Uncovering the Truth: Biblical Perspectives on Life and Abortion

In today's engaging episode, Dr. David Spoon delves into the profound implications of biblical narratives, particularly focusing on the compassion of God and His unwavering commitment to His people. The discussion highlights the significance of Genesis 25:22, where God acknowledges the presence of children in the womb, countering contemporary misconceptions about life. As the conversation unfolds, listeners are encouraged to reflect on the importance of community, prayer, and support in challenging times, as illustrated by a heartfelt call for prayer for those facing persecution for their faith. With insights from various biblical stories and personal anecdotes, Dr. Spoon emphasizes the need to remain steadfast in belief and action amid societal pressures. This episode ultimately serves as a reminder of God's promises and the power of unity in faith.

In a poignant segment, Spoon addresses contemporary issues, such as the persecution of Christians and the challenges faced by believers worldwide. He draws attention to a recent incident in the UK where an individual was imprisoned for silently praying, illustrating the growing tension between faith and societal norms. This leads to a broader discussion on the importance of standing firm in faith amidst adversity, echoing themes from the Bible that stress resilience and courage. By linking these themes to the biblical narrative and his personal journey, Spoon effectively connects the ancient texts to modern-day realities, providing a fresh perspective on spiritual endurance. The episode culminates with a prayer for those facing persecution, reinforcing a sense of unity and collective faith among his audience.

David Spoon:

And now for something completely different.

David Spoon:

Here's what's coming up this hour on today's experience.

David Spoon:

It's marvelous, monumental, most fascinating, massively mind bending Monday as we join our hearts and minds as one, drawing closer to the king of kings and glorifying his name.

David Spoon:

First, we think we're going to pick it back up in Genesis, chapter nine, verse 18, where we see shem, hem and JP in their lineage.

David Spoon:

We also understand that through these three men, the entire world is about to be repopulated.

David Spoon:

So there's no question that we all came from Adam and Eve.

David Spoon:

And then there's no question that we all came from Shem, hem and Jpeth.

David Spoon:

Just in case you're wondering.

David Spoon:

Next we come to understand.

David Spoon:

We come to understand that Noah became a farmer and planted a vineyard.

David Spoon:

This is in verse 20 of chapter nine.

David Spoon:

In verse 21, we see that Noah drank the wine he had made and became drunk.

David Spoon:

And not just a little drunk, but the kind of drunk where a person throws off their clothes.

David Spoon:

And ham saw his father's nakedness and maybe something even more happened.

David Spoon:

Finally, out of respect for their father, Shem and Japheth took a garment and covered his nakedness.

David Spoon:

Without seeing it themselves.

David Spoon:

They turned their faces away so they would not see it.

David Spoon:

In verse 24, when Noah awakes and knew what his younger son had done, he cursed him.

David Spoon:

The curse was that he would be a servant to his brothers.

David Spoon:

Shem and Japheth both received blessings, but ham and his offspring Canaan received a curse.

David Spoon:

Let's at least be honest with one another.

David Spoon:

This is not the greatest beginning for humanity to the new earth.

David Spoon:

Ouch.

David Spoon:

David Spoon's life has been an experience.

David Spoon:

While growing up in a jewish family, he made a wrong turn towards drug abuse.

David Spoon:

Then David Spoon found Jesus Christ and his life completely changed.

David Spoon:

The more he studied the gospel, the more he wanted to share his experiences with others.

David Spoon:

After 35 years of ministry, David discovered a new path of service.

David Spoon:

He joined Kaam and this radio program began.

David Spoon:

Youre about to hear the David Spoon experience.

David Spoon:

Welcome to the David spoon experience.

David Spoon:

Local, national and heavenly talk.

David Spoon:

Heres what else were looking at during the show.

David Spoon:

Lessons for surviving living and prevailing politics, entertainment and current events.

David Spoon:

Personal revelations, spiritual observations.

David Spoon:

My life's insanity is Nueva.

David Spoon:

So much more now.

David Spoon:

We've been telling you for some time it is not professional radio, this show.

David Spoon:

And if you were listening to the last 30 minutes, you might be thinking, what was that all about?

David Spoon:

I don't know, but I just believe God was in it and that's all I care about.

David Spoon:

And so with that in mind, that's how we wanna do all the shows.

David Spoon:

It's really important.

David Spoon:

So we want you to understand, this is not professional radio.

David Spoon:

We don't do everything in a pro capacity.

David Spoon:

I'm telling you, there are hundreds of media companies that are like, you have to do it like this.

David Spoon:

You have to do it like this.

David Spoon:

You have to do it like this.

David Spoon:

And here's the answer.

David Spoon:

No, you don't.

David Spoon:

In their world, if it bleeds, it leads.

David Spoon:

That's terrible.

David Spoon:

We just want to follow the Lord.

David Spoon:

If the Lord is showing up, I just want to be there.

David Spoon:

And so, just to verify, because we don't want him to think we forgot about him.

David Spoon:

We want you to understand that we have somebody who's very important to professional radio.

David Spoon:

The actual pioneer of professional radio, our very own jam and Jacob Jammin Jacob is the David Spoon experience.

David Spoon:

As the pioneer, the cutter, the one who blazed the trail.

David Spoon:

Is the David Spoon experience, professional radio.

David Spoon:

No, it is not, David.

David Spoon:

There you go.

David Spoon:

You know that's correct.

David Spoon:

Because it comes from the pioneer, like you said.

David Spoon:

Exactly.

David Spoon:

And if the pioneer cuts the trail, I mean, that's it.

David Spoon:

I mean, there it is.

David Spoon:

You can't have any, any questions.

David Spoon:

Now, if you're sitting there going, was this professional radio?

David Spoon:

The answer is no.

David Spoon:

Okay, okay, here's what we are trying to do.

David Spoon:

Get you to respond, get you to interact, get you to engage, get you to film fellowship.

David Spoon:

Why?

David Spoon:

Because God likes that.

David Spoon:

That's why you guys try to figure out why we do.

David Spoon:

People call and they share.

David Spoon:

Why did brother ace call and share?

David Spoon:

Why?

David Spoon:

Why did Mister Robinson call and share?

David Spoon:

Because God likes us engaging with one another.

David Spoon:

He likes us to carry one another's burdens.

David Spoon:

He likes us to cry with one another and laugh with one another.

David Spoon:

He likes us to rejoice with one another.

David Spoon:

He likes us to care.

David Spoon:

He wants, and I know it's hard for people to believe, but remember Jesus.

David Spoon:

Remember he gave the summation commandments.

David Spoon:

What are the summation commandments?

David Spoon:

Love the Lord your God with your heart, soul, strength and mind.

David Spoon:

Love your neighbor as you love yourself.

David Spoon:

But what did he say in John?

David Spoon:

A new commandment I give you.

David Spoon:

Uh oh.

David Spoon:

I thought it was just those two.

David Spoon:

Jesus said, a new commandment I give you.

David Spoon:

Love one another as I have loved you.

David Spoon:

See, that's a new commandment.

David Spoon:

What do you mean?

David Spoon:

Because Jesus loves us better than we love ourselves.

David Spoon:

And he's telling us to love one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.

David Spoon:

And that's the new commandment.

David Spoon:

And it's like, that's why we want to hear from you.

