was responding to that. They were so committed to their beliefs that they started shouting in favor of Paul and against the Sadducees, ironically pulling Paul from both sides. The enemy of mt enemy is my friend? Not always. Psalm 41:9 > Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me.

2) When passion is out of control and human fervor becomes the authority, problems often arise. The commander could tell they were going to rip Paul in half, so intervening was his only course of action to maintain order. Not a great look for a person.
