Nimrod: From Mighty Hunter to Modern Insult

Today's discussion revolves around the powerful biblical figure Nimrod, a mighty hunter revered in the Lord's sight, whose legacy has been ironically twisted into an insult in modern language. Dr. David Spoon delves into the genealogies of Genesis, particularly focusing on the descendants of Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and emphasizes how society often perverts what is honorable. The episode also touches on the importance of understanding the significance of biblical figures and the lessons they impart. Additionally, David shares personal stories and encourages listeners to engage in prayer, reflecting on the transformative power of faith. The conversation highlights the need for discernment in a world where good is often called evil and vice versa, urging listeners to stand firm in their beliefs.

Delving into the genealogies of Genesis 10, the David Spoon Experience unfolds the narratives surrounding Shem, Ham, and Japheth, while placing a notable emphasis on the enigmatic figure of Nimrod. Initially, Nimrod is depicted as a powerful warrior and hunter, a figure whose name once commanded respect and admiration. However, Dr. Spoon highlights how time has altered this perception, transforming Nimrod into a term of insult in modern vernacular. This shift serves as a profound metaphor for the way society often distorts historical narratives, stripping them of their original dignity and significance.

Dr. Spoon masterfully intertwines this biblical account with contemporary issues, urging listeners to recognize the implications of how cultures redefine honor and truth. He references Isaiah 5:20, illustrating the dangers of calling good evil and evil good, a theme that resonates strongly in today’s moral landscape. The program encourages believers to seek a deeper understanding of biblical teachings and to remain steadfast in their faith, despite societal pressures that may lead to confusion or compromise. Through rich theological insights and personal anecdotes, the episode invites listeners to reflect on the importance of holding onto the truths of scripture in a world rife with shifting values.

The interactive format of the show allows for listener engagement, with trivia and prayer requests woven into the discussion. Dr. Spoon’s approachable demeanor makes complex theological concepts accessible, fostering a sense of community among listeners. The episode concludes with heartfelt prayers for healing and understanding, reinforcing the belief that God’s truth and grace are as relevant today as they were in biblical times. This exploration of Nimrod’s legacy not only educates but also inspires listeners to ponder their own faith journeys and the broader implications of their beliefs in a changing world.

And now for something completely different.

Host:

Here's what's coming up this hour on Today's Experience.

Host:

It's marvelous, monumental, most fascinating, massively mind bending Monday as we join our hearts and minds as one, drawing closer to the king of kings and glorifying his name.

Host:

First, we jump back into our teachings, picking it up at Genesis chapter 10.

Host:

So today's lesson.

Host:

I don't do this often, but I'm going to do it today.

Host:

Today's lesson is going to cover the whole chapter in one sitting because we're covering the history of Shem, Ham and Japheth.

Host:

So in respect to the genealogies, I'm only going to select a few key points simply because we could spend a year going through this material person by person, and I don't want to do that.

Host:

Next, we'll review the descendants of Ham and descendants.

Host:

One descendant stands out above all the rest.

Host:

The ultimate irony is how powerful this individual was and how impressive he was to the world.

Host:

Wait, wait.

Host:

And to the heavens.

Host:

But now he's become a word of insult.

Host:

Nimrod was a mighty warrior before the Lord.

Host:

He was so powerful, his name actually became a proverb, which ironically might be understood as the actual first proverb.

Host:

What?

Host:

Finally, the importance of understanding what took place with Nimrod is essential to understanding biblical truth.

Host:

People take what is honored and honorable and turn it into rubbish.

Host:

That's from Isaiah 5:20.

Host:

The exact same person.

Host:

People turn the rubbish into gold.

Host:

What that means is they're putting light for darkness and darkness for light.

Host:

Take a look around, folks.

Host:

It's happening every day and all around us.

David Spoon:

David Spoon's life has been an experience.

David Spoon:

While growing up in a Jewish family, he made a wrong turn towards drug abuse.

David Spoon:

Then David Spoon found Jesus Christ and his life completely changed.

David Spoon:

The more he studied the gospel, the more he wanted to share his experiences with others.

David Spoon:

After 35 years of ministry, David discovered a new path of service.

David Spoon:

He joined KAM and this radio program began.

David Spoon:

You're about to hear the David Spoon Experience.

Host:

Welcome to the David Spoon Experience.

Host:

Local, national and heavenly talk.

Host:

Here's what else we're looking at during the show.

Host:

Lessons for surviving, living and prevailing politics, entertainment and current events.

Host:

And yes, we know that tomorrow is a big day for politics.

Host:

And we encourage you to participate and make sure not to tell you who to vote for, but who to vote with.

Host:

Hello.

Host:

Personal revelations, spiritual observations, my life's insanities.

Host:

No way.

Host:

So much more.

Host:

Now, this is not going to be a tough one because I'm about to tell you that this is not professional radio.

Host:

So in lieu of the eventual Jake's take, we will talk to the side judge of professional radio.

Host:

That's right, the side judge of professional radio, our very own Jam and Jacob.

Host:

Jammin Jacob as the side judge.

Host:

Little football nudge there.

Host:

Is this the David Smith experience professional radio?

Jacob:

No, it is not, David.

Host:

It is not.

Host:

And there is nobody who's going to intercept on that.

Host:

Get what I'm saying?

Host:

Okay.

Host:

Do you like that?

Host:

A little bit of football lingo in there as we're getting it going.

Host:

Okay.

Jacob:

Hey, listen, you're clever, David.

Jacob:

Very clever.

Host:

Wait, wait.

Host:

Least I didn't go, hey, let's set up a plan.

Host:

What's our plan?

Host:

Let's do a pick six play anyway.

Host:

Let's just move on from there.

Host:

Bottom line is simply this.

Host:

It's just radio, but it's fun.

Host:

And we're asking you, what do you think?

Host:

So you can email us David must increase.org that's David must increase dot org.

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

Or you can call us.

Host:

It's fun to call and we don't think it'll cost you any kind of grief that we know of.

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

David Spoon:

Num.

David Spoon:

Rice Crispy.

David Spoon:

We ran out of Rice Krispies.

David Spoon:

My tears were not.

Host:

That's right.

Host:

His tears will not stop.

Host:

Anyway, talking to Jam and Jacob is like knowing your spiritual radio family has your back.

Jacob:

Aw, thank you, David.

Jacob:

Happy Monday.