David Spoon:

That's why we want to engage.

David Spoon:

So you can do that through email.

David Spoon:

Very safe, by the way, I do want to point that out.

David Spoon:

Sending an email, nothing, you know, nothing scary there.

David Spoon:

Davidimusincrease.org that's davidmusincrease.org dot.

David Spoon:

-:

David Spoon:

We love any of these connections.

David Spoon:

-:

David Spoon:

Talking to Jammin Jacob is like knowing your spiritual radio family has your back.

David Spoon:

That's nice.

David Spoon:

Thank you, David.

David Spoon:

Happy Monday.

David Spoon:

Happy Monday to you.

David Spoon:

Not the normal Monday for us, I would say, as I don't really know what show after.

David Spoon:

I mean, it's actually, it's a rarity on our show to have a normal show.

David Spoon:

That's kind of how it goes.

David Spoon:

Which makes it a normal show today, right?

David Spoon:

Yeah, it's normal because it's always abnormal.

David Spoon:

Yeah, that's it, Abby.

David Spoon:

Normal.

David Spoon:

There it is.

David Spoon:

It doesn't, doesn't change.

David Spoon:

Here's the element here, folks.

David Spoon:

Maybe you got a prayer request.

David Spoon:

Brother Ace called and he asked for and I thought was a wonderful expression of his faith.

David Spoon:

I support him a thousand percent.

David Spoon:

Some people saying, well, you shouldn't have prayed that.

David Spoon:

Well, you don't have to agree with it.

David Spoon:

I agree with him.

David Spoon:

I stand by my brother wanting to see his dad.

David Spoon:

I have no problem with that.

David Spoon:

Maybe you've got something you just want to share.

David Spoon:

Maybe you've got a praise report.

David Spoon:

Maybe you've got something going on.

David Spoon:

You want to maybe share a scripture or perhaps you've just got something on your heart and you just want to share it.

David Spoon:

Awesome.

David Spoon:

I mean, it's just awesome stuff, right?

David Spoon:

Maybe you'll even know Bible trivia.

David Spoon:

What was the name of the physician in the Bible?

David Spoon:

Not the doctor, but the physician.

David Spoon:

What was the name of the physician in the bible who was also an author in the Bible?

David Spoon:

What was his name?

David Spoon:

I think many of you will know.

David Spoon:

We'll just give you one reference point.

David Spoon:

That's good.

David Spoon:

Colossians 414.

David Spoon:

Colossians 414.

David Spoon:

-:

David Spoon:

Now we are going to do our DNA and I'm going to do something a little different, which you probably were not expecting because something has come up that seems to be rather important in our society.

David Spoon:

So I wanted to address it.

David Spoon:

It's a very bizarre thing, but we're going to nail it down biblically because that's the way we do things.

David Spoon:

We live, you know, we live, you know, spirit led, Bible grounded.

David Spoon:

Right?

David Spoon:

Spirit led, Bible grounded.

David Spoon:

That's our goal.

David Spoon:

Right.

David Spoon:

So if you have an answer to the trivia question, you can answer.

David Spoon:

In the meantime, I'm going to go right to the DNA because we have so much stuff I want to try and get in.

David Spoon:

I just don't know how we'll do it.

David Spoon:

We'll do our best.

David Spoon:

D for DNA is draw closer to the Lord daily, every day.

David Spoon:

Right ministry comes out of right relationship and right relationship comes out of spending time with God, period.

David Spoon:

And when people do ministry apart from spending time with God, then they're doing ministry mostly on their own.

David Spoon:

And that doesn't mean God won't give them grace and give them moments or it doesn't mean any of that.

David Spoon:

But if we're going to do something in the kingdom of God, we need to have the connection to the king to do something for the kingdom of God.

David Spoon:

So draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.

David Spoon:

You guys thought I was kidding last week when I told you that somebody got arrested for praying silently in the UK.

David Spoon:

They send him to 13 months for praying silently, which he admitted to doing.

David Spoon:

But how that affects anybody is way weird.

David Spoon:

Why?

David Spoon:

Because the world is turning in your face right now.

David Spoon:

It's turning against all christian living, against all biblical living.

David Spoon:

The dark part of the earth is turning against it.

David Spoon:

Things are gearing up seriously.

David Spoon:

But you have to make a decision.

David Spoon:

I have to make a decision.

David Spoon:

Are we ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ?

David Spoon:

Are we ashamed of Jesus or his words?

David Spoon:

Jesus said, if you're ashamed of me and my words, I'll be ashamed of you when I come in glory with the father.

David Spoon:

Wow.

David Spoon:

Don't want that.

David Spoon:

So d draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.

David Spoon:

A always be ready to serve.

David Spoon:

Just always ready.

David Spoon:

I think I could even change that to always willing.

David Spoon:

That would also work in my mind.

David Spoon:

Just prepared.

David Spoon:

It's like there's so much going on and the Lord will use us if we offer the Lord will use those that present themselves.

David Spoon:

And we're supposed to scripturally, just so we can know Romans chapter six, present ourselves as instruments of righteousness because that's what the Lord wants.

David Spoon:

He wants us to be willing.

David Spoon:

And you think, well, I'm wounded.

David Spoon:

I can't do anything.

David Spoon:

You do know that God took three, three men who were filled with leprosy and used those three men to bring about an amazing miracle in the Old Testament, where the fighting army against Israel thought they were being attacked and they left all their stuff.

David Spoon:

And the three men with the leprosy came across and found all this great riches.

David Spoon:

And then they were like kind of getting into it, going, yeah, this is awesome.

David Spoon:

This is awesome.

David Spoon:

And then they were like, well, you know what?

David Spoon:

We got to tell people about this.

David Spoon:

And then they went back and told all the people and they were the cause, the agency that God used to make the bad army afraid.

David Spoon:

And then they brought the good news to Israel, and then Israel went out and they plundered it.

David Spoon:

And they was like, the famine was over.

David Spoon:

It was amazing.

David Spoon:

And God used three lepers to do it.

David Spoon:

God can do anything with anybody, anywhere, anytime.

David Spoon:

So don't tell me you're too wounded to be used by God.

David Spoon:

That's you putting a limit on God.

David Spoon:

Or you can put a limit on yourself all you want, but you can't put a limit on God.

David Spoon:

Always be ready to serve.

David Spoon:

D draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.

David Spoon:

A always be ready to serve.

David Spoon:

Your trivia question, who was, what was the name of the physician in the Bible who was also an author in the Bible, one of the gospels and another significant book, Colossians chapter four, verse 14, gives you that identity.

David Spoon:

If you think you know.

David Spoon:

-:

David Spoon:

So this show not even close to anything we thought it would be, which is fine, I don't care.

David Spoon:

I just rather do what the Lord wants us to do the best that we can.

David Spoon:

And no, we don't always do it perfect.

David Spoon:

In fact, many things I is imperfect, ain't one of them.

David Spoon:

But willing, that's different.

David Spoon:

Ready, that's different.

David Spoon:

Do you understand what I'm saying?

David Spoon:

All right, so there's that.

David Spoon:

We do have somebody.

David Spoon:

I guess they're going to answer the trivia question.

David Spoon:

Let's send them on through.

David Spoon:

Knock, knock.

David Spoon:

This is David.

