The David Spoon Experience 1-30-24 part 2
1) In Romans chapter 1, verse 25, Paul does not mince words. He condemns those who exchange the truth of God for a lie and worship the creature rather than the Creator. This passage is one that the woke and LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ+ community cannot tolerate. But we do not compromise the word of God to please people. We serve the living God and if people oppose us for it, we are ready to suffer. We will not apologize for standing in the truth, by the truth, and for the truth. Because we live in his truth.
2) People choose to believe a lie about God in order to escape from his accountability. They prefer to worship the creation rather than the Creator. This is the main theme of chapter 1 in the book of Romans. God, who is the source of all life, deserves eternal praise. But these people, who owe their existence to him, have decided to rob him of the glory and the service he deserves. They live by their feelings, not by his will. People who live by their feelings are not connected to God. Because we are commanded to live by love, and love is a choice.
3) In verse 26, we find some of the most severe words for those who hate God and reject his commands. God gives them up to dishonorable passions. He specifically mentions women who exchange natural relations for unnatural ones and men who abandon the natural use of women and burn with lust for other men. They mock God with their sin.
4) It does not matter what the false prophets from academia, the media, the entertainment industry, or politics say about this. Even if they include a senile old president. Their opinions are irrelevant. They do not speak for God. Only God's children speak for God. And the truth is that people who engage in homosexual relations will face the penalty they deserve.
5) Can these same people be saved? Absolutely. God can redeem anyone who softens their heart and turns to him in surrender. But if they continue to be defiant, they will face God's judgment. If that were not the case, then God would not be JUST to those who have followed him
