01-31-2025 part 2: Miracles in a Moment: Can God Really Change Everything?

Dr. David Spoon elucidates the profound impact of our perceptions of God on the manifestations of His power in our lives. He contends that our understanding of divine capabilities significantly influences our spiritual experiences and outcomes. Throughout the discourse, Dr. Spoon emphasizes the necessity of recognizing that the timing and manner of divine intervention are solely determined by God, irrespective of our personal expectations or demands. He further explores the concept of God's patience and enduring love, even amidst our flawed perceptions and actions. As the episode unfolds, listeners are encouraged to reflect on their own faith and relationship with the divine, highlighting the importance of drawing nearer to God as we navigate life's complexities.

In an engaging exploration of faith and divine capability, we delve into the complex relationship between human perception and God’s omnipotence. Central to our discussion is the assertion that one's understanding of what God can accomplish directly impacts the manifestations of His power in their life. We dissect the implications of this premise, emphasizing that an inflated view of our own understanding can obstruct the divine possibilities that are readily available to us. This segment serves as a clarion call for listeners to embrace a more nuanced understanding of their faith, encouraging humility and receptivity to God’s work.

The conversation further transitions into a discussion on the nature of divine timing, where we contend that the human desire for immediate results often conflicts with God’s sovereign timeline. By sharing personal anecdotes that illustrate our common misunderstandings of divine patience, we highlight the necessity for believers to cultivate a posture of trust and surrender. These narratives not only inform but also entertain, revealing the humorous aspects of human folly in contrast to divine grace.

As we draw to a close, we reflect on the biblical assurance that each individual is inscribed on the palms of God’s hands, reinforcing the intimate relationship He desires with us. This powerful imagery serves as a reminder of God’s unwavering presence and commitment to our lives, culminating in a heartfelt prayer for all listeners to reaffirm their faith amidst the complexities of life.

Takeaways:

  • Our perception of God's capabilities significantly influences the manifestations of His kingdom in our lives.
  • The timing and method of God's actions are determined by His divine wisdom, not our expectations or demands.
  • The biblical narrative illustrates God's profound patience and grace, even when we act foolishly or misunderstand His intentions.
  • God's love and commitment to His children is symbolically represented through the idea of being inscribed on His palms, illustrating our closeness to Him.

Speaker A:

And now for something completely different.

Speaker A:

Here's what's coming up this hour on today's Experience.

Speaker A:

It's fantastic.

Speaker A:

Phenomenal, Always fun, usually somewhat fascinating.

Speaker A:

Friday, as we head into the weekend not being afraid, even if the earth gives way or the mountains fall into the seas, because our help comes from the Lord.

Speaker A:

So first, come on now, little buckaroos.

Speaker A:

Let's give a bag, bag, bag, bag, hand clap for the Lord because it's Friday.

Speaker A:

I hate when they do that in church.

Speaker A:

So don't do that.

Speaker A:

During this show, the first DD DDD we're going to tackle is understanding our perception of what we think of God can and what he can and cannot do.

Speaker A:

Now, how we think about what God can do is impacts what God does in our lives.

Speaker A:

Ooh.

Speaker A:

Next, the agenda is understood understanding something that often eludes both you and me, probably even more so me.

Speaker A:

Because we think we know better.

Speaker A:

We're great about God.

Speaker A:

What's great about God, sorry, is his patience with us.

Speaker A:

Because even when we act super duper goofy, he endures with us.

Speaker A:

What we want is to see the Lord do things.

Speaker A:

What we want is to see him active, to see manifestations of his kingdom in our lives.

Speaker A:

Unfortunately, how we want to see it becomes the problem.

Speaker A:

Additionally, we want to see it on a when cycle too.

Speaker A:

So the when and the how are Gods alone to determine, even though we tell them when and how to do things?

Speaker A:

And finally.

Speaker A:

Oh, this should be fun.

Speaker A:

We close out the week and go into the weekend with a classic encouragement from Isaiah.

Speaker A:

Many people have a very dark or negative approach to tattoos because of a certain scriptures that they've run around with.

Speaker A:

But the ultimate irony of that statement is that God has tattoos of you and me.

Speaker A:

The ink is not the problem.

Speaker A:

The purpose of the ink is so buckle up.

Speaker A:

David Spoon's life has been an experience.

Speaker A:

While growing up in a Jewish family, he made a wrong turn towards drug abuse.

Speaker A:

Then David Spoon found Jesus Christ and his life completely changed.

Speaker A:

The more he studied the gospel, the more he wanted to share his experiences with others.

Speaker A:

After 35 years of ministry, David discovered a new path of service.

Speaker A:

He joined KAAM and this radio program began.

Speaker A:

You're about to hear the David Spoon Experience.

Speaker A:

Welcome to the David Spoon Experience.

Speaker A:

Local, national and heavenly talk.

Speaker A:

Here's what else we're looking at during the show.

Speaker A:

Lessons for surviving, living and prevailing politics, entertainment and current events, personal revelations, spiritual observations, my life's insanities and oy veys.

Speaker A:

So much more.

Speaker A:

Now, we've told you before, it's not professional Radio.

Speaker A:

And just to make sure you understand how much it is not professional radio, we will talk to the Huckleberry Hound of professional radio.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker A:

Now I've opened up the entire cartoon.

Speaker A:

Lots.

Speaker A:

The Huckleberry Hound of professional Radio.

Speaker A:

Our very own Jam in Jacob Jam.

Speaker A:

And Jacob is the David Spoon Experience.

Speaker A:

Professional radio.

Speaker A:

No, it is not David.

Speaker A:

And I'm just impressed how you come up with these.

Speaker A:

You'd have no idea how many there are.

Speaker A:

That's all I'm going to say to you.

Speaker A:

The Huckleberry does have a huge list.

Speaker A:

I'm just going back to my when I was like 8, 7, 6, watching cartoons.

Speaker A:

Anyhow, look, it's not professional, it's just radio.

Speaker A:

Now, I know a lot of you out there and you're like, did you really say something about tats?

Speaker A:

And God has a tat and he's walking around with a T.

Speaker A:

It's like, yes.

Speaker A:

And you're gonna see where.

Speaker A:

And you're just gonna go, no way.

Speaker A:

Relax.

Speaker A:

I'm not sitting there saying, God's walking around.

Speaker A:

I'm just gonna show you a passage and show you.

Speaker A:

It ain't the ink that's the problem, it's the purpose.

Speaker A:

You'll understand when we get there.

Speaker A:

Bottom line to this process is one, we wanna know how you're doing.