David Spoon:

Who am I talking to?

David Spoon:

Hey, it's your little brother.

David Spoon:

Hello, little brother.

David Spoon:

How are you?

David Spoon:

Oh, thou art good.

David Spoon:

I don't know if you had a chance to hear the earlier part of the show, but it was some deep, deep, deep, deep, deep stuff, so.

David Spoon:

And if you didn't, I would encourage you to check it out on the podcast.

David Spoon:

It was definitely, definitely deep from brother Ace.

David Spoon:

So I just wanted to share that with you.

David Spoon:

What's happening on your end?

David Spoon:

Are you ready to answer the trivia question for me?

David Spoon:

I just know you know it without even blinking.

David Spoon:

So tell me if you're ready.

David Spoon:

That's for sure.

David Spoon:

Okay, what was the name of the physician?

David Spoon:

Not the doctor.

David Spoon:

What was the name of the physician in the Bible who was also an author?

David Spoon:

L u k e l.

David Spoon:

When I say Luke, not the wolf.

David Spoon:

Aunt Deb wrote Lukeye.

David Spoon:

Okay, that's different.

David Spoon:

I bet he doesn't know that's a nickname for him, but okay.

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

Awesome, awesome, awesome brother, how art thou in general?

David Spoon:

Are you doing a little better?

David Spoon:

Yes, I am a little better.

David Spoon:

Pray for me.

David Spoon:

My wife is on a mission trip overseas and I'm with the kiddos, so pray for me.

David Spoon:

Okay?

David Spoon:

You need prayer for sure.

David Spoon:

You definitely need prayer in that situation.

David Spoon:

There's no question about that.

David Spoon:

Yes, let's definitely.

David Spoon:

Let's do it.

David Spoon:

Let's.

David Spoon:

No, especially pray for my little daughter.

David Spoon:

Like, she had some.

David Spoon:

Something happening and I need to take her to doctor tomorrow.

David Spoon:

So pray for her, that lord will heal her supernaturally, and she is missing her mommy, so just pray.

David Spoon:

Yeah, you got it.

David Spoon:

Let's do it.

David Spoon:

Let's bring it before the Lord.

David Spoon:

Let's bring the kingdom of God into the situation.

David Spoon:

Okay?

David Spoon:

Let's do it.

David Spoon:

Father.

David Spoon:

We come before you, Lord, and we thank you and praise you.

David Spoon:

We thank you for Samson.

David Spoon:

We of course ask you to bless him and encourage him.

David Spoon:

We ask you to lift up his heart, that his spirit would just be, oh, just alive.

David Spoon:

Full of praise and full of appreciation for the graciousness you've given him.

David Spoon:

We pray for protection for his wife.

David Spoon:

I mean, protect.

David Spoon:

I mean, angels in front and behind and that everything goes well.

David Spoon:

We pray for his daughter who's not feeling well and has to go to the doctor.

David Spoon:

And no doubt missing mom.

David Spoon:

That.

David Spoon:

That emptiness, that little feeling right there.

David Spoon:

Lord, plug that in with your presence.

David Spoon:

Plug that feeling in with your graciousness, with your peace, with your kindness, with your faithfulness, with your goodness, with your kindness right into her that she could know.

David Spoon:

Hey, even though mom is not here.

David Spoon:

I am still being blessed in this situation, and I can do this with the Lord.

David Spoon:

And I just pray for Samson that he would have not just the wisdom and not just the determination and the fortitude, but just that gracious, soft, gentle spirit that he can communicate to her in such a way as to be.

David Spoon:

He's already a great father.

David Spoon:

Let him be just that much better of a father, loving her with all that he can through you and for the rest of the kids and everybody else involved, that there just be a graciousness in their home, and they would know it.

David Spoon:

This is good because, Lord, you are with them, and that's why it's good.

David Spoon:

We pray this prayer for them as a family.

David Spoon:

Those who are there and those who are away for your cause, we ask your blessing.

David Spoon:

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior.

David Spoon:

Amen.

David Spoon:

And amen.

David Spoon:

I have one quick question.

David Spoon:

Book of Nehemiah and Azra.

David Spoon:

Are they duplicate or their.

David Spoon:

I.

David Spoon:

What was the purpose of it?

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

So in the Old Testament canon, in the Old Testament, they were thought of many times as one book.

David Spoon:

Okay.

David Spoon:

But there's two pretty.

David Spoon:

Two dramatic separate sections.

David Spoon:

So they're not copies per se.

David Spoon:

They're actually, one builds or leads into the other, but they cannot be separated.

David Spoon:

Kind of like, you know how.

David Spoon:

Kind of like the psalms and the proverbs are really closely connected.

David Spoon:

That's kind of how those books are.

David Spoon:

They're even more so closely connected because it's a continuous run from the beginning of one book to the end of the other book.

David Spoon:

So you got to think of it in those terms, though.

David Spoon:

There's plenty to separate, but that part's not the end of the world.

David Spoon:

It's just fascinating to look at it and to see it and understand that this is one massive story instead of two separate things.

David Spoon:

But it's definitely not a copycat, just so you can know.

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

Like the same, like, you know, one of the epistles of Peter and Jude.

David Spoon:

It's like a.

David Spoon:

Very similarities are there.

David Spoon:

Yep, yep.

David Spoon:

Just a little bit different flavor.

David Spoon:

It's kind of like the synoptic gospels, which is actually quite fascinating.

David Spoon:

We don't talk about it a lot, but it's more miraculous that three of the gospels see the same, because I'm telling you, I take you to a Star wars movie, we come out with ten people, you'll have ten different versions of what happened.

David Spoon:

I mean, it's just the truth.

David Spoon:

It's just like.

David Spoon:

It's even more amazing that they had so much so close, and it's like, oh, that's pretty good.

David Spoon:

Well, may the force be with you.

David Spoon:

All right, brother.

David Spoon:

God bless you, bro.

David Spoon:

All right.

David Spoon:

May the Holy spirit be with all of us.

David Spoon:

Thank you.

David Spoon:

All right.

David Spoon:

God bless.

David Spoon:

Bye bye.

David Spoon:

God bless.

David Spoon:

Bye bye.

David Spoon:

All right.

David Spoon:

All right.

David Spoon:

We will take the break and I am gonna, I'm gonna probably do this one teaching.

David Spoon:

You probably are not prepared for it, but maybe you should be.

David Spoon:

We'll take a step out here.

David Spoon:

You're listening to the David Spoon experience radio on KAM 770, the truth station here in Texas.

David Spoon:

Don't go anywhere.

David Spoon:

Have you ever wanted to get involved with a ministry that promotes Jesus Christ as Lord but just don't know how?

David Spoon:

Serving in ministry is a matter of devotion, time and talent.

David Spoon:

Are you looking for a place to try and test the waters?

David Spoon:

Do you want to get involved?

David Spoon:

Come join the ambassador's initiative.

David Spoon:

Be an ambassador for the David Spoon experience.

David Spoon:

It doesnt pay great.

David Spoon:

Actually, it doesnt pay anything, but the eternal benefits are out of this world.

David Spoon:

Be a representative.

David Spoon:

Why not?

David Spoon:

It couldnt hurt.

David Spoon:

Well, we hope not.

David Spoon:

Anyway, you dont need to be a professionally qualified minister.