Jacob:

And talking to you is like not running out of Rice Krispies.

Host:

That's a good one, brother.

Host:

That's a good one.

Host:

We're gonna do our Jake's take.

Host:

Probably not in this first segment.

Host:

In the next grouping of time, I don't know what you call these things.

Host:

We call them segments, periods.

Host:

Who knows?

Host:

Bottom line is simply this.

Host:

Look, if you want to reach out to us and you've got a prayer request, just bring it.

Host:

Let's pray.

Host:

Don't you know that God loves to manifest his kingdom in the lives of his kids?

Host:

But most of the time when we pray, we either offer little faith or we come to the Lord thinking, I don't know if I can pry this out of his hands with all these really Warped images of God.

Host:

Or we think, why don't we have faith?

Host:

God does miracles.

Host:

Let's see it, let's believe it, let's live it.

Host:

So if you got something you need prayer for, don't hesitate.

Host:

If you got a praise report, something the Lord has done for you, you think, well, I don't know because it was just done for me.

Host:

I'm sorry.

Host:

Are you denying that God did that for you?

Host:

Are you denying that to God?

Host:

Share it with your brothers and sisters.

Host:

They'll rejoice with you.

Host:

Maybe you've got a scripture you want to share.

Host:

Maybe you got something that's on your mind, you just want to kind of share it and kind of connect.

Host:

Maybe you've got even possibly an answer to Bible trivia.

Host:

Ooh, a tough one to start.

Host:

Uh oh.

Host:

All on Job again.

Host:

What kind of disease struck Job?

Host:

Job, Chapter two, verse seven.

Host:

What kind of dis.

Host:

Ease.

Host:

Dis Ease.

Host:

What kind of disease struck Job?

Host:

Job, chapter two, verse seven is specifically the disease he was struck with.

Host:

If you think you know, you can reach out to us.

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

But when we started this show, I think Jam and Jacob can testify, we started the show on the dot.

Host:

There was no working Internet was there at that time, where it was just like nothing was working at 129 and 55 seconds.

Host:

Zero.

Host:

Right.

Host:

Was there anything working at that time at all?

Host:

I mean, that we were aware of?

Host:

Because we didn't think it was working.

Jacob:

I don't think so.

Jacob:

Yeah, I don't think we were on the air as far as.

Jacob:

Because I know not long before the show, we were checking on your phone and yeah, nothing was playing through.

Jacob:

And we saw something else on the website.

Host:

So now after what, a couple of minutes, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, then it went back on.

Jacob:

Yeah.

Jacob:

When we started, our engineer Brian walked in, he said, hey, it's playing through the website again.

Jacob:

So I checked on my phone and yeah, it's playing again.

Host:

Praise the Lord for just those little.

Host:

I know people are like, well, that's just a coincidence.

Host:

You know, I'm really amazed how many times I pray and get coincidences that happen.

Host:

It's amazing that I don't pray as much and don't see as many.

Host:

But when I do pray, I see a lot more.

Host:

Hello?

Host:

Oh, that's Grace.

Host:

We'll take it.

Host:

Right.

Host:

Very cool.

Host:

Right.

Host:

Okay, back to the trivia question.

Host:

We have somebody ready to answer the trivia question.

Host:

Let's send them on through.

Host:

Knock, knock.

Host:

This is David.

Host:

Who am I talking to?

Fred:

Hi, Dr.

Fred:

Spohn.

Fred:

How are you today, sir?

Host:

I'm doing great, Fred.

Host:

How are you doing?

Fred:

I'm doing fine.

Host:

All right.

Host:

Are you ready for this one?

Fred:

I think so.

Host:

Okay.

Host:

I have confidence in you, brother.

Host:

I have absolute confidence in you.

Host:

Here we go.

Host:

What kind of disease?

Host:

According to Job, chapter two, verse seven.

Host:

What kind of disease struck Job?

Fred:

I'm going to ask you a question, but I want you to.

Fred:

I'm going to hang up the phone after I finish and I want you to address two questions that I have for you.

Fred:

The answer to your question is bowls and my.

Fred:

Let me let you do what you need to do on that.

Host:

Okay.

Host:

And then, and then, and then.

Host:

Is there anything else you wanted to ask me?

Fred:

And the two questions that I have for you, is that in your teaching, because you're well taught.

Fred:

Can you explain in detail about what you have been taught about what these boys actually look like?

Fred:

And also, some people don't count sickness as a part of your trials.

Fred:

Can you address those two issues and I'll hang up and listen.

Host:

Okay, first of all, I'm gonna do the second one first because I feel it's warranted.

Host:

And then I'll plead not so smart on the first one.

Host:

Okay?

Host:

All right.

Host:

Love you, brother.

Host:

All right.

Host:

All right.

Host:

So what we definitely know, instead of trying to make this like something that it's not, which I don't know why people do this.

Host:

What we definitely know is that Job was struck with boils from the top to the bottom, just like all over the place.

Host:

Right?

Host:

So there is some.

Host:

There's some teachings that talk about these boils manifest a certain element.

Host:

Some people think they were boils.

Host:

And I will.

Host:

I'm trying to be careful not to gross people out, especially because people are still close to lunch.

Host:

But you know that they were like these red with pus filled elements on the inside.

Host:

They were all over his body.

Host:

And I will confess that as learned as I am from moment to moment, which of course, I know much more about ice cream than I do anything else, these were just really harsh type of kind of mump, kind of boils or breakouts on his skin.

Host:

I don't have a better thing to give you on that, Fred, because I just, I don't know and I don't want to speak out unknowing, but I want to address your second question because that's entirely different.

Host:

And theologically right in the zone, these boils in fact were specifically directly connected to spiritual warfare and the enemy attacking specifically.

Host:

And by the way, if you even for a second think they weren't, then you've just not read it.

Host:

And by the way, even Jesus talking about the woman who was bent over for 18 years and Jesus said, shouldn't we release this woman from this bondage that Satan has put her into.

Host:

There's no question that there are times where illness and sickness have demonic origins.

Host:

That does not mean every single sickness is, but it does mean some sicknesses are.

Host:

And some sicknesses require a certain style of prayer.

Host:

When somebody, the gentleman was deaf and mute, Jesus did the spit in the ear and then he touched his tongue.

Host:

That doesn't appear to have the same element that the young boy had who was going in fits throwing himself in the water and in the fire and, and then Jesus cast that spirit out.