Speaker A:

Now, I'm gonna be praying for Keith Oakley in a little bit, but I want you to be aware, you too can reach out.

Speaker A:

If it's a praise report, we'd love to hear it.

Speaker A:

If it's a prayer request, let's bring it.

Speaker A:

If it's something you just wanna share, it's on your heart.

Speaker A:

Cool.

Speaker A:

That's cool.

Speaker A:

Our goal here is simple.

Speaker A:

We are geared towards encouraging one another to draw closer to the Lord as the return of Jesus Christ gets closer and closer.

Speaker A:

That's our goal.

Speaker A:

To that effect is how we do things.

Speaker A:

That doesn't mean we're against politics.

Speaker A:

It doesn't mean we're against this, that we don't have any problem with it.

Speaker A:

What we have is a desire, not a problem, a desire to have everybody draw near.

Speaker A:

In James 4.

Speaker A:

8, it says, Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.

Speaker A:

We believe that is the best solution on every single problem ever.

Speaker A:

And if Adam and Eve had done that instead of turning the other direction, we'd be in a whole different place and you wouldn't be listening to this show.

Speaker A:

So let's just put it on the table.

Speaker A:

If there's something you need prayer for, is there something you want to share a praise about.

Speaker A:

If there's something you just want to that's on your heart, great.

Speaker A:

If you're gonna be able to answer trivia, we're gonna give you that chance.

Speaker A:

First, we're gonna pray for Keith Oakley.

Speaker A:

Keith is a brother that's been listening to the show for years, and I want you to seriously consider our February buddy process.

Speaker A:

Keith's not doing good.

Speaker A:

He's really struggling physically.

Speaker A:

He's got a multitude of different issues.

Speaker A:

Kind of reminds you of a brother, a scenario.

Speaker A:

And we are just gonna pray that God will touch him or grab hold of him and just squeeze him in love on him.

Speaker A:

That's what we're gonna pray, and we're gonna ask God's will to be done.

Speaker A:

And you think, well, is it okay to pray a prayer where you're just like, lord, is it time?

Speaker A:

Can you take me?

Speaker A:

It's like, of course it's okay to pray it as long as you submit it.

Speaker A:

Jesus asked for the very cup that he was born to drink to be taken from him, but then surrendered it into the father's hands.

Speaker A:

That's the key, you understand?

Speaker A:

o when you're looking at Mark:

Speaker A:

Let's pray for Keith.

Speaker A:

I want you to stretch your faith with mine and pray over him as he's a brother in the Lord and somebody that you will, at some point be dancing on streets of gold with.

Speaker A:

Let's pray.

Speaker A:

Father, we come before you right now.

Speaker A:

We thank you for Keith.

Speaker A:

I thank you for his testimonies and his sharing, and he's been a blessing for our show.

Speaker A:

And we just ask you, Lord, to pour your blessing into him.

Speaker A:

We ask you to encourage him, to strengthen him and to lift him up.

Speaker A:

Lord, he's going through so many different elements, I can't even count them all.

Speaker A:

But you know each and every moment of his discomfort.

Speaker A:

So we ask you to please bring your healing or.

Speaker A:

Or please bring your presence and overwhelm him with your existence.

Speaker A:

But we're asking you to reach into our brother's life and to comfort him so that the pain and the difficulty will not prevail against the praise and the divine interaction he has with you.

Speaker A:

I ask you, Lord, to bless him.

Speaker A:

Everybody who's praying with me asks you to bless him.

Speaker A:

Pour your grace and mercy into his heart and mind.

Speaker A:

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior.

Speaker A:

Amen and amen.

Speaker A:

Okay, so consider taking on Keith as one of your February buddies.

Speaker A:

Remember the February buddy process not overly complex.

Speaker A:

You hear about somebody, somebody calls in, somebody connects, and you think, man, wow, wow, wow.

Speaker A:

And then pray for that person.

Speaker A:

Throughout the month of February when you're praying, you won't remember every single moment pray probably, but you can be praying for them, and that would be a great blessing to pick that up and to be connected to them.

Speaker A:

Again, if you have something you want to share, like a praise report, a prayer request, or something you want to share at all, not a problem.

Speaker A:

If it's a question, try not to drop a deep theological well, what's the difference between Amalettanism and pre Melenism?

Speaker A:

Because we're teaching that on Thursdays.

Speaker A:

Try to stay more into the more simplistic questions, but I will do my best to answer, and I'll just say that right there.

Speaker A:

You can ask what you want.

Speaker A:

I just don't know if I have time to answer it.

Speaker A:

Also, we do Bible trivia.

Speaker A:

Who's feeling very brave about Bible trivia?

Speaker A:

Let's see if you are feeling brave.

Speaker A:

What is the collective name of the first five books of the Bible?

Speaker A:

Is it Terah, Terah, Torah, or Torah?

Speaker A:

Is it the Terah, the Terah, the Torah, or the Torah?

Speaker A:

What are the first five books of the Bible collective name for the first five books of the Bible called?

Speaker A:

Between those four choices, Terah, Terah, Torah or Torah?

Speaker A:

If you think you know the answer, you can reach out to us.

Speaker A:

-:

Speaker A:

-:

Speaker A:

-:

Speaker A:

-:

Speaker A:

Or you can send an email david@hemustincrease.org so you have some options there.

Speaker A:

That's kind of nice.

Speaker A:

Have some options.

Speaker A:

Pretty nice.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

All right, so your question, yes, it's pretty straightforward.

Speaker A:

What is the collective name of the first five books of the of the Bible?

Speaker A:

Terah, Terah, Torah, or Torah?

Speaker A:

Quick update on things that are taking place.

Speaker A:

We are switching into some other books.

Speaker A:

We are continuing our teaching process.

Speaker A:

Revelation's gonna get really, really good.

Speaker A:

So I really encourage you, if you've not listened to it, to try and go back to some of the podcasts and listen to the Thursday, the first 30 minutes.

Speaker A:

Just as a reference point.

Speaker A:

If you need prayer but you don't want to do it on the air, on the website is a place to do praise reports and prayer requests.

Speaker A:

Now just think about this.

Speaker A:

If you want to keep it private, you Can.

Speaker A:

Nobody will know about it.

Speaker A:

It's just personal.

Speaker A:

If you have something that you want the public to know about, you can share it that way.

Speaker A:

Some people are more comfortable doing that than doing radio.

Speaker A:

Not a problem.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

We will be glad to do that for you.

Speaker A:

Our goal is to help each one of us.