David Spoon:

You need to have a pulse.

David Spoon:

By that we mean you need to have a heart.

David Spoon:

Just go to hemustincrease.org dot.

David Spoon:

That's hemustincrease.org dot.

David Spoon:

Fill out the form and we will reach out to you.

David Spoon:

Sorry, no parking tickets will be paid for you as an ambassador through this position.

David Spoon:

Who is David Spoon?

David Spoon:

I have no idea.

David Spoon:

People have asked me about the David Spoon experience.

David Spoon:

They wanted to know what I thought of them.

David Spoon:

Like any person searching for answers, I have wondered about him.

David Spoon:

He was born and raised jewish and after intense drug use, became a Christian.

David Spoon:

He's married to his best friend Noel, has three children, six grandchildren and a dog named Bert.

David Spoon:

He has three separate ordinations from three different denominations and is a summa cum laude for his BA degree in ministry and leadership, as well as a master's degree of theological studies and has his doctorate of strategic christian ministry.

David Spoon:

He has a weird sense of humor and talks a lot.

David Spoon:

If people are seeking wisdom and insight from the great teachers around the world, would they go to David?

David Spoon:

No, I don't think so.

David Spoon:

And those big ears really don't help him.

David Spoon:

But would they enjoy his perspective on life, culture, politics, food, sports, local and national news?

David Spoon:

I don't know.

David Spoon:

I guess people will have to listen to find out the David spoon experience.

David Spoon:

Bottom line is, what I'm about to share with you does not, does not, does not, does not mean that churches are bad.

David Spoon:

There are a multitude of great churches.

David Spoon:

Jesus had an address to seven churches in the book of revelation, right?

David Spoon:

Multiple of those churches were excellent.

David Spoon:

Everybody had something they can improve on, change, grow in.

David Spoon:

Only two of those churches were super, super bad.

David Spoon:

The idea behind that is never take.

David Spoon:

What I'm about to share is how the church is at large.

David Spoon:

This is no indictment on the church of God, the bride of Christ.

David Spoon:

Never, never, never think of the church that way.

David Spoon:

The Lord God Almighty loves the church.

David Spoon:

If you don't love what God loves, if you don't love who God loves, that's a whole separate issue that you have to deal with.

David Spoon:

You understand that?

David Spoon:

If Jesus was like, welcome back to the David Spoon experience.

David Spoon:

Thank you for joining us here at KAM 770 the truth station here in Texas.

David Spoon:

That's Ka men 770 the truth station here in Texas.

David Spoon:

Here's your trivia question.

David Spoon:

Lot escaped the city of Sodom and arrived at a cave with who?

David Spoon:

Genesis 19, verse 30.

David Spoon:

Lot escaped the city of Sodom.

David Spoon:

He and his family.

David Spoon:

He arrived at a cave with whom?

David Spoon:

Genesis, chapter 19, verse 330.

David Spoon:

If you think you know, who did he arrive at the cave with?

David Spoon:

-:

David Spoon:

You should be catching on this little clue here.

David Spoon:

Lot escaped with his family from the city of Sodom, but he got to the cave with whom?

David Spoon:

Genesis:

David Spoon:

That's what you're trying to nail down.

David Spoon:

Okay, in the meantime, we are going to do Jake's take because somebody's been sitting on a pretty good call.

David Spoon:

Let's do Jake's take.

David Spoon:

All right, my brother, what do you have for Jake's take?

David Spoon:

Well, real quick, I just want to give a round of applause to you, David, for your prediction.

David Spoon:

Thank you.

David Spoon:

Thank you.

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

So if you remember our last Jake's take, you said that the Lions would win by three points, correct?

David Spoon:

Correct.

David Spoon:

They won by two points, one point off.

David Spoon:

But we were both correct.

David Spoon:

We both picked the Lions, and the Lions won Sunday in a great game versus the Minnesota Vikings was a great, great game.

David Spoon:

And I was really kind of worried about that, that happening.

David Spoon:

And then Detroit went up by, you know, with 15 seconds left.

David Spoon:

They went up and so they won the game 31 29 to win their number one in their little division now.

David Spoon:

So we'll have another Jake's take a taking place as we get into the next weekend.

David Spoon:

But I will say that was a tight game and a lot of fun to watch.

David Spoon:

So I really enjoyed that.

David Spoon:

And Detroit's playing pretty good.

David Spoon:

That's all I'm gonna say.

David Spoon:

They're playing pretty good.

David Spoon:

Just gonna leave it there.

David Spoon:

They're playing pretty good.

David Spoon:

I'm kind of liking that.

David Spoon:

All right, now, we do have somebody that I think they're gonna respond to the trivia question, so we're gonna do that again, and then I'm gonna do a teaching that's off book.

David Spoon:

In other words, I'm gonna wanna talk about something that's important that has recently come up in the political spectrum, and I'm just going to nail down.

David Spoon:

There's an absurd, demonic, Satan oriented, Satan originated teaching that I'm going to challenge.

David Spoon:

So in lieu of that, I'm going to show you something in scripture that maybe you haven't seen.

David Spoon:

I don't know, maybe you have and probably have whatever, but I just want to make the absolute declaration in case for it.

David Spoon:

But before we get there, we do have somebody that's ready to answer trivia questions, so let's allow them to do that first.

David Spoon:

Let's send them on through.

David Spoon:

Knock, knock.

David Spoon:

This is David.

David Spoon:

Who am I talking to?

David Spoon:

It's Shell.

David Spoon:

Hi, Shell.

David Spoon:

How are you?

David Spoon:

I'm doing a lot better.

David Spoon:

A lot better.

David Spoon:

I'm glad, brother.

David Spoon:

I'm so glad.

David Spoon:

I'm so glad you're doing better last week.

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

I know.

David Spoon:

You've had the up and down and the ups and downs, and the ups and downs and then the down, down, then the up and down.

David Spoon:

But I'm just so happy that you're doing better.

David Spoon:

I really am, my brother.

David Spoon:

Really, really blessed.

David Spoon:

All right, let me set you up on the question, and then you can go from there.

David Spoon:

It's a small amount of trickery, but not a lot.

David Spoon:

So let's say.

David Spoon:

Let's set it up.

David Spoon:

Lot escaped from the city of Sodom with his family, but he got to the cave.

David Spoon:

With whom?

David Spoon:

His offspring that were female.

David Spoon:

And how many were there?

David Spoon:

Two.

David Spoon:

That is correct.

David Spoon:

Am I now?

David Spoon:

And why did the wife not make it?

David Spoon:

What happened to her?

David Spoon:

She got a little salty on him.

David Spoon:

You know what she did, brother?

David Spoon:

She looked back, turned into a pillar of salt.

David Spoon:

That's it.

David Spoon:

And that turned it aside.

David Spoon:

Like, if the Lord says, okay, walk these ten steps and don't turn around, you know what you do you walk those ten steps and you don't turn around or you're going to be very, very sorry or very, very good for, you know, crackers, one of the two.

David Spoon:

So, I mean, I'm just saying.

David Spoon:

Excellent job, my brother.

David Spoon:

Very, very good.

David Spoon:

Can we pray for you?

David Spoon:

I am doing good.

David Spoon:

Let's just pray for all of our friends out there.