Host:

There are times where the illness is demonic in origin.

Host:

And you think, well, how does that work?

Host:

Excellent theological question.

Host:

I wish I could have a whole panel here.

Host:

Cause you'd probably have 10 really solid answers.

Host:

What we know for sure is because sin entered the world, disease entered the world with it.

Host:

What we know for sure is that Satan took advantage of man and then because of that advantage has taken a principality position on the earth.

Host:

And while Jesus has all authority over him, he's not been stripped of all of that yet.

Host:

Satan has.

Host:

Not yet.

Host:

Because there's still death and there's still disease and there are still some of these darker things.

Host:

That's just the truth.

Host:

But don't misunderstand.

Host:

There are times where an illness can be directly related to demonic attack.

Host:

Is that every illness?

Host:

No, I don't believe that's accurate.

Host:

I don't believe Scripture shows that.

Host:

To give you a perfect example on that, when Timothy was struggling, Paul said, use a little wine for thine, often infirmities.

Host:

He didn't say cast the spirit out.

Host:

But there are other times where Jesus rebuked things that indicate that it was demonic in origin.

Host:

So I just want to say it wisely.

Host:

I don't want to say this wrong.

Host:

There is not a demon behind every single rock, but there are demons behind rocks.

Host:

Do you understand that?

Host:

There is not a demon behind every single rock, but there are demons behind rocks.

Host:

Okay, so.

Host:

And what I'm going To do is if Fred wants to do a better explanation on the boils, I'll give him that opportunity for tomorrow.

Host:

But in regards to trials and difficulties and things of that nature, I'm just being honest.

Host:

I'm just trying to connect with you guys and have you understand this.

Host:

The Lord does allow certain things to take place in spiritual realms.

Host:

And there's no ifs, ands, and buts about.

Host:

It's all through scripture.

Host:

Sometimes the Lord is the one that brings about that difficulty.

Host:

And if you're sitting there saying, well, where's the evidence for that?

Host:

Jacob was wrestling with an angel, and didn't the angel touch his thigh and then he walked with a limp?

Host:

Yeah, that happened.

Host:

So people gotta be careful trying to say everything is this and everything.

Host:

The only thing that are absolutes are that which God declares everything from the human point of view.

Host:

That's interesting.

Host:

All right, now, great, great answer to the trivia question, by the way.

Host:

So excellent job on the boils.

Host:

Excellent job.

Host:

Fred, you minister.

Host:

You.

Host:

You minister of the kingdom of God.

Host:

You.

Host:

And I did my best on that second part.

Host:

First one.

Host:

Yeah, not that great.

Host:

All right, let's do DNA and then we'll break real quickly.

Host:

D stands for draw closer to the Lord daily.

Host:

Every day.

Host:

Every day.

Host:

Every day.

Host:

Every day.

Host:

Every day.

Host:

You know, one thing I love about reading the gospel is, if you will read it slowly.

Host:

You find out Jesus spent a lot of time alone.

Host:

It's more often than people think.

Host:

He's like, no, no, you just need to have that time.

Host:

You know, it's like, you know, people say, well, I gotta take a vacation for my vacation.

Host:

Or I got a charger.

Host:

I got a recharge, or I got to do this.

Host:

I fully get it all the time, all the way across.

Host:

But the best recharge in the world is connecting with he who has all the charge, and that's Jesus.

Host:

Hang out.

Host:

Get what I'm saying?

Host:

D.

Host:

Draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.

Host:

You could tell politicians, oh, it just happened yesterday.

Host:

Oh, my goodness.

Host:

Somebody was saying, yeah, yeah, you gotta vote because it says, honor your father and mother, and then the country you're from is your home as your motherland.

Host:

I mean, that's how stupid these things are getting.

Host:

That's so stupid.

Host:

It's not even.

Host:

It's ridiculous.

Host:

Don't be ashamed of what Jesus had to say.

Host:

And don't use the word of God in such a way as to try and win points.

Host:

You are a billboard of God's truth.

Host:

People don't like it, too bad.

Host:

They'll reject it.

Host:

It's not your job to get them to approve of God's Word.

Host:

It's your job to be faithful to God's Word.

Host:

And by the way, because Israel wasn't faithful, they got in a whole bunch of trouble with the Lord.

Host:

So d Draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.

Host:

A Always be ready.

Jacob:

To serve.

Host:

To serve.

Host:

Did you like that voice crack at the end right there?

Host:

Always be ready.

Jacob:

Ready.

Host:

Okay.

Host:

You just gotta be prepared.

Host:

Do you know what's gonna happen tomorrow?

Host:

No.

Host:

But if your faith is active, you are prepared.

Host:

Why?

Host:

Because you are hanging out with him who's in charge of who brings tomorrow.

Host:

You see, not one politician, not one newscaster, not one academia, not one Hollywood person, not one of them will bring tomorrow.

Host:

But God will bring tomorrow.

Host:

So always ready, always responsive, always willing, always yielded before the Lord.

Host:

Right?

Host:

D Draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.

Host:

A Always be ready to serve.

Host:

We'll take a break and then come back.

Host:

You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the truth station here in Texas.

Host:

Short break.

Host:

We'll be back.

Host:

Don't go anywhere.

Caller:

He has a weird sense of humor.

Caller:

If people are seeking wisdom and insight from the great teachers around the world, would they go to David?

Caller:

No, I don't think so.

Caller:

Those big ears really don't help.

Caller:

Will people enjoy his perspective on culture, politics, food, sports and local and national news?

Caller:

I don't know.

Caller:

He's just a client.

Caller:

Tune in to the David Spoon experience on kaam.

Host:

Here's what I want you to get.

Host:

Here's what I want you to understand.

Host:

Bad news does not necessitate that there is nowhere else to go except to weep.

Host:

In Psalm 112, verse 7, the Scripture says he will not fear bad news.

Host:

His heart is confident, trusting in the Lord.

Host:

It's not pie in the sky to look at the situation go, gosh, it's terrible.

Host:

But I'm going to hold hope because hope is the only thing I have.

:

To move past it.

Host:

If it never comes about, that's fine.

Host:

But I'm going to live every day believing that there's a better tomorrow.

Host:

When people think of that, they think, oh, Christianity, it's a crutch.

Host:

It's the opiate of the people, is what Karl Marx said.

