The David Spoon Experience 11-23-22 Part 1

TOP SHOW: A) Can you imagine praying for Divine scrutiny? That’s like asking God to scan you for all your faults and sins. But that is not a problem if you truly believe that God already knows your sins and has mercy on you, and your chief desire is for Him to help you root out the evils. That’s the ticket. You can overcome because of Jesus. But sometimes, we need guidance on what exactly we need to overcome. B) The following few verses are about David being honest about his process. He is not trying to establish himself as righteous compared to God. Instead, he simply says, “I’m giving this the old college try.” He wants to get it right. And some things he is getting right. But he knows there is more. C) To the altar so that the praise can be raised. At the altar of God, it becomes much easier to enter into praise. When we are there, other stuff shrinks fast. D) Guess why it’s easy to praise God at the altar? Because that’s where His glory dwells. And the glory of God can be so intense that people can stay in His presence. Remember Exodus 40:35.