David Spoon:

Okay?

David Spoon:

I agree with you.

David Spoon:

Let's pray.

David Spoon:

Because I think a lot of people are having an anxiety and a fear.

David Spoon:

And I'm just like, you know what?

David Spoon:

Stop that.

David Spoon:

You know what?

David Spoon:

Our dad is in charge.

David Spoon:

Okay.

David Spoon:

The start of your show was indicative of probably where the show needed to go today.

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

Amen, man.

David Spoon:

Amen.

David Spoon:

Let's do it.

David Spoon:

Let's pray.

David Spoon:

Let's pray for our brothers and sisters.

David Spoon:

You ready?

David Spoon:

Yes, I am.

David Spoon:

Let's do it.

David Spoon:

Father, come before you right now.

David Spoon:

I thank you for my brother.

David Spoon:

Shall I just ask you to bless his family, his health, everything that's going on, his financial status?

David Spoon:

Just bless him.

David Spoon:

It doesn't matter.

David Spoon:

Just bless him.

David Spoon:

He just needs blessings.

David Spoon:

He's not asking for them.

David Spoon:

We're asking you to put them on him.

David Spoon:

I mean, he probably asked in private time, but this is just us saying, bless our brother.

David Spoon:

But, Lord, everybody out there has got a little bit of anxiety, a little bit of trepidation about all this stuff that's going, going on.

David Spoon:

Lord, we need to not be afraid.

David Spoon:

We need to recognize that we might not know everything coming around the corner, but you're around the corner, and that's what counts.

David Spoon:

And you're there ahead of us, ready to protect us and guide us and direct us.

David Spoon:

So let there be a lessening for the very people of God who are listening to my voice of the fear and the anxiety.

David Spoon:

And let there be an increase of the joy and the peace and the confidence that none of this escapes you and you are in control.

David Spoon:

And we could rest in you.

David Spoon:

We pray that we would do that very thing.

David Spoon:

Trusting in you, resting in you, leaning on you.

David Spoon:

In Jesus name we pray.

David Spoon:

Amen.

David Spoon:

And amen.

David Spoon:

Wonderful.

David Spoon:

Thank you so much.

David Spoon:

Thank you, my brother.

David Spoon:

Love you.

David Spoon:

And the Lord.

David Spoon:

Great job, by the way.

David Spoon:

Thank you.

David Spoon:

Love you guys, too.

David Spoon:

Bye bye.

David Spoon:

All right.

David Spoon:

Bye bye.

David Spoon:

All right, so we're gonna.

David Spoon:

I'm gonna do this one thing.

David Spoon:

I gotta be careful because, you know, guys, you know me.

David Spoon:

If I go off on a tangent, I've gotten off on a couple of tangents here in five and a half years, but I'm just.

David Spoon:

This one thing is just absolutely drives me bonkers.

David Spoon:

So I'm not gonna give anybody names on anything, okay?

David Spoon:

I'm just simply going to make this scripture clear.

David Spoon:

So there's a group of people that are listen to what I'm going to say.

David Spoon:

They're doing this thing called rent a minister.

David Spoon:

Rent an evangelical.

David Spoon:

If you guys heard about it, you already know how demonically ridiculous this is.

David Spoon:

These are people that are trying to rent out ministers who will get this.

David Spoon:

This is the key.

David Spoon:

Tell people as ministers, which they're not ministers.

David Spoon:

They're absolutely false prophets.

David Spoon:

Tell people as ministers that abortion is permitted in the Bible.

David Spoon:

They're like, oh, no, the Bible supports abortion.

David Spoon:

Liar.

David Spoon:

Liars.

David Spoon:

They say, no.

David Spoon:

Nowhere in the Bible does it indicate that the children in the womb are alive in children.

David Spoon:

Well, not only would that be an absolute lie with John the Baptist, who in a very short amount of time in the womb knew Jesus was coming.

David Spoon:

And what did John the Baptist do in the womb?

David Spoon:

He leapt.

David Spoon:

He moved for joy.

David Spoon:

Telling you that it's not a fetus but a person.

David Spoon:

Let's just use that as the first one.

David Spoon:

But I want to use this other one because it's more fun.

David Spoon:

More fun.

David Spoon:

Let me define that.

David Spoon:

If anybody, I don't care how I want you to vote unless it's a true breach of conscience, then romans 14 gives this out.

David Spoon:

And so if it's a breach of conscience, you don't do it.

David Spoon:

But if you're not voting because you're lazy, then you're lazy, and that's not a good thing.

David Spoon:

And laziness is a sin.

David Spoon:

If you're not voting because you don't think it matters, you're just letting the godless people make decisions for you.

David Spoon:

Why would you do that?

David Spoon:

That's ridiculous.

David Spoon:

Okay, but if you have a breach of conscience, I have nothing to say about that.

David Spoon:

I don't touch that.

David Spoon:

That's Romans 14.

David Spoon:

I let go of that all day long.

David Spoon:

But we've been given the right and the opportunity to do that.

David Spoon:

In doing that, I've mentioned all along, you got to do this with the Lord.

David Spoon:

And you know you have to do this.

David Spoon:

Every decision you make should be in the Lord.

David Spoon:

And if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives all men generously.

David Spoon:

Well, in regards to this abortion thing, it's just freaking me out.

David Spoon:

Just have to bear with me.

David Spoon:

It's freaking me out because people are like, no, the Bible supports abortion.

David Spoon:

Absolutely, positively a lie.

David Spoon:

Not even close.

David Spoon:

But I just want to reach you this one verse so that you can understand where I'm trying to go from.

David Spoon:

And when people say it, you just take them to this one verse.

David Spoon:

There's no way to get around it.

David Spoon:

Ready?

David Spoon:

Genesis 25 22.

David Spoon:

Let me just read it to you and listen.

David Spoon:

This is the time where Abraham dies, right?

David Spoon:

Abraham lived 175 years old.

David Spoon:

Great guy breathed his last.

David Spoon:

And in Genesis 25 eight, down he goes.

David Spoon:

In the meantime, you have Isaac, and Isaac has Rebecca, and she's not getting pregnant.

David Spoon:

Remember that story?

David Spoon:

So verse 21 says, Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife because she was barren.

David Spoon:

And the Lord granted his plea.

David Spoon:

And Rebecca, his wife, conceived.

David Spoon:

Cool, not complex.

David Spoon:

Verse 22.

David Spoon:

But the children struggled together within her.

David Spoon:

I and she said, if all is well, why am I like this?

David Spoon:

So she went to inquire of the Lord, and the Lord said, two nations are in your womb.

David Spoon:

Two peoples shall be separated from your body.

David Spoon:

There are two things in here that are impossible to miss.

David Spoon:

The Bible says that the two in her womb are children.

David Spoon:

Well, it's not a child, Dave, because it's not out of the womb.

David Spoon:

You're an idiot.

David Spoon:

Every translation ever in Genesis 25 22 says children, and the children are in the womb.

David Spoon:

And then God tells her, yeah, you got two people in there that ain't gonna be pretty.

David Spoon:

They're gonna have some interesting stuff's gonna take place.

David Spoon:

And actually what's gonna happen is the older one's gonna serve the younger one.

David Spoon:

If you ever need a verse besides John the Baptist leaping in the womb, and people are like, well, that was John the Baptist.