Host:

It takes more guts, more strength, more determination in this day and age to be a Christian and to stand in your faith than it does to be any other thing that there is.

Host:

Because it's the Christians who are under persecution and it's the people of faith that are getting slaughtered.

Host:

And, oh, by the way, throughout the world that's taking place.

Jacob:

You're here when I need you the most.

Host:

When oh welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.

Host:

Thank you for joining us here at KAM 770, the true station here in Texas.

Host:

That's K double amen.

Host:

770, the true station here in Texas.

Host:

Getting ready for your next trivia question.

Host:

Now consider the text.

Host:

Remember, we're in Job.

Host:

Who attempted to comfort Job in his distress?

Host:

Job, chapter 2, verses 11 through 13.

Host:

Who attempted to comfort Job in his distress?

Host:

That's the question.

Host:

Who was trying to comfort him?

Host:

Job, chapter two, verses 11 through 13.

Host:

If you think you know the answer.

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

If you do know the answer, and you call in.

Host:

Please don't give any other information because it'll be a follow up on that.

Host:

Okay?

Host:

Okay, cool.

Host:

All right.

Host:

So you can reach out to us if you want to on that.

Host:

The other thing I do want to let you know is we do have to do.

Host:

It's very important, Jake's take.

Host:

All right, Mr.

Host:

Rice Crispy, what do you got for us?

Host:

What do you got for us?

Jacob:

What was my nickname real quick?

Jacob:

What was my first nickname to start the show?

Jacob:

Was it the sideline something?

Host:

The side judge.

Jacob:

So I'm the side judge.

Jacob:

And Mr.

Jacob:

Rice Crispy.

Host:

There you go.

Host:

Those are great.

Jacob:

Two great nicknames.

Jacob:

Well, David, we had two good games Sunday.

Jacob:

The games we talked about on.

Jacob:

Was it Thursday or Friday?

Host:

It was Thursday.

Jacob:

Thursday.

Host:

Okay.

Host:

Yeah, we did talk about Thursday.

Jacob:

So the Detroit Lions beat the Green Bay packers in.

Jacob:

Green Bay in.

Jacob:

What an impressive win for your Detroit Lions, David.

Host:

In Green Bay.

Host:

Hold on, hold on.

Host:

Okay, cool.

Jacob:

There you go.

Jacob:

And the Dallas Cowboys, unfortunately, did not look as good as the Lions losing to the Atlanta Falcons a little bit earlier in the day Sunday.

Jacob:

And.

Jacob:

Yeah, just did not look good for the Cowboys.

Jacob:

I don't think they will make the playoffs this year, and I don't.

Jacob:

I don't think the season for them will get much better.

Host:

Wow.

Host:

Wow.

Host:

All right, so I picked Detroit and Dallas to both win.

Host:

You picked them to both lose?

Host:

Correct.

Host:

Did you say both of them would lose or not?

Host:

Am I correct in that?

Jacob:

I believe so.

Jacob:

I believe I picked Green Bay and then I picked the Falcons.

Jacob:

So we both split there.

Jacob:

So.

Host:

So we split.

Host:

We split on those.

Host:

Okay, so that was.

Host:

Okay, so we're split.

Host:

So what's our long running toll for.

Host:

For how we've been doing this?

Host:

Because we're eight.

Host:

Eight games in now.

Host:

Right, Right.

Host:

Right.

Jacob:

And you're ahead by one, I believe.

Jacob:

Yeah.

Jacob:

It's funny because Thursday we picked the different teams, so we were saying, okay, maybe.

Jacob:

Maybe it'll change the standings between us, but nope, you're split.

Jacob:

So you're still ahead by one.

Host:

All right.

Host:

All right.

Host:

Well, it probably won't last, but that part's okay.

Host:

What I will say is that I did watch most of that Detroit game.

Host:

I watched more of that game than I've watched any football game in a long time.

Host:

And I was pretty happy.

Host:

I did.

Host:

Let me just say that I watched Dallas for about 10 minutes and thought, yeah, I sure hope Detroit wins.

Host:

That's all.

Host:

I kept thinking it wasn't much to it.

Host:

I couldn't say much about it.

Jacob:

So the Lions are really impressive.

Jacob:

I do think I've said it before.

Jacob:

I really do think they can make the super bowl this time.

Jacob:

They almost did last year.

Jacob:

I think this Lions team can make it.

Host:

Yeah, they're definitely playing the best that I've ever seen them play.

Host:

I mean, so we'll see that.

Host:

And then I've seen their worst.

Host:

So anything's better than 016 people.

Host:

That's just how it goes.

Host:

Anyway, excellent job on Jake's take.

Host:

We'll pick it up in the later part of the week to figure out what's coming up next.

Host:

Your trivia question, by the way, for those that are sitting there thinking, do you guys do Bible teaching?

Host:

Yes.

Host:

And if you want to, you can answer this question.

Host:

Who attempted to comfort Job in his distress?

Host:

Job, chapter 2, verses 11 through 13.

Host:

-:

Host:

This is the history of the families of Shem, Ham and Japheth, the three sons of Noah.

Host:

Many children were born to them after the flood.

Host:

Okay, so you're gonna get the history.

Host:

And so the reason I'm not diving into it is because I don't want to.

Host:

I just don't want to go into all the depth of it.

Host:

Just like.

Host:

Okay, so I could just start off and start reading the names.

Host:

Descendants of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Medei, Jevin, Tubal, Mish, Tiris, Decembers.

Host:

And then it just keeps going, going, going.

Host:

The descendants, by the way, of Japheth became.

Host:

Listen to this.

Host:

And these are the kind of things I think are cool that we don't pick up when we're getting into these genealogy.

Host:

But it says this.

Host:

The descendants became the seafaring people in various lands.

Host:

So Japheth's descendants were like the sailors.

Host:

That's in verse 5, chapter 10.

Host:

They were like the sea people, not sea monkey people.

Host:

They were like sea people.

Host:

They liked the water.

Host:

They liked to be on the water.

Host:

I've got a family member connected to me through Noel that loves to be on boats, loves to water.

Host:

And there are people like that.

Host:

I think that's very fascinating.

Host:

What's bizarre is Japheth in his history.

Host:

It's not very long, it's very short.

Host:

And the last line, it says is this in verse 5.

Host:

Each tribe with its own language.