Speaker A:

Just stretching out our arms, all of us stretching out our arms as far as we can and bringing in as many as we can together towards the Lord.

Speaker A:

That's the picture we have of the ministry.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

We do have somebody on the line.

Speaker A:

They are ready to answer the trivia question.

Speaker A:

Let's send them on through.

Speaker A:

Knock, knock.

Speaker A:

This is David.

Speaker A:

Who am I talking to here?

Speaker A:

He's Tobias.

Speaker A:

Shalom, brother.

Speaker A:

Hey, brother.

Speaker A:

What's happening?

Speaker A:

Hey.

Speaker A:

Just rejoicing in the Lord.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it's a nice day out, huh?

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

It was not as rainy.

Speaker A:

I did take the dog for a walk.

Speaker A:

I thought that was good.

Speaker A:

But then he still got barky at about 1:30.

Speaker A:

Anyway, we'll just move on from there.

Speaker A:

Anyway, let's set up the triv question.

Speaker A:

Here we go.

Speaker A:

The collective name of the first five books, is it Terah Tira Torah or Torah Torah?

Speaker A:

Tora.

Speaker A:

Now, you have to like that because I used Tera.

Speaker A:

So that's Abe's father.

Speaker A:

But then what's too Ra?

Speaker A:

I have no idea.

Speaker A:

That's kind of like a football charge.

Speaker A:

Tura scores.

Speaker A:

Tura.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Hey.

Speaker A:

God bless you everybody and praying for everybody and for our beloved David Spoon Experience Ministry.

Speaker A:

So you guys are a blessing.

Speaker A:

I know I'm not perfect, but thank you for loving me and praying for me and I'm praying for all of you.

Speaker A:

Amen, brother.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Bye bye.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Bye bye.

Speaker A:

All right, let's do our DNA.

Speaker A:

D stands for Draw closer to the Lord daily.

Speaker A:

So still checking on the dictionary?

Speaker A:

I did check again and I found out as I checked a second time, that daily still means daily.

Speaker A:

Is this funny?

Speaker A:

If you check the word daily in the dictionary daily, it's still the same definition.

Speaker A:

It's daily.

Speaker A:

Spend time with the Lord daily.

Speaker A:

Okay, now why is that important?

Speaker A:

Because everything else flows from that.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

That's D.

Speaker A:

N.

Speaker A:

Never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.

Speaker A:

And I like what people have been saying and they've been calling up, look, I don't understand everything in the framework of scripture.

Speaker A:

I know I get a lot, but I don't get all of it.

Speaker A:

I don't understand every nuance.

Speaker A:

And I'll share with you this.

Speaker A:

Well, I'll share with you this dream that I had, okay?

Speaker A:

And I'll be careful about how I share it.

Speaker A:

So when I first became a Christian, I had read the New Testament.

Speaker A:

I had mentioned this before.

Speaker A:

And after I read the New Testament for the first time.

Speaker A:

This is in that first, very, very beginning part.

Speaker A:

I told the Lord, I said this to God.

Speaker A:

This is where you got to learn to be careful when you're saying things.

Speaker A:

I told this to God.

Speaker A:

I said, okay, well, I read it.

Speaker A:

Okay, I get it.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

It's not that complex now, if you remember.

Speaker A:

And this is in some of the testimony that I share.

Speaker A:

That night I had a dream.

Speaker A:

And in the dream, I was in a fishing boat.

Speaker A:

And in the fishing boat, I had a fishing fishing pole, which I don't fish, in case you're wondering.

Speaker A:

Not that I'm against it.

Speaker A:

I'm just not a fisherman, like, that way.

Speaker A:

And so I've got the fishing pole out there, and then it's bobbing at the top of the water.

Speaker A:

And the Lord in my dream pulls me out of the boat, pulls me under the water and has me look.

Speaker A:

And he shows the level I know.

Speaker A:

And the fish hook that's on there with the bait is like 3 or 4 inches below the surface.

Speaker A:

He goes, this is where you're at.

Speaker A:

And then the Lord plunged me deep into the water.

Speaker A:

I mean, 150ft, 200ft, whatever the case may be.

Speaker A:

And it was so long and so speedy and so in depth.

Speaker A:

And all I heard was, this is how deep my word goes.

Speaker A:

And then I woke up and I had a raging headache.

Speaker A:

And you're thinking, oh, you just had a headache.

Speaker A:

That's like.

Speaker A:

Ever since then, I have been highly aware that the word of God is deeper than I am.

Speaker A:

And as much as you think you know, we were not there when God laid the foundation of the earth and when he made declarations and the universe was created.

Speaker A:

That is something that's always been with me.

Speaker A:

And it's a reason to never be ashamed of God's Word, because God.

Speaker A:

God knows what he's talking about, even if we don't understand it all.

Speaker A:

The reason I shared that with you is so you can get.

Speaker A:

There's a gap between what God understands and knows and what we get.

Speaker A:

So you never be ashamed of His Word.

Speaker A:

Even as you're pulling the pieces together, you keep working it.

Speaker A:

D Draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.

Speaker A:

A Always be ready to serve.

Speaker A:

To serve.

Speaker A:

Now, here's the thing.

Speaker A:

Are you ready to extend mercy and grace Right now, are you ready to serve?

Speaker A:

Wait, wait, wait, wait.

Speaker A:

If your neighbor gets, you know, your neighbor's like, running behind.

Speaker A:

Okay, do you just think, I think I'll bring that in for my neighbor, their trash can, or I think I'll get that stuff off their yard or something.

Speaker A:

Or help them.

Speaker A:

It's just the thoughtfulness of being willing to do things for others and to build them up and lift them up and do the smallest little thing, because that kindness is a gift that's given to them, but it's a fruit for you of the Holy Spirit.

Speaker A:

So being ready to serve, extending those kindnesses, that's manifestations of the kingdom of God, of the Holy Spirit working in you through Jesus Christ.

Speaker A:

Think about others as the big key about being ready to serve.

Speaker A:

So one, draw closer to the Lord.

Speaker A:

D, two, never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.

Speaker A:

And three, always be ready to serve.

Speaker A:

A.

Speaker A:

That's our DNA.

Speaker A:

We'll take our break, and then we'll come back.

Speaker A:

You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the truth station here in Texas.

Speaker A:

Short break.

Speaker A:

We'll be back.

Speaker A:

Don't go anywhere.

Speaker A:

Who is David Spoon?

Speaker A:

I have no idea.

Speaker A:

People have asked me about the David Spoon Experience.