David Spoon:

He was special.

David Spoon:

Then.

David Spoon:

Everybody in the Bible is special because every reference is the same.

David Spoon:

These are children in the eyes of God, in the womb.

David Spoon:

These are not just children.

David Spoon:

They are people.

David Spoon:

And the big thing in the kingdom of God, when you get into exodus, Leviticus, numbers, and deuteronomy, just so you can know, just getting everybody on the same page is the shedding of innocent blood is the single biggest putrid that God has about his people.

David Spoon:

And when you terminate a child in the womb and that blood leaks, you have defiled the land with sin and pollution.

David Spoon:

It's not a Snickers bar.

David Spoon:

It's death.

David Spoon:

And what people need to recognize is there's no.

David Spoon:

No.

David Spoon:

People are like, well, what about the exceptions for this?

David Spoon:

This, this.

David Spoon:

Everybody wants to talk about the exceptions at the.

David Spoon:

At the two or less percent.

David Spoon:

Nobody's talking about the 98% that people get abortions because they're selfish and they're committing murder and spilling innocent blood.

David Spoon:

You use that Genesis 25 22 and 23 with anybody you need to.

David Spoon:

There is no room.

David Spoon:

I would never tell you who to vote for.

David Spoon:

But I would tell you, you vote Bible and then it becomes clear.

David Spoon:

But you decide.

David Spoon:

And the reason that I bring that up is because this group is trying to promote false ministers who are saying that the Bible approves abortion.

David Spoon:

They are lying agents of Satan.

David Spoon:

And anybody connected to them and with them, unless they repent, will enjoy hell together.

David Spoon:

And it sickens me.

David Spoon:

It absolutely sickens me.

David Spoon:

I don't get off too many tangents, but this one, you cannot escape this.

David Spoon:

God says there's two people in you.

David Spoon:

The scripture says the children are struggling within her.

David Spoon:

It's not an issue for science, it's an issue for morality.

David Spoon:

And it's immoral to kill innocent life, period.

David Spoon:

And if people don't like it, don't listen to the show ever again.

David Spoon:

I don't care.

David Spoon:

That's just the stand we take because that is just further proof that God is a God of life.

David Spoon:

And it's the people, because of sin that choose death and their judgment will fit the crime.

David Spoon:

Period.

David Spoon:

All right, we'll take our break and then we'll come back.

David Spoon:

You are listening to the David Spoon experience right here on KAm 770, the truth station here in Texas.

David Spoon:

Short break.

David Spoon:

We'll be back.

David Spoon:

Don't go anywhere.

David Spoon:

David Spoon:

David Spoon:

Um, Dave, this is a nice radio station.

Cowpunchsites.com, dad.

David Spoon:

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

David Spoon:

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

David Spoon:

Do you know how you keep going?

David Spoon:

Do you know how you keep putting 1ft in front of the other?

David Spoon:

Do you know how you don't give up?

David Spoon:

Do you know how you don't quit even though you want to quit?

David Spoon:

You fix your eyes on Jesus.

David Spoon:

You see with God, when Peter went out of that boat and stepped on that water, there is no natural principle in the world, in any normal universe that would allow Peter to walk on water.

David Spoon:

But he did one thing well.

David Spoon:

He looked at Jesus, and as he was looking at Jesus, the Bible says he walked on the water.

David Spoon:

He looked at his situation, just focusing at Jesus.

David Spoon:

Then he took his eyes off of Jesus and he saw the winds and the waves and he sank.

David Spoon:

He lost the correct attitude when he stopped seeing.

David Spoon:

With Jesus in the picture, whatever you see, whatever you face, whatever you encounter, do not see it or face it in the natural.

David Spoon:

For we walk by faith and not by sight.

David Spoon:

So everything you see, you must insert the picture of Jesus.

David Spoon:

The David spoon experience, sometimes all the loose, sometimes praise the Lord.

David Spoon:

Welcome back to the David Spoon experience.

David Spoon:

Thank you for joining us here at KAAM 770, the truth station here in Texas.

David Spoon:

That's k 770 the truth station here in Texas, where the entire show is going to places we've never been before.

David Spoon:

What's that in Star Trek?

David Spoon:

Something like that.

David Spoon:

All right, here is your next trivia a question.

David Spoon:

You guys should get this, but if you give an answer, don't give any more than the answer to this.

David Spoon:

I don't want anybody else giving additional information because the last trivia question, if we get it in, will be on the heels of this.

David Spoon:

Who was the prisoner other than Jesus that Pilate suggested that should be considered for release?

David Spoon:

In other words, he's going to release one of the prisoners.

David Spoon:

One was Jesus.

David Spoon:

Who was the other one?

David Spoon:

Matthew 20 717.

David Spoon:

Matthew 20 717.

David Spoon:

If you think you know the answer, you can reach out to us.

David Spoon:

-:

David Spoon:

It was either Jesus or this guy.

David Spoon:

Matthew 20 717 is your reference point.

David Spoon:

I will now, for the first time in the entire show, which tells you how bad I'm getting at this, direct you towards the website.

David Spoon:

So I want to say a couple things about that without getting too deep into the goofy stuff, right?

David Spoon:

The money that you guys give helps us keep the ministry going, period.

David Spoon:

It's not nothing else I say about it.

David Spoon:

If we don't get enough money, we don't.

David Spoon:

We can't do the ministry.

David Spoon:

We can only put so much on a credit cardinal.

David Spoon:

So if you are giving already, thank you.

David Spoon:

Don't think this is directed at you.

David Spoon:

Of course, if you want to give, but you can't give, this is not directed at you either.

David Spoon:

If you're in a place to give and you're not sure you want to give, then we will ask you to prayerfully consider it.

David Spoon:

But no matter where you're at on this spectrum, I need you to pray for us.

David Spoon:

I don't think that's bizarre or weird.

David Spoon:

I need you guys to pray for us.

David Spoon:

I only ask for help in a couple of realms, right?

David Spoon:

And this is one of those realms.

David Spoon:

And we're not going to give you a Lamborghini.

David Spoon:

We're not going to give you a whistle.

David Spoon:

I'm not giving you a donut.

David Spoon:

I'm not giving you anything.

David Spoon:

It's between you and God and the giving.

David Spoon:

And we will do our best to use the money to advance the kingdom of God the best way we can.

David Spoon:

That's it.

David Spoon:

Here's the scripture for the day on this giving.

David Spoon:

Whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly.

David Spoon:

Whoever sows bountifully will reap bountifully.

David Spoon:

Each one must give as he has decided.

David Spoon:

Decided in his heart.

David Spoon:

That's the first point.

David Spoon:

You've got to decide this in your heart, not reluctantly, because that's not the kind of thing we want to see.

David Spoon:

Not under compulsion.

David Spoon:

No manipulation, not just for me, not from the church you attend or the ministries you support.

David Spoon:

No manipulation.

David Spoon:

Because God loves a cheerful giver.

David Spoon:

He wants you to give it with that cheerful spirit.

David Spoon:

That's exactly what I'm saying.

David Spoon:

Check it out.

David Spoon:

Plus, there's a bazillion other things on the website.

David Spoon:

Check it out at the website.