Host:

There is something unique about the distinctions of the people and why that's important is we get to Genesis 11, we're gonna find out the Tower of Babel, that people were trying to create a great sense of unity because people were divided.

Host:

Right?

Host:

They were dividing into different groups.

Host:

So now you've got these three groups.

Host:

Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Host:

And there's the descendants of all three.

Host:

And in Japheth's case, the people were seafaring people.

Host:

They were the water people.

Host:

Cool.

Host:

Got it.

Host:

But each tribe with its own language.

Host:

And what we're gonna find out is as that continues and as time continues, that distinc, There was a seeking to overcome their distinctions and make everybody one.

Host:

That's what the Tower of Babel was all about.

Host:

They're all about, like, being connected.

Host:

Right?

Host:

So there's some argument as to, well, does this take after?

Host:

And there's some decent arguments saying, well, this had to take place after or it had to take place before.

Host:

Remember, we already know Genesis is not chronological because chapter two goes backwards into chapter one of Genesis 1:2.

Host:

So there are some people that think that it's just the way that the scripture put it together and that this is actually kind of an expansive outward shot to us.

Host:

Understanding what really took place at the Tower of Babel.

Host:

Could be.

Host:

I don't have a big problem with that.

Host:

Here's where we have the problem, and I'm not going to go into it right now, but I want to get into it.

Host:

The descendants of Ham.

Host:

So we already did Japheth.

Host:

Not a lot there.

Host:

Seafaring people.

Host:

Pretty cool.

Host:

Got it.

Host:

Okay.

Host:

The descendants of Ham.

Host:

Blah, blah, blah.

Host:

I mean, it says Cush, Seba, Hevelah, Seba, Ramah, Septica, Rama, Sheba, Dedan.

Host:

One of Cush's descendants was Nimrod.

Host:

And I want to leave it on that because of how important this actually is and what the real teaching of this really should be.

Host:

So I will answer the trivia question.

Host:

Who attempted to comfort Job in his distress?

Host:

And the answer was his three friends, Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar.

Host:

Those are the people that tried to comfort him.

Host:

But there's something coming up, a trivial question coming up that's very hard.

Host:

So don't go far away, because you'll have a chance to answer that, too.

Host:

We'll take a break and then come back.

Host:

You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on KAM 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.

Host:

Short break.

Host:

We'll be back.

Host:

Don't go anywhere.

Host:

Cowpunchsites.com dad, what is the David Spoon experience?

Host:

Now, if anybody gets offended at this, I apologize that you have no sense of humor.

Host:

Okay, like that.

Host:

That's a good line.

Host:

Bam.

Host:

All right, here's the first one.

Host:

A pastor was leaving his area and was saying farewell to his congregation at the church door for the last time.

Host:

He shook the hand of an elderly lady as she walked out.

Host:

She said, your successor won't be as good as you.

Host:

Well, nonsense, said the pastor in a flattered tone.

Host:

No, really, said the old lady.

Host:

I've been here under five different ministers, and each new one has been worse than the last.

Host:

Ouch.

Host:

Ouch.

Host:

But this one, this is the one that's going to offend people, which is irony, right?

Host:

Because that's more offensive than this is.

Host:

And this is just too.

Host:

And if you guys get offended at this, I, you know, take a.

Host:

Take a week off the show.

Host:

It seems there was a minister who had just all of his remaining teeth pulled and new dentures were being made.

Host:

The first Sunday, he only preached 10 minutes.

Host:

The second Sunday, he preached 20 minutes.

Host:

But the third Sunday, he preached an hour and 25 minutes.

Host:

When asked about this by some of the congregation, he responded this way.

Host:

The first Sunday, my gums were so sore it hurt to talk.

Host:

The second Sunday, my dentures were hurting a lot.

:

The third Sunday, I accidentally grabbed my.

Host:

Wife'S dentures and I couldn't stop talking sometimes.

David Spoon:

Hallelujah.

Host:

Welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.

Host:

Thank you for joining us here at KAM 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.

Host:

That's KAM 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.

Host:

Here's your nap Trivia question Job, chapter three, verse one through three.

Host:

Job opened his mouth and cursed the day.

Host:

What day did he curse?

Host:

Job opened his mouth and cursed the day.

Host:

What day did he curse?

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

Or you can send an email.

Host:

David.

Host:

So I have not sent you up to the website.

Host:

I will tell you right now that our giving is down in the ministry, which a lot of ministries are down in their giving because of the presidential thing that people are kind of waiting to see what happens.

Host:

I appreciate that.

Host:

But we're a pretty tight little ministry and we are down about 75%, which is huge for us.

Host:

So for those that have given in the past, you know how much we appreciate it.

Host:

For those that have never given before, we encourage you to step up and help us out for us to keep the ministry going, because that's what it's going to require.

Host:

And then additionally and on top of all of that, if you can't give, we just are asking you as brothers and sisters in the Lord to pray for us.

Host:

ed that prayer so that Romans:

Host:

We mean that.

Host:

Okay?

Host:

That's what we mean.

Host:

So Please consider that 2 Corinthians 9:6:7 says this.

Host:

Whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly.

Host:

Whoever sows bountifully will reap bountifully.

Host:

Each one must give as he's decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion.

Host:

Never do that, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Host:

Okay, check it out on the website.

Host:

He must increase.org prayer request hemostincrease.org praise report emust.org looking to give to this ministry.

Host:

Hemustincrease.org confused by what's happening right now.

Host:

He must increase.org hemustincrease.org from the Valley.

David Spoon:

Of the Jolly Ho ho ho.

Host:

Green Giant.

Host:

Yeah, I still remember those.

Host:

You guys remember those too?

Host:

Ha.

Host:

Job opened his mouth and cursed the day.

Host:

Which day did Job open his mouth and Curse Job?

Host:

Chapter 3, verses 1 through 3.

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

We will do history probably in the next segment over.

Host:

And the reason I want to jump in the Word is actually how important this is.

Host:

This is probably not taught a lot that I can find a bunch of teaching on or a bunch of material on.

Host:

So some of this is going to be from just time with the Lord and spending time reviewing the Word.

Host:

But this is one of the things that comes out.

Host:

So we already talked about the descendants of Japheth.

Host:

Their one big thing is they were the Navy people.

Host:

They were the sea people.

Host:

Okay?

Host:

That's not a great thing.