Speaker A:

They wanted to know what I thought of him.

Speaker A:

Like any person searching for answers, I have wondered about him.

Speaker A:

He was born and raised Jewish and after intense drug use, became a Christian.

Speaker A:

He's married to his best friend Noel, has three children, six grandchildren, and a dog named Bert.

Speaker A:

He has three separate ordinations from three different denominations and.

Speaker A:

And is a summa cum laude for his BA Degree in ministry and leadership, as well as a master's degree of theological studies and has his doctorate of Strategic Christian Ministry.

Speaker A:

He has a weird sense of humor and talks a lot.

Speaker A:

If people are seeking wisdom and insight from the great teachers around the world, would they go to David?

Speaker A:

No, I don't think so.

Speaker A:

And those big ears really don't help him.

Speaker A:

But would they enjoy his perspective on life, Culture, politics, food, sports, local and national news?

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

I guess people will have to listen to find out.

Speaker A:

What is the David Spoon Experience?

Speaker A:

This is Ray Bentley.

Speaker A:

Ray Bentley, the man, the myth, the legend on the show.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna say that about you.

Speaker A:

It has been four years and.

Speaker A:

And six months and 29 days since you've been live on the David Spoon Experience.

Speaker A:

Oh, man.

Speaker A:

Finally, I'm sliding in under the tag home safe.

Speaker A:

You are safe.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

And so I'll tell the entire audience, real simple after this interview.

Speaker A:

You can either blame Ray or you can bless Ray because it was his fault.

Speaker A:

A year and a half ago on February 12, when he called me and said, you should be back on the radio, you just point to that guy.

Speaker A:

Okay, first of all, Ray, I want to ask you a really important question to start everything off with.

Speaker A:

The time is yours.

Speaker A:

You determine how much time you've got.

Speaker A:

It's totally up to you.

Speaker A:

But I do want to just ask you this quick question.

Speaker A:

How you doing?

Speaker A:

You know what?

Speaker A:

I am doing good, actually.

Speaker A:

I'm doing great.

Speaker A:

I think these are exciting, exciting times.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

I feel like we're in an acceleration of things happening, of God moving, of kind of things that we thought about and imagined prophetically what it would look like.

Speaker A:

And it's like happening so much, so fast with such acceleration.

Speaker A:

I'm like, I can't hardly keep up with it all.

Speaker A:

It's just.

Speaker A:

It's a great hour to look up and to encourage one another.

Speaker A:

You know, I do realize there's lots of challenges and these are trying times, but out of the worst of times come the best of times.

Speaker A:

Welcome back to the David's Spoon Experience.

Speaker A:

Thank you for joining us here at Kaam 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.

Speaker A:

That's Ka Men 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.

Speaker A:

Got another trivia question.

Speaker A:

You guys need to really listen to this one.

Speaker A:

That's all I'm going to say.

Speaker A:

You need to listen.

Speaker A:

Is the book of Zephaniah in the Old Testament, New Testament, or neither?

Speaker A:

Is the book of Zephaniah in the Old Testament, the New Testament, or neither?

Speaker A:

If you think you know the answer.

Speaker A:

-:

Speaker A:

-:

Speaker A:

-:

Speaker A:

-:

Speaker A:

Or you can send an email.

Speaker A:

Davidemustincrease.org is the book of Zephaniah Zephaniah in the Old Testament, the New Testament, or neither?

Speaker A:

That is the question that we have sitting on the table.

Speaker A:

In the meantime, I'm gonna jump into, okay?

Speaker A:

Gotta jump into, into the word of God.

Speaker A:

I wanna get a little bit of teaching in here before we miss this.

Speaker A:

Cause this one portion that I wanna get into is super, super, super cool.

Speaker A:

We'll go into the teaching and then we'll see where it goes from there.

Speaker A:

2 Kings 7:1 2.

Speaker A:

Say this.

Speaker A:

Elisha said, hear the word of the Lord.

Speaker A:

Hear the Word of the Lord.

Speaker A:

This is what the Lord says about this time tomorrow at the gate of Samaria.

Speaker A:

Six quarts of fine meal will sell for a shekel.

Speaker A:

And 12 quarts of barley will sell for a shekel.

Speaker A:

Then the captain, the king's right hand man, responded to the man of God.

Speaker A:

Look, even if the Lord were to make the windows in heaven open up, could this really happen?

Speaker A:

Wait, stop.

Speaker A:

You must hear this.

Speaker A:

Not going to let the enemy take it away, right?

Speaker A:

Focus.

Speaker A:

Elijah said, hear the word of the Lord.

Speaker A:

This is what the Lord says about this time tomorrow the gates of Samaria.

Speaker A:

Six quarts of fine meal will sell for a shekel.

Speaker A:

Twelve quarts of barley will sell for a shekel.

Speaker A:

Then the captain, the king's right hand man, responded to the man of God.

Speaker A:

Look, even if the Lord were to make windows in heaven, could this really happen?

Speaker A:

Windows in heaven.

Speaker A:

Heaven.

Speaker A:

Listen.

Speaker A:

Windows in heaven, could this really happen?

Speaker A:

How we answer that question tells us a lot about how we believe in God.

Speaker A:

Can God open up windows in heaven and pour out so much that a famine in one day can become a non famine in the next day for an entire people?

Speaker A:

How you and I answer that question is essential for how we understand God operating.

Speaker A:

Can God open up windows in heaven and pour it out on earth?

Speaker A:

Let's ask this from not just the nationalistic point of view, but even from the localized individual point of view.

Speaker A:

Could God open up windows in heaven?

Speaker A:

And can he?

Speaker A:

Can he pour out such a blessing that it would catch you off guard?

Speaker A:

Can he pour out so much of a blessing that it would just overwhelm you?

Speaker A:

How you answer that question is exactly where your faith is at.

Speaker A:

Can God open up windows in heaven and pour into your life in a moment so much that the famine is over?

Speaker A:

I'm telling you right now as a brother in Christ, yes, he can.

Speaker A:

It only takes a moment for a miracle.

Speaker A:

And God changes things in moments.

Speaker A:

And when Jesus died on that cross, the moment his actual death took place, the actual cloth that was in the temple ripped.

Speaker A:

And that was the end of the old and the beginning of the new.

Speaker A:

And in a moment, a definitive moment, God went from old covenant, new covenant period.

Speaker A:

It's not that the new wasn't being introduced.

Speaker A:

It's just that it was a definitive moment when the curtain ripped.

Speaker A:

And the idea behind this is to understand it only.