David Spoon:

He must increase.org prayer request he must increase.org praise report he must increase.org dot looking to give to this ministry he must increase.org dot confused by what's happening right now.

David Spoon:

He must increase.org dot he must increase.org as a duly designated representative of the city, I order you to cease any and all supernatural activity and return forthwith to your place of origin or to the nearest convenient parallel dimension.

David Spoon:

See the parallel dimension thing?

David Spoon:

That's what's so funny.

David Spoon:

Or to the nearest parallel dimension.

David Spoon:

Okay.

David Spoon:

All right.

David Spoon:

Before we take this call, just reminding everybody I'm not texting till after four today.

David Spoon:

If I text you, it's because I got a break in the middle of the things I'm doing, but probably not till after four.

David Spoon:

We do have somebody on the telephone to answer the trivia question.

David Spoon:

Let's send them on through.

David Spoon:

Knock, knock.

David Spoon:

This is David.

David Spoon:

Who am I talking to?

David Spoon:

This is niecy.

David Spoon:

Hello.

David Spoon:

How are you?

David Spoon:

I am blessed.

David Spoon:

How are you doing today?

David Spoon:

I'm doing wonderful.

David Spoon:

I'm just.

David Spoon:

I'm just glad that we have an audience that likes to go with the flow.

David Spoon:

I mean, I am.

David Spoon:

It's just so much better.

David Spoon:

It's just like, we'll just do our best to follow the Lord and see where we end up and know that he always, by his graciousness, leads us and guides us.

David Spoon:

It's just phenomenal.

David Spoon:

So, I mean, I love that.

David Spoon:

I love that.

David Spoon:

So I'm doing great if, when we follow him, we always end where we need to be.

David Spoon:

Exactly.

David Spoon:

Exactly.

David Spoon:

Right.

David Spoon:

Exactly.

David Spoon:

See?

David Spoon:

Bing.

David Spoon:

Good.

David Spoon:

You get a golf clap for that.

David Spoon:

Hold on, hold on.

David Spoon:

That's the golf clap.

David Spoon:

Okay.

David Spoon:

All right.

David Spoon:

Let me set you up.

David Spoon:

It's a very short clap.

David Spoon:

Let me set you up on the trivia question.

David Spoon:

Who was the prisoner, other than Jesus, that Pilate suggested could be considered for release?

David Spoon:

,:

David Spoon:

Who was that, Barbara?

David Spoon:

That is correct.

David Spoon:

It's either going to be Barbaris or Barabbas or any of those.

David Spoon:

Any kind of thing like that.

David Spoon:

It's like, that's that guy.

David Spoon:

In fact, they actually did a movie later on, like about 50 years ago on Barabbas.

David Spoon:

It was really amazing that perhaps he converted.

David Spoon:

So on and so forth.

David Spoon:

That's neither here nor there.

David Spoon:

What is amazing, though, is that the people had a choice and they were like, give us the good guy to crucify.

David Spoon:

Like, what?

David Spoon:

It's like, what's so weird?

David Spoon:

But they did it.

David Spoon:

So how are you doing, and how can we pray for you?

David Spoon:

Well, I want to send a special prayer for the person that you was talking about in root.

David Spoon:

Crane that wanted was into prison for praying silently.

David Spoon:

Wait, say that again for me.

David Spoon:

Okay, say it again a little to say it again.

David Spoon:

A special prayer for the person in Ukraine that was sent to prison for silently praying.

David Spoon:

Oh, yeah.

David Spoon:

You got it.

David Spoon:

Absolutely.

David Spoon:

Isn't that amazing?

David Spoon:

Doesn't that blow your mind.

David Spoon:

Aren't you sitting there going, really?

David Spoon:

That.

David Spoon:

That's what you send people to prison for?

David Spoon:

It's like, what?

David Spoon:

What?

David Spoon:

Right?

David Spoon:

It is just the Bible unfolding.

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

We will be crucified for his.

David Spoon:

In his name, for speaking of him praying.

David Spoon:

It's just unfolding.

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

I.

David Spoon:

And I just want to say that guy's treasure.

David Spoon:

That guy's treasure going to be that guy.

David Spoon:

Huge mansion.

David Spoon:

Huge mansion.

David Spoon:

That's all I'm saying.

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

Just pray for his covenant protection because he's standing on Bible and what he believed in.

David Spoon:

As we should.

David Spoon:

Let's do it.

David Spoon:

Let's pray for it.

David Spoon:

Right?

David Spoon:

Let's pray for him right now.

David Spoon:

Let's pray.

David Spoon:

You ready?

David Spoon:

Yes.

David Spoon:

All right.

David Spoon:

Let's pray.

David Spoon:

Father, we come before you right now.

David Spoon:

What an awesome gesture that we should be praying for this man who prayed silently to you, to honor you, to bless other people, to be a blessing, not trying to create any problems.

David Spoon:

And, Lord, they attacked him.

David Spoon:

They went after him.

David Spoon:

He wouldn't deny his prayer, and they threw him in jail.

David Spoon:

Lord, it's bizarre.

David Spoon:

It's almost like you think there's got to be a Joseph thing connected.

David Spoon:

We look at that, think that's so strange.

David Spoon:

But, Lord, we pray for protection and courage for that man and for that family and that there would be nothing that would come of that, that would be detrimental to his physical or spiritual or psychological life.

David Spoon:

But instead, Lord, it would be a PowerPoint for him to move forward in your kingdom, being willing, more than willing, to sacrifice for the glory of the kingdom of God and for the advancement of the kingdom of God.

David Spoon:

Bless your servant and give him high favorite and release him from his situation and deliver him.

David Spoon:

And then let him testify to the value of knowing that you are pleased with your servants who will do anything to honor you.

David Spoon:

Bless this situation and let the great things of testimony come out of it.

David Spoon:

We know you'll work it together for good.

David Spoon:

We ask you to make it even great and that you would put a new song in his mouth and put his feet upon a rock and let him sing your praises in Jesus name.

David Spoon:

Amen.

David Spoon:

And amen.

David Spoon:

Amen.

David Spoon:

Amen.

David Spoon:

Amen.

David Spoon:

It's very, very, very thoughtful for you.

David Spoon:

Very, very considerate on your end.

David Spoon:

And I just want to acknowledge you.

David Spoon:

That's the right christian spirit, the right Christ like spirit you had there.

David Spoon:

And I love that.

David Spoon:

So thank you for that.

David Spoon:

Thank you for acknowledging that.

David Spoon:

But, you know, as we keep serving his word and preaching his word, that could be us one day.

David Spoon:

Yep.

David Spoon:

We all need covering and protection to stand on.

David Spoon:

Bible.

David Spoon:

Exactly right.

David Spoon:

Exactly right.

David Spoon:

Through many tribulations, one must enter the kingdom of heaven.

David Spoon:

That's exactly right.

David Spoon:

Excellent.

David Spoon:

Excellent job.

David Spoon:

Thank you for taking my call.

David Spoon:

I have to get back to work, but as usual, and it is always an honor and a pleasure to listen to your station on my lunch break.

David Spoon:

No, thank you so.

David Spoon:

That's very kind of you to say.

David Spoon:

I appreciate that.

David Spoon:

Have a good day.

David Spoon:

You, too.

David Spoon:

Bye bye bye.

David Spoon:

All right.