Host:

There's nothing bad.

Host:

It's awesome.

Host:

Then we're talking about descendants of Ham.

Host:

And one descendant now stands out above all the rest for the entire chapter, and that's the descendant named Nimrod, verse 8.

Host:

One of Cush's descendants was Nimrod.

Host:

Cush was a descendant of Ham, Nimrod, as defined in the Bible, who became a heroic warrior.

Host:

He was a mighty hunter in the Lord's sight.

Host:

His name became proverbial.

Host:

And people would speak of someone as being like Nimrod, a mighty hunter in the Lord's sight.

Host:

He built the foundation of his empire in the land of Babylonian, Babylonia, with the cities of Babel, Erechth, Akkad and Selna.

Host:

From there, he extended his reign to Assyria, where he built Nineveh.

Host:

Remember Nineveh?

Host:

You remember, right?

Host:

Okay.

Host:

And Reboeth and Caleb and Rezin in the main city of the empire located between Nineveh and Calah.

Host:

This guy is phenomenal.

Host:

And the reason I want to bring it up, and I'm going to.

Host:

I'm going to keep on harping on it, just in case you're wondering, is because this guy was so influential, so powerful before people and the Lord, he was a mighty hunter in the Lord's sight.

Host:

So just think about this.

Host:

Like, this is not, you know, and the text actually says, a mighty hunter before the Lord.

Host:

It's like God was like, this guy.

Host:

This guy was solid.

Host:

He was so solid, he actually became the first proverb.

Host:

When somebody says, what's the first proverb?

Host:

You should go to Genesis 10.

Host:

Here's the first proverb.

Host:

If somebody said, like, Nimrod.

Host:

Nimrod was like the man.

Host:

Like the man.

Host:

Like, everybody wants to be like that guy.

Host:

That's who Nimrod was.

Host:

And why am I bringing this up?

Host:

And why am I hammering this home he was mighty in the Lord's sight.

Host:

He built the foundation for his empire in Babylonia, created Babel, Nineveh.

Host:

Remember Jonah, Nineveh, that whole thing?

Host:

This guy was really, really powerful, really influential.

Host:

Well, why is that so incredibly important?

Host:

Because people take that which is honored and pervert it.

Host:

People take that which is right and make it wrong, and that which is wrong and make it right.

Host:

It's right to murder a baby nine months in the womb.

Host:

That's what they say.

Host:

Forget the fact that Scripture's pretty clear that innocent blood can never be shed, which is 20 to 21 days.

Host:

But even so, going backwards to that.

Host:

Conception has always been the norm or the element for every element being created in life, every other being, except for mankind.

Host:

When money got involved in abortions, that's just stupid.

Host:

But what they've done is they've taken evil and they've tried to make it good, and that's sin.

Host:

And the Bible says, clearly, no room.

Host:

Isaiah 5:20.

Host:

Woe unto them that put light for darkness and darkness for light.

Host:

Good for bad and bad for good.

Host:

This is woe unto them.

Host:

Woe to the people that do.

Host:

Those people that support abortion.

Host:

I don't care.

Host:

First of all, 90% of those people are so far past having children, it's bizarre.

Host:

It's almost like a weird thing.

Host:

Second, it's murder.

Host:

Third, they're going to be judged for.

Host:

Is there forgiveness for this?

Host:

Of course there's forgiveness for everybody in Christ.

Host:

You do not have to sit there and think, well, I did have an abortion.

Host:

Will God forgive me?

Host:

Yes, Paul was a murderer.

Host:

God forgave him.

Host:

Yes, there is redemption in Jesus Christ, but to promote it and to celebrate it.

Host:

It's so disgusting.

Host:

And why I bring it up here is because this is what the world has done.

Host:

They've taken the word nimrod and done what with it?

Host:

Made it an insult.

Host:

Well, he's a nimrod.

Host:

If you'd have said that 3,000 years ago, people would have went, cool, What a guy.

Host:

I want to go to lunch with him.

Host:

But what people do is they take that which is great, that which is healthy, that which is righteous, and they pollute it.

Host:

And that's what they did.

Host:

See, Nimrod is this powerful guy, and people are like, making fun of him.

Host:

Making fun of him.

Host:

No, he's just a nimrod.

Host:

He should be so lucky.

Host:

But you see what society did?

Host:

They took the Word and they ruined it with their own lies, just like they ruined the word marriage with its own lies in human interpretation, Just like they ruined the word love with its own lies.

Host:

Oh, love is love.

Host:

Oh, really?

Host:

Jesus said, as many as I love, I rebuke.

Host:

You guys see that commercial during football?

Host:

Jesus said to love your enemies.

Host:

Cool.

Host:

You know what part of love is rebuking?

Host:

Sorry.

Host:

That's what Jesus said.

Host:

You tell me he didn't say it now.

Host:

So what irritates me is how people take something that's so powerful and so cool in the heart and the mind of God and make it bad.

Host:

And at the exact same time, take something that's bad and make it good.

Host:

And it's a sin.

Host:

And yes, there's forgiveness for it, but not if a person doesn't repent.

Host:

Turn their face towards the Lord, seek the grace and the mercy that comes from the most high God provided through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ.

Host:

But to delight in evil is just horrid.

Host:

Whether you're a politician or whether you're a person in academia, whether you're in Hollywood, whether you're in the media, all of that stuff, everything they do is a lie.

Host:

And you want to know why?

Host:

Because they're connected to the father of lies.

Host:

John, chapter eight, verse 44.

Host:

Oh, no.

Host:

Everybody's a child of God.

Host:

Jesus said, you're of your father, the devil.

Host:

He was a murderer from the beginning.

Host:

That is telling people you're just the son of a murderer, like, just dropping it on them.

Host:

And here's what I want you to understand.

Host:

I understand what the world's going to do.

Host:

I understand how the world's going to do it.

Host:

But this is the kind of thing you have to sit there and go, no, that's not right.

Host:

Nimrod is awesome before the Lord.

Host:

And if people don't like it, tough.

Host:

Because God in holy writ has a very strong place for this guy.

Host:

It's very impressive.

Host:

He was so impressive.

Host:

He was his own proverb.

Host:

Gosh, you'll be like, nimrod.

Host:

Wow.

Host:

That's called an honor.

Host:

Get it?

Host:

All right.

Host:

Okay, here we go.

Host:

Job opened up his mouth and cursed this day.