Speaker A:

It only takes a moment.

Speaker A:

You're praying.

Speaker A:

I'm praying.

Speaker A:

We're asking God for help.

Speaker A:

We're asking him to answers for prayer.

Speaker A:

A lot of it has to do with Health.

Speaker A:

A lot of it has to do with finances.

Speaker A:

And when I pray for the audience, the first thing I pray is that everybody's spiritual needs would be taken care of.

Speaker A:

The next two things I pray for the audience are their health and their financial needs.

Speaker A:

And we tend to forget that God can open up windows in heaven and change our life in a moment.

Speaker A:

And the famine can go to feast like that.

Speaker A:

Think about that.

Speaker A:

Think about your circumstance.

Speaker A:

Can God open up the windows of heaven and change it that quickly for you?

Speaker A:

So it's all different?

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

The answer is yes.

Speaker A:

But how you and I answer that defines things.

Speaker A:

Get it?

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

Did they want to answer?

Speaker A:

Somebody on the line?

Speaker A:

Did they want to answer the trivia question?

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

Trivia question.

Speaker A:

Okay, send them on through.

Speaker A:

Knock, knock.

Speaker A:

This is David.

Speaker A:

Who am I talking to?

Speaker A:

Hi, Dr.

Speaker A:

David.

Speaker A:

This is Joy, Ann and Cordelia.

Speaker A:

Hi, Joy, Ann and Cordelia.

Speaker A:

How are you?

Speaker A:

We're so blessed.

Speaker A:

And we want to tell you how we know the answer to that question.

Speaker A:

All right, then.

Speaker A:

Awesome.

Speaker A:

So are you ready?

Speaker A:

I am ready.

Speaker A:

I'm going to.

Speaker A:

I'll ask you the question.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

I'll ask you the question, and you can answer.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Okay, here we go.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

That's okay.

Speaker A:

That's okay.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

Here we go.

Speaker A:

Here we go.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

You're going to answer the trivia question or the question of God answering the windows.

Speaker A:

Which one do you want to do first?

Speaker A:

The trivia.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

I want to make sure you know.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

I don't remember what trivia.

Speaker A:

Did I even.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Zephaniah is the book of Zephaniah.

Speaker A:

Zephaniah is the book of Zephaniah in the Old Testament, the New Testament, or neither.

Speaker A:

You know, you are the only gals that answer any trivia question in singing.

Speaker A:

I just want to point that out.

Speaker A:

We can sing the whole Bible in song, but we don't want to take up that much time.

Speaker A:

But Zephaniah and Zechariah sound the same, and they're both in the Old Testament.

Speaker A:

Toward the end, they're minor prophets.

Speaker A:

How about that?

Speaker A:

Correct.

Speaker A:

Amundo.

Speaker A:

Excellent.

Speaker A:

Excellent job.

Speaker A:

Very, very funny.

Speaker A:

In fact, in Zephaniah, there's this teaching that I'm going to be doing pretty soon.

Speaker A:

You don't hear a lot of teaching out of Zephaniah.

Speaker A:

It doesn't get a lot of play.

Speaker A:

I'm just being honest.

Speaker A:

But there's a really cool teaching in Zephaniah about understanding, not being content where they are in the Lord, but moving forward.

Speaker A:

So we'll get into that coming.

Speaker A:

So it's really, really cool.

Speaker A:

So excellent job, ladies.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

That was great.

Speaker A:

We're looking forward to it.

Speaker A:

Y'all have a wonderful weekend.

Speaker A:

We love and bless you.

Speaker A:

God bless you guys.

Speaker A:

Have a good one.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

You too.

Speaker A:

Bye Bye.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

Bye Bye.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

You can't beat that.

Speaker A:

That's exceptional.

Speaker A:

We'll take our break there.

Speaker A:

Cause you can't beat that.

Speaker A:

You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on KWAM 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.

Speaker A:

Short break.

Speaker A:

We'll be back.

Speaker A:

Don't go anywhere.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

Right here on kaam.

Speaker A:

The deterioration of the ecosystem or creation itself is definitely the result of man.

Speaker A:

You say?

Speaker A:

Well, how can you say that?

Speaker A:

,:

Speaker A:

I just read the scriptures.

Speaker A:

I don't need anything else.

Speaker A:

The Bible says this.

Speaker A:

The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.

Speaker A:

For the creation was subjected to frustration not by its own choice, but but by the will of the one who subjected it in hope that the creation itself would be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

Speaker A:

Creation itself is longing for the redemption that comes through Jesus Christ.

Speaker A:

And until that takes place it is on a collision course down.

Speaker A:

The result of the ecosystem or creation itself crashing is a result of of man's sin in the garden.

Speaker A:

So when they say oh well, it's not man made.

Speaker A:

Oh yes it is, of course it's man made.

Speaker A:

It's because we messed up in the garden.

Speaker A:

But I wasn't with Adam and Eve.

Speaker A:

You were in the person of Adam and Eve.

Speaker A:

And if you want me to use it, you are in the life giving force of Adam and Eve.

Speaker A:

And if you want me to really say it, you were in the loins of Adam and Eve.

Speaker A:

You were there too.

Speaker A:

They stuck their fist up to God and said nope.

Speaker A:

And God went okie dokie.

Speaker A:

Here's the result.

Speaker A:

The David Spoon Experience on Christ the solid rock.

Speaker A:

I stand all other ground.

Speaker A:

Oh, welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.

Speaker A:

Thank you for joining us here at Kaam 770, the truce station here in Texas.

Speaker A:

That's Ka Amen 770, the truth station here in Texas.

Speaker A:

We got another trivia question.

Speaker A:

Shouldn't be too complex.

Speaker A:

I kind of hope so.

Speaker A:

Let's start with this one.

Speaker A:

From Exodus chapter 2, after killing an Egyptian who somewhat became a fugitive and had to flee, was that Moses, Cain, Joseph or Jeremiah?

Speaker A:

Exodus 2:11, 15.

Speaker A:

So from Exodus 2, after killing an Egyptian who had to become somewhat of a fugitive by fleeing, is it Moses, Cain, Joseph or Jeremiah?

Speaker A:

Exodus 2, 11, 15.

Speaker A:

In the meantime, I'm going to send you up to the website.

Speaker A:

I'm going to say the same thing I said the other day.

Speaker A:

I think it's just the best thing to say.

Speaker A:

Look, if you can help, phenomenal.

Speaker A:

If you can't, don't worry about it.

Speaker A:

Pray for us.