David Spoon:

Phenomenal.

David Spoon:

Yeah.

David Spoon:

We didn't even go close to what we were doing today.

David Spoon:

Well, so what?

David Spoon:

So what?

David Spoon:

All right, so here's the deal, okay?

David Spoon:

I'm gonna teach something that has nothing to do with anything, but it's a good one, and this is a perfect way to end it.

David Spoon:

And I didn't even think about this, but this is deuteronomy 431.

David Spoon:

Listen to this.

David Spoon:

And you know that sound?

David Spoon:

That's going out now.

David Spoon:

He won't fail.

David Spoon:

He won't fail.

David Spoon:

You guys read that song, right?

David Spoon:

Listen to this.

David Spoon:

Deuteronomy 431.

David Spoon:

For the Lord, your God, is a compassionate God.

David Spoon:

He will not fail you, nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant with your fathers, which he swore to them.

David Spoon:

Wow.

David Spoon:

Deuteronomy 431.

David Spoon:

Deuteronomy is loaded with material.

David Spoon:

I just want to make sure you understand this.

David Spoon:

So last week we talked about the rainbow, right?

David Spoon:

And we talked about God.

David Spoon:

It's God's rainbow.

David Spoon:

And for those that don't know, I'm bringing this up because I'm kind of closing out that portion of chapter nine.

David Spoon:

The rainbow.

David Spoon:

The rainbow that's in the sky is seven colors.

David Spoon:

The rainbow that has been.

David Spoon:

That people have tried to hijack is six colors.

David Spoon:

In case you didn't know that.

David Spoon:

There's a big difference between seven and six, especially symbolically.

David Spoon:

One is more for God and the other is for man.

David Spoon:

That ought to tell you everything you got to know about the rainbow.

David Spoon:

The rainbow is God's property.

David Spoon:

The fake rainbow, the pseudo rainbow, is man's property.

David Spoon:

Get that.

David Spoon:

All right, now, going back to deuteronomy 431.

David Spoon:

Just had to get that out there.

David Spoon:

The Lord your God is a compassionate God.

David Spoon:

It's not that he doesn't know we make mistakes.

David Spoon:

He does know we make mistakes.

David Spoon:

He still chose us.

David Spoon:

We're going to make.

David Spoon:

Maybe the goal is not to make mistakes, but if we do, he's not abandoning us.

David Spoon:

In fact, the scripture says that Jesus is our advocate, which is like a defense attorney, and so he's aware of where we're at, and he's compassionate.

David Spoon:

And he says this, he won't fail.

David Spoon:

He will not fail you.

David Spoon:

God has never failed you, not once.

David Spoon:

And I want to point this out, and it's a fair statement to make, he has never failed anybody once.

David Spoon:

Why is he going to start with you?

David Spoon:

He won't.

David Spoon:

And he's not only going to never for nail, never, never fail us.

David Spoon:

He's never going to forget, what do we mean by the covenant?

David Spoon:

This covenant that we have is produced by the redeeming work of Jesus Christ.

David Spoon:

And he will never forget it.

David Spoon:

He will never fail us.

David Spoon:

He will never forget it.

David Spoon:

He will never forget his commitment to us.

David Spoon:

We forget that he makes a commitment to us.

David Spoon:

We forget that he's taken a stand on our behalf saying, I will never ever, I will never fail you.

David Spoon:

I will not destroy you.

David Spoon:

I will not forget our covenant, that it will never happen.

David Spoon:

We forget that he makes that commitment.

David Spoon:

He doesn't forget.

David Spoon:

See, that's why, that's why it's so important for you to understand this is all about God.

David Spoon:

Because if we, if it was up to us, we'd go, what about this?

David Spoon:

And what about this?

David Spoon:

And what about this?

David Spoon:

All out of ignorance, even job.

David Spoon:

That's right.

David Spoon:

Yes, he did have pride.

David Spoon:

But his sin was he justified himself rather than Goddess because he thought I'm a pretty good guy.

David Spoon:

Shouldn't have to go through this.

David Spoon:

And God's like, bragging about him to Satan.

David Spoon:

God never fails.

David Spoon:

God is compassionate.

David Spoon:

He'll never forget the covenant.

David Spoon:

He makes this commitment for you and I.

David Spoon:

Matthew, chapter one.

David Spoon:

What was his name?

David Spoon:

In Matthew, chapter one, Emmanuel.

David Spoon:

God with us.

David Spoon:

What did he say in Matthew, chapter 28?

David Spoon:

I'll always be with you, even to the end of the age.

David Spoon:

In his birth, he says, I'm always with you.

David Spoon:

In his ascension, he says, I'm always with you.

David Spoon:

He will never fail us.

David Spoon:

He will not destroy us.

David Spoon:

He will not forget his commitment to us.

David Spoon:

He is compassionate to us.

David Spoon:

That is the God we serve.

David Spoon:

That is the God we have fellowship with.

David Spoon:

Not the world's version of who God is, but God's declaration of who he is.

David Spoon:

Get it?

David Spoon:

All right.

David Spoon:

You've been listening to the David Spoon experience right here on Kam 770, the truth station here in Texas.

David Spoon:

22 and a half hour break, then we'll come back.

David Spoon:

More insanity with spoonanity.

David Spoon:

Talk to you then.

David Spoon

David Spoon was born and raised in a Jewish home in Detroit, Michigan. He attended a private Hebrew school called Hillel Hebrew Academy. David was bar mitzvah-ed at the age of thirteen. Not long after, he was involved in drug abuse and trafficking. After hearing the Gospel for the first time at age seventeen, David accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. A few months later, David had a dramatic experience with God. Immediately set free from years of excessive drug use, he committed himself to ministry and to furthering the Kingdom of God.

He attended Arizona Bible College, Northern Arizona University, and Life Pacific College, graduating summa-cum-laude in their Ministry and Leadership program. He also graduated with honors from Regent University with a master’s degree in Theological Studies and earned his Doctor of Ministry degree in Strategic Christian Ministry at Liberty University.

He is one of a few individuals holding ministerial ordinations from three separate denominations: Heritage Free Baptist Organization, 1981; Independent Pentecostal Ministers Association, 1985; and Vineyard Valley Association, 1988. He was also the Chaplain for the Flagstaff Police Department. In addition, David was the senior pastor of Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Flagstaff.

In addition, David started and co-hosted two different live Christian call-in radio talk shows. He hosted the very popular radio show “The David Spoon Experience” on KPRZ 1210 and a show called “To Know Him,” which aired on 88.9 on the F.M. dial-in Temecula, California at 1:00 p.m., Monday through Fridays. He was also the Director of Local Ministry for Salem Media Group in San Diego, California.

David is married to his best friend, Noelle. He has three children and seven grandchildren, plus their two dogs named Levi and Bert. On March 18th, 2019, he started “The David Spoon Experience” in Texas and is growing with his audience of awesome believers and non-believers alike.

He is the President of He Must Increase Ministry, a 501c3 ministry, and is hosting (again) the live daily radio show “The David Spoon Experience” with DJR Broadcasting in KAAM, on the 770 A.M. radio dial. The show is also on various apps and the Internet.

David is a Jewish-Christian, Bapti-Costal, Cal-Minian, Manifold Millennialist.

Just ask him.