Host:

What day was it?

Host:

What day did he curse?

Host:

He cursed the day of his birth.

Host:

And he had wished he had never been born.

Host:

Which should tell each and every one of us.

Host:

Just because you curse something doesn't make it that important, okay?

Host:

Because nothing was going to change that.

Host:

He was already born.

Host:

All right, we're going to take our break, and then we're going to come back.

Host:

You are listening to the David Spoon experience right here on KAM 770, the truth station.

Host:

Here In Texas.

Host:

Short break.

Host:

We'll be back.

Host:

Don't go anywhere.

Host:

The David spoon experience.

:

In 1st Samuel 5 and 6, it talks about the Ark of the Covenant.

:

That's where the movie actually, at the end of 1 Samuel chapter 5, that's where the movie.

:

The Raiders of the Lost Ark.

:

That's where they got the whole premise, 70 men when the Ark came back.

:

Actually, that's in six.

:

I'm sorry.

:

First Samuel six.

:

They looked into the ark, which God deemed disrespectful and real life.

:

And 70 people died because they looked into the ark on the spot.

Host:

That's from real.

:

That's real stuff.

:

That's not fake.

Host:

But the idea, you know, didn't probably.

:

Happen the way that they showed it in the movies.

:

But okay, at least they tried to portray it and at least they were.

Host:

Accurate about what took place.

:

But I think the important part is understand the Philistine rulers were political leaders.

:

They were political leaders.

:

They got together for a political solution.

:

That's what happened.

:

That's what happened.

:

The priests got together and made a decision.

:

Instead of trying to overcome the power of God, they thought they'd make an offering to God, return the ark to Israel.

:

That spiritual solution worked.

Host:

Got that?

:

So political rulers making political decisions, failure.

:

Priests making an offering to God and returning things to their proper place solution.

:

That's the key, people.

:

I think that's the key.

:

That's what we need.

:

That's why we need a strong spiritual core in the church.

:

Not just you, in your church, but the church enlarged.

:

Trust me, Trust me when I say this.

:

When they start shooting Christians because we're Christians, when it becomes more like China and they start beating us because we're Christians, the denominational issue will fade to the white.

:

And for all of the people that say, no, no, that can't be, you are way, way wrong.

:

Church history has repeated itself several times.

:

It's the exact same thing.

:

Keep in mind the church has been around a little longer than America.

:

Oh, tell that to some Christians.

:

They want to shoot you.

:

Weird.

:

Anyways, the kicker to that is the five rats.

:

I think that's the funniest part of all that they actually had to make five golden rats representing the five political leaders.

:

A divine humor saying sometimes political leaders can be like rats.

:

That's kind of what that's saying.

:

And it's human proclaimed.

:

But is it Jesus approved?

:

That's the question.

Host:

Ha.

:

Anyway, we've had a phenomenal show.

:

I'd say phenomenal.

:

Would you call it phenomenal?

:

I call phenomenal.

:

I don't even know what.

:

Phenomenal.

Host:

Super.

Host:

Phenomenal.

:

Super, phenomenal.

:

We've had a super, phenomenal show.

:

And I just want to say that we really appreciate all of our guests.

:

We have a terrific.

:

I mean, we have something.

Host:

I got.

:

I got something for tomorrow.

:

Oh, my goodness.

:

It's called the nagging theory.

:

You ever heard that?

:

It's called the nagging theory.

:

For all of those young Jewish boys out there who have grown up in that same kind of process, you will understand it's the nagging theory.

:

We're going to talk about that.

:

And then a few more things about.

:

Oh, a few more things we're going to give away.

:

Something interesting happened in Alabama Supreme Court.

:

A lot of good political stuff that we've talked about, but mostly Kingdom of.

Host:

God stuff because, you know, everything else.

:

Compared to advancing the Kingdom of God.

Host:

Everything else is just interesting.

Host:

Welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.

Host:

Thank you for joining us here at KAM 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.

Host:

That's KAM N770, the Truth Station here in Texas.

Host:

I want to give you the last trivia question.

Host:

How many sons and daughters were born to Job after his suffering?

Host:

How many sons and daughters were born to Job after his suffering?

Host:

Job, chapter 42, verse 13.

Host:

How many sons and daughters were born to Job after his suffering?

Host:

Job, chapter 42, verse 13.

Host:

If you think you know the answer or if you called in, I'll try and give it a little more time on this one.

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

-:

Host:

Or send an email david must increase.org so the question is, how many sons and daughters were born to Job after his suffering?

Host:

Job, chapter 42, verse 13.

Host:

Okay, I do want to remind everybody I'm not going to be texting anybody till after 4.

Host:

I will text you, but just not till after 4.

Host:

And then later today towards the evening, we'll get this stuff up for the podcast for Friday and for today for the people that missed it.

Host:

Okay?

Host:

All right.

Host:

All right.

Host:

So we do have a little bit more to teach.

Host:

And I'm going to try and squeeze a history in here, which we can do.

Host:

Can we do that real fast?

Host:

Can that person hold for a split second?

Host:

All right, let's do history real fast.

Host:

I find this amazing, but today, technically, the 4th of November is technically national Candy Day, which just Seems to me like they're five days late.

Host:

I could be wrong, but it just seems that way.

Host:

I mean, isn't that just bizarre?

Jacob:

I was celebrating today, eating some candy.

Host:

There you go.

Host:

National Easy Bake Oven Day.

Host:

First oven for the light bulb, right?

Host:

That was good.

Host:

King Tut Day, which is only funny if you know Steve Martin when he first came out with his song King Tut, which I saw him do live in Pine Knob when I was very young.

Host:

That's that, that's that.

Host:

Let's see.

Host:

e car came out on this day in:

Host:

Ronald Reagan destroyed Jimmy Carter by an enormous amount.

Host:

We know that.

Host:

And this I thought was amazing.

Host:

commercial television channel:

Host:

Ruth.

Host:

Isn't that bizarre?

Host:

That's weird.

Host:

All right, we do have somebody ready to answer a trivia question.

Host:

Let's send them on through.

Host:

Knock, knock.

Host:

This is David.

Host:

Who am I talking to?

:

Hi, David, it's Deborah.

Host:

Hello, Deborah.

Host:

How are you?

:

I'm doing good.

Jacob:

How are you?

Host:

I'm doing pretty good.