Speaker A:

We really need some help.

Speaker A:

That's it.

Speaker A:

Keeping it that simple.

Speaker A:

We need help.

Speaker A:

We need help.

Speaker A:

Help.

Speaker A:

Help, help, help, help.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

Check it out on the website.

Speaker A:

He must increase.org Confused by what's happening right now.

Speaker A:

He must increase.org he must increase.org Sometimes you feel like a nut.

Speaker A:

Sometimes you don't.

Speaker A:

Enjoy that nut.

Speaker A:

Mounds don't.

Speaker A:

Okay, so you can't not like that because it's candy.

Speaker A:

I'm just pointing it out to you.

Speaker A:

You can't not like anything like that.

Speaker A:

See, anytime I hear any kind of jingle or anything like that and it's candy, I like it.

Speaker A:

See, I'm sorry.

Speaker A:

People are like, well you know, that's not good for you.

Speaker A:

You know, I've been on this diet for two years, and it'll be a month and a half.

Speaker A:

It'll be two years.

Speaker A:

I've lost a lot of weight, but that doesn't mean I don't sit there and go, mmm, cookies.

Speaker A:

You know, it's like, come on, let's be honest about it.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

Okay, cool.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

Your trivia question from Exodus 2, who, after killing an Egyptian, became somewhat of a fugitive?

Speaker A:

Was it Moses, Cain, Joseph, or Jeremiah?

Speaker A:

You only got about three seconds because I'm gonna take the call and let them answer that.

Speaker A:

I think they were ready to do so, so send them on through.

Speaker A:

Knock, knock.

Speaker A:

This is David.

Speaker A:

Who am I talking to?

Speaker A:

Hello, David.

Speaker A:

This is Stephen.

Speaker A:

Hello, Stephen.

Speaker A:

How are you, sir?

Speaker A:

I'm doing good.

Speaker A:

How are you, sir?

Speaker A:

I'm doing good.

Speaker A:

I am doing good.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna be honest, I'm looking forward to a.

Speaker A:

Not a lot going on in the evening this evening.

Speaker A:

That's what I'm looking forward to.

Speaker A:

In answer to your trivia question, you kind of ruled out two by saying it was Exodus because the other two of the four answers were.

Speaker A:

Didn't make it to Exodus.

Speaker A:

That is correct, Mundo.

Speaker A:

So another one wasn't the wrong thing.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So then the answer on who became the fugitive every killing the Egyptian was Moses.

Speaker A:

Moses is correct answer.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I probably could have made that more interesting by going Aaron, Moses, you know what I'm saying?

Speaker A:

Like, kind of put them all in the same realm because.

Speaker A:

Yeah, because two of them were deceased, and then the other two, the other one didn't exist.

Speaker A:

So it's like.

Speaker A:

Okay, well, that doesn't.

Speaker A:

I guess it's a timing issue.

Speaker A:

Excellent job, sir.

Speaker A:

How could we pray for you at all?

Speaker A:

Can we blush at all?

Speaker A:

How are things?

Speaker A:

Yeah, well, I've been feeling a little under the weather, but I've got feeling a little bit better yesterday.

Speaker A:

And I finally was able to get back on the highways and turned on your station, hoping to get a smile, and wound up getting a smile not from listening to you, although I was.

Speaker A:

But by going 80 miles an hour down the freeway, being passed on the right by a vehicle that said traffic safety, and the sticker on the back that says in God we trust.

Speaker A:

Wow.

Speaker A:

Wow.

Speaker A:

Did you just, like, go, yes, yes.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

Kind of.

Speaker A:

Kind of made me smile.

Speaker A:

Ah, don't you love that?

Speaker A:

I see.

Speaker A:

I think those little things are the coolest.

Speaker A:

I think those are little things.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

I call them gracelets, mini graces, like little bracelets of grace where the Lord does something for you, you go, ah, that's good.

Speaker A:

Thanks.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I needed that.

Speaker A:

That's good.

Speaker A:

I think those are the coolest things in the world.

Speaker A:

I love.

Speaker A:

Fantastic.

Speaker A:

That it was.

Speaker A:

It was what I needed.

Speaker A:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker A:

It's great.

Speaker A:

So God we trust, right?

Speaker A:

Because I'm going 80 miles an hour.

Speaker A:

Excellent job, brother.

Speaker A:

Very, very good.

Speaker A:

You have a blessed day.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

You too, my friend.

Speaker A:

God bless you.

Speaker A:

Bye Bye.

Speaker A:

All right, Stephen.

Speaker A:

He's great.

Speaker A:

All right, let me do this.

Speaker A:

I'm going to do this teaching first, and when we come back, I got another teaching that I do have some classic Bible things I want to go over.

Speaker A:

But let's just do this teaching now.

Speaker A:

Listen, I need you to endure.

Speaker A:

Can you endure with me for a little while?

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

You can do that, can't you?

Speaker A:

This is just an incredible story.

Speaker A:

Second Kings 8, Elijah said to the woman whose son he had restored to life, get ready you and your household and go and live as foreigners whenever you can.

Speaker A:

For the Lord has announced a seven year famine.

Speaker A:

Wow.

Speaker A:

And it has already come to the land.

Speaker A:

So the woman got ready and did what the man of God said.

Speaker A:

She and her household lived as foreigners in the land of the Philistines for seven years.

Speaker A:

When the woman returned to the land of the Philistines at the end of the seven years, she went to appeal to the king for her house and the field.

Speaker A:

The king had been speaking to Gehazi, the servant of the man of God.

Speaker A:

Tell me the great things Elijah has done.

Speaker A:

While he was telling the king how Elisha restored the dead son to life, the woman whose son he had restored to life came to appeal to the king for her house and field.

Speaker A:

So Gehazi said, my lord, the king, this is the woman.

Speaker A:

This is the son Elijah restored to life.

Speaker A:

When the king asked the woman, she told him the story.

Speaker A:

So the king appointed a court official for her, saying, restore all that was hers, along with all the income from the field from the day she left the country until now.

Speaker A:

This story is lights out, fantastic.

Speaker A:

And it is kind of unique that we are talking about famine recovery in the first teaching and famine recovery in this teaching from the hand of God.

Speaker A:

This woman had her son restored.

Speaker A:

Elijah told her, take a hike, get out while you can.

Speaker A:

It's going to be a tough seven years.

Speaker A:

The seven years comes to an end.

Speaker A:

She comes back to get her property.

Speaker A:

She goes to the king.

Speaker A:

At the time, she goes to the king.