Host:

We had a couple of tech issues at the beginning of the day, and I understand that there's some more tech issues right now, but we got through most of the show, so I'm still happy.

:

No doubt.

Host:

All right, let me set you up and then you can knock it out.

Host:

How many sons and daughters were born to Job after his suffering?

Host:

How many sons and daughters?

:

I Bet you was 10.

Host:

That is correct, Emmanuel.

Host:

Seven sons and three daughters were born after the whole thing, after the whole process took place.

Host:

So there was a lot of redemption and a lot of mercy granted in that situation since he wasn't entitled to it, but God gave him to it anyway.

Host:

So cool.

Host:

From the Lord.

:

I was wondering if you could say a prayer for three of my friends.

Host:

Sure.

:

Okay.

Host:

One.

:

One of them's name's Glenn, and he has cancer and he's gonna have an operation.

:

And I just hope he, you know, gets through that.

:

And then I have two other friends there, a couple, Ron and Helen, and they're going to have both have eye surgery at the same time.

:

And I'm hoping they will come through that.

Host:

Okay, let's pray.

Host:

Do you want to hang on and pray or do you want to.

Host:

Up to you.

:

Yes.

Host:

All right, let's do it.

:

Hang on.

Host:

Let's do it.

Host:

Father, we come before you right now.

Host:

We thank you for Deborah, and we ask that you bless Deborah.

Host:

She's a blessing to the audience, and I know she is a blessing and needs to receive that.

Host:

She is that blessing, and we appreciate her.

Host:

And, Lord, she's praying for Glenn, and Glenn's got cancer, and that's just.

Host:

That's just very, very difficult on all levels.

Host:

But your healing power is greater than any diagnosis, and your grace and your mercy are more powerful than the word of man.

Host:

And we ask you to give mercy in this situation for Glenn and bring him up, raise him up, and let him know he's being prayed for and that you're touching him and that he would just be knowledgeable that your grace is prevailing for him.

Host:

And, Lord, we lift up Ron and Helen to you both having eye surgery kind of the same time together.

Host:

Oh, that's just difficult.

Host:

It needs to go well.

Host:

Yes, but we need their recovery to go well and their connection to go well, everything to go well, and just to be merciful so there not be complications or problems that this would be simplified and that they could both be at peace instead of having that stress or that fear that most of us will have.

Host:

Give them a sense of peace that passes all understanding.

Host:

Give that confidence to both Ron and Helen and to Glenn, and bring your mercy and your grace, your kindness and your healing touch into all of their lives.

Host:

We pray for them and ask you again to bless our Deborah in her process as she's praying for others.

Host:

Bless her.

Host:

We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Host:

Amen.

Host:

And amen.

:

Amen.

:

And thank you so much, David.

:

I really appreciate that.

:

And I hope you all have a good rest of your day.

:

And watch out for that rain.

Host:

Gotcha.

Host:

Thank you.

Host:

God bless you.

Host:

God bless.

Host:

Bye bye.

Host:

Bye bye.

Host:

All right, so I only got, like, a minute and a half, so I'm just going to do this real quickly.

Host:

So in chapter 10, verse 25, it says Eber had two sons.

Host:

The first was named Peleg, which means division.

Host:

For during his lifetime, the people of the world were divided into different languages and dispersed.

Host:

Why that's important is because in chapter 11, verse one, it talks about the tower of Babel.

Host:

But what it says in the Hebrew, which is kind of important, it says at one time the whole world spoke as a single language and use the same words.

Host:

s took place prior to Genesis:

Host:

But in 111 it says they all spoke a single language.

Host:

So that's the theological argument for people saying 11:1.

Host:

Probably the tower of Babel probably took place somewhere in between all of these three Shem, Ham and Japheth histories.

Host:

Probably accurate.

Host:

Not an issue to fellowship.

Host:

And if you're dying because you don't like that and you don't like that, chapter two goes backwards into chapter one.

Host:

I understand.

Host:

But nothing is confusing to the Lord.

Host:

That's who you got to stay steady in.

Host:

He created the universe.

Host:

The dude can write a book.

Host:

Relax.

Host:

Okay.

Host:

All right.

Host:

Very cool.

Host:

All right.

Host:

Thank you all for putting up with the ups and downs and all the triggers and all the electronic stuff.

Host:

I pray the Lord bless you all.

Host:

Thank you so much for listening.

Host:

David Spoon

David Spoon was born and raised in a Jewish home in Detroit, Michigan. He attended a private Hebrew school called Hillel Hebrew Academy. David was bar mitzvah-ed at the age of thirteen. Not long after, he was involved in drug abuse and trafficking. After hearing the Gospel for the first time at age seventeen, David accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. A few months later, David had a dramatic experience with God. Immediately set free from years of excessive drug use, he committed himself to ministry and to furthering the Kingdom of God.

He attended Arizona Bible College, Northern Arizona University, and Life Pacific College, graduating summa-cum-laude in their Ministry and Leadership program. He also graduated with honors from Regent University with a master’s degree in Theological Studies and earned his Doctor of Ministry degree in Strategic Christian Ministry at Liberty University.

He is one of a few individuals holding ministerial ordinations from three separate denominations: Heritage Free Baptist Organization, 1981; Independent Pentecostal Ministers Association, 1985; and Vineyard Valley Association, 1988. He was also the Chaplain for the Flagstaff Police Department. In addition, David was the senior pastor of Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Flagstaff.

In addition, David started and co-hosted two different live Christian call-in radio talk shows. He hosted the very popular radio show “The David Spoon Experience” on KPRZ 1210 and a show called “To Know Him,” which aired on 88.9 on the F.M. dial-in Temecula, California at 1:00 p.m., Monday through Fridays. He was also the Director of Local Ministry for Salem Media Group in San Diego, California.

David is married to his best friend, Noelle. He has three children and seven grandchildren, plus their two dogs named Levi and Bert. On March 18th, 2019, he started “The David Spoon Experience” in Texas and is growing with his audience of awesome believers and non-believers alike.

He is the President of He Must Increase Ministry, a 501c3 ministry, and is hosting (again) the live daily radio show “The David Spoon Experience” with DJR Broadcasting in KAAM, on the 770 A.M. radio dial. The show is also on various apps and the Internet.

David is a Jewish-Christian, Bapti-Costal, Cal-Minian, Manifold Millennialist.

Just ask him.