Speaker A:

Gehazi, the servant of Elijah is telling the king her story.

Speaker A:

Do you get that?

Speaker A:

God has so Coordinated our lives, that she could be gone for seven years, come back, and on a particular moment of a particular day, over this period of time, goes in to petition the king.

Speaker A:

And at that exact moment, moment, Elisha's servant is telling her story to the king.

Speaker A:

Do you think it made an impact on the king?

Speaker A:

Do you think it made an impact on Gehazi?

Speaker A:

Do you think it made an impact on the woman?

Speaker A:

The moment she comes in, he's telling her story, she comes in, the king's like, tell me.

Speaker A:

She tells her, it's like everything you've ever lost, I'm giving back to you.

Speaker A:

Talk about restoration of loss, talk about the redemption of time.

Speaker A:

Talk about the buyback, Talk about the reality that the locusts don't get to get away with everything.

Speaker A:

Right here in 2 Kings 8:1:5, right here, God does the restoring, not our timing, right?

Speaker A:

You and I couldn't come up with this timing.

Speaker A:

We couldn't even blink and think of this.

Speaker A:

But by God's divine appointment and his.

Speaker A:

Listen to what I'm going to use.

Speaker A:

This is so.

Speaker A:

This is so good.

Speaker A:

By the Christian coordinated collision.

Speaker A:

What is that a new phrase?

Speaker A:

Yes, the Christian coordinated collision.

Speaker A:

God made a collision take place at a particular moment for the benefit of his child.

Speaker A:

Just think about that now.

Speaker A:

Think about this.

Speaker A:

He loves you just as much as he loves the woman with the son.

Speaker A:

He doesn't love you less.

Speaker A:

That's ridiculous.

Speaker A:

He loves you like he loves her.

Speaker A:

Divine timing, divine appointments.

Speaker A:

Coordinated Christian coordinated collisions.

Speaker A:

Or maybe we should say it this way.

Speaker A:

Coordinated Christian collisions.

Speaker A:

That's better.

Speaker A:

That's like.

Speaker A:

I like that better.

Speaker A:

Coordinated Christian collisions.

Speaker A:

That's what the Lord does for you and I.

Speaker A:

That's how much he loves us.

Speaker A:

That's how much he's committed to us.

Speaker A:

Come on, that's pretty cool.

Speaker A:

You know that's cool.

Speaker A:

I know that's cool.

Speaker A:

It's cool.

Speaker A:

All right, we'll take our break and then come back.

Speaker A:

You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the truth station air in Texas.

Speaker A:

Short break, we'll be back.

Speaker A:

Don't go anywhere.

Speaker A:

What is the David Spoon Experience?

Speaker A:

So what Jesus said, whoever is not against you is for you.

Speaker A:

That's what he's talking about.

Speaker A:

They're a kingdom advancer.

Speaker A:

It's all good.

Speaker A:

Now watch this.

Speaker A:

, verse:

Speaker A:

When a strong man, fully armed, guards his estate, his possessions are secure.

Speaker A:

But when One stronger than he attacks and overpowers.

Speaker A:

He takes from him all his weapons, the armor and the weapons of the foot soldier that he trusted in, and he divides up his plunder.

Speaker A:

Anyone who is not with me is against me, and anyone who does not gather with me scatters.

Speaker A:

And you're thinking, but what about the other verse?

Speaker A:

Watch keeping it in context.

Speaker A:

This person is not for the kingdom of God.

Speaker A:

This person is neutral, not a kingdom advancer, not a person that's trying to advance the kingdom of God.

Speaker A:

And when you are not a kingdom advancer, then you are supporting the other kingdoms.

Speaker A:

You are either in for, with, through and by the kingdom of God or all the other kingdoms.

Speaker A:

There is no neutral.

Speaker A:

There is no, well, I am going to sit this one out.

Speaker A:

There is no sitting it out with God.

Speaker A:

You're either helping advance his kingdom or helping another kingdom advance one of the two.

Speaker A:

So the guy that was casting out evil spirits in the name of Jesus Christ, he's advancing the kingdom of God.

Speaker A:

But the person who's not for Jesus is trying to be neutral and do nothing.

Speaker A:

That person's not advancing the kingdom of God.

Speaker A:

And that person who's not advancing the kingdom of God is therefore against the kingdom of God.

Speaker A:

Because there is no neutral.

Speaker A:

And you're thinking, well, no, no, there's got to be a neutral.

Speaker A:

Never heard the joke about the mugwump, huh?

Speaker A:

Never heard about the soldier that, you know, Confederate soldier and then Union soldier had gray on the top and dark blue on the bottom?

Speaker A:

What'd they do, shoot at them from both sides?

Speaker A:

That's what they did.

Speaker A:

In other words, there is none of that.

Speaker A:

That doesn't exist.

Speaker A:

You're either with Jesus in the advancement of his kingdom or you're not.

Speaker A:

And if you're not, then he considers that against you.

Speaker A:

Think, whoa, that is just rude.

Speaker A:

Tell it to Jesus.

Speaker A:

Tell him he's rude.

Speaker A:

Go ahead.

Speaker A:

Jesus said, seek first the kingdom of God, not, hey, you know, in your life, you got all these things going on, you got to take care of work, you got to do this, you got to do this, you got to pay this bill and do this and raise your kids.

Speaker A:

And somewhere in there, do me a favor and every once in a while kick it around and think about me and the kingdom, and that doesn't exist.

Speaker A:

That's not a reality check.

Speaker A:

The reality check is that you are either for the kingdom of God or opposed to the kingdom of God.

Speaker A:

And if you try to be neutral, you're opposed.

Speaker A:

The David Spoon Experience welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.

Speaker A:

Thank you for joining us here at Kaam 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

770, the Truth Station here in Texas.

Speaker A:

We have one more trivia question.

Speaker A:

I am going to do some Bible jokes and we are going to do one short teaching.

Speaker A:

So follow the sequence if you can.

Speaker A:

Number one, here's the trivia question.

Speaker A:

What animal did God provide Abraham to sacrifice in the place of Isaac?

Speaker A:

Was it a dove, a calf, a ram, or a camel?

Speaker A:

Your answer is in Genesis:

Speaker A:

That is.

Speaker A:

Your answer is in Genesis:

Speaker A:

Okay, that is the first thing, right?

Speaker A:

So what animal did God provide Abraham to sacrifice in place of Isaac?

Speaker A:

Was it a dove, a calf, a ram, or a camel?

Speaker A:

Doug?

Speaker A:

Oh, dove.

Speaker A:

Dug.

Speaker A:

Was it a dug.

Speaker A:

No, it wasn't a.

Speaker A:

Doug, was it a dove, calf, ram or camel?

Speaker A:

And your answer is in Genesis:

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

The second thing that I want to say is our brother Samson called in, told the joke, didn't work out great.

Speaker A:

Not the kind of joke that we think is right, but that doesn't mean we don't love him and don't want people to hold anything against him like that.

Speaker A:

That's an inappropriate approach.

Speaker A:

On the other side, it was a joke that probably shouldn't have been told.

Speaker A:

You got it?

Speaker A:

Mistakes, sure.

Speaker A:

How many?

Speaker A:

You know, many mistakes I've made on this show, I can't count them.

Speaker A:

I make them all the time.

Speaker A:

So that's my response to that.

Speaker A:

So we extend grace and mercy because that's what you're supposed to do, right?

Speaker A:

Not the best joke.

Speaker A:

If you're going to tell a joke, make sure it's right in line with how we think.

Speaker A:

Is that a nice way to say that?

Speaker A:

That's a nice way to say that.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Additionally, we got that going on now.

Speaker A:

Can that person hold on or do they need to push through or.

Speaker A:

What's going on?

Speaker A:

Do we have somebody ready?

Speaker A:

What is it?

Speaker A:

We have Fred on the line.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

All right, go ahead and send him on through.

Speaker A:

Okay, send them on through.

Speaker A:

Knock, knock.

Speaker A:

This is David.

Speaker A:

Who am I talking to?

Speaker A:

Hi, Dr.

Speaker A:

Spoon.

Speaker A:

This is Fred.

Speaker A:

How are you doing?

Speaker A:

How you doing, Fred?

Speaker A:

What's happening?

Speaker A:

You get it?

Speaker A:

You get it?

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

Are you ready for this one?

Speaker A:

I just.

Speaker A:

I sort of think so.

Speaker A:

I sort of think so.

Speaker A:

I have this suspicion.

Speaker A:

Fred, you're gonna do great.

Speaker A:

Here we go.

Speaker A:

What animal did God provide Abraham to sacrifice in place of Isaac?

Speaker A:

Was it a dove, a calf, a ram, or a camel?

Speaker A:

Well, this question is somewhat hilarious because A dove represents the Holy Spirit.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

If God used a camel for anything.

Speaker A:

It would definitely have to be a ram.

Speaker A:

A ram is correct.

Speaker A:

Emma.

Speaker A:

No, And I will let you know.

Speaker A:

I've had people say it was a ram because a Chevy couldn't take it, but I don't know if that's true or not.

Speaker A:

I just am unsure of that.

Speaker A:

I don't.

Speaker A:

That is hilarious.

Speaker A:

That was hilarious.

Speaker A:

And also, it was not.

Speaker A:

That ram represented Jesus Christ, which is the point that the Bible is letting us know, is letting us know that it wasn't just any.

Speaker A:

It couldn't have been any type of.

Speaker A:

Of animal.

Speaker A:

That had to be a ram, because that ram represented Jesus Christ, our future Savior.

Speaker A:

That is excellent.

Speaker A:

Excellent, Job.

Speaker A:

See, that's why you are always welcome on this show to share your insights.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Good job, brother.

Speaker A:

Excellent.

Speaker A:

God bless you if you have some things to do.

Speaker A:

So let me hang up and listen.

Speaker A:

All right, my brother?

Speaker A:

God bless.

Speaker A:

All right, so we're gonna go, right?

Speaker A:

I'm gonna do this quickly.

Speaker A:

One thing after another.

Speaker A:

Just follow.

Speaker A:

It's actually pretty funny.

Speaker A:

We're gonna tell a couple of jokes.

Speaker A:

Again.

Speaker A:

We extend full grace and mercy to our brother Samson.

Speaker A:

Samson's contributed so much to the show, and he's blessed so many people a thousand times.

Speaker A:

I think we can just kind of bypass on the joke.

Speaker A:

But to tell you what a really, really bad joke is.

Speaker A:

Here we go.

Speaker A:

Ready?

Speaker A:

Where were freeways first mentioned in the Bible?

Speaker A:

Where were freeways first mentioned in the Bible?

Speaker A:

Genesis 1:30.

Speaker A:

The Lord made every creeping thing.

Speaker A:

See?

Speaker A:

Every creeping thing.

Speaker A:

Freeway.

Speaker A:

Freeway.

Speaker A:

Okay, hold on, hold on.

Speaker A:

These are all really good.

Speaker A:

One.

Speaker A:

Ready?

Speaker A:

What vegetable did Noah not want on the ark?

Speaker A:

Noah did not want this on the ark.

Speaker A:

What vegetable?

Speaker A:

Leeks.

Speaker A:

See?

Speaker A:

Because leeks, because then it's the ark, see?

Speaker A:

Aight.

Speaker A:

And what is the name of the sleepiest land in the Bible?

Speaker A:

Sleepiest land?

Speaker A:

The land of Nod.

Speaker A:

Get it?

Speaker A:

The land of Nod.

Speaker A:

There you go.

Speaker A:

Cause it's sleepy.

Speaker A:

All right, last, but not.

Speaker A:

What age were the goats when Adam.

Speaker A:

What age were the goats when Adam named them in the garden?

Speaker A:

What age were the goats when Adam named them in the garden?

Speaker A:

They were only kids.

Speaker A:

They were only kids.

Speaker A:

See?

Speaker A:

See?

Speaker A:

Kids.

Speaker A:

Go.

Speaker A:

All right, here we go.

Speaker A:

I got four minutes.

Speaker A:

I can do it.

Speaker A:

Isaiah, chapter 49, verse 16.

Speaker A:

The first part of the verse.

Speaker A:

Listen to this.

Speaker A:

Don't get mad.

Speaker A:

Don't freak out.

Speaker A:

Relax.

Speaker A:

And this is not an issue for anybody to use for fellowship.

Speaker A:

But Isaiah 49, 16a says, behold, I have inscribed you on the palm of my hands.

Speaker A:

The word inscribed in the Hebrew is chaka chekak.

Speaker A:

You know what it means?

Speaker A:

It means to engrave or to paint and engrave, or actually to engrave and paint.

Speaker A:

We typically would call that a tattoo.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

What happened in the Old Testament is people would get marks on their body and they would use those marks to make declaration against God and against the people of God.

Speaker A:

When God got the tattoo of us on him, he says, it's literally, behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hand.

Speaker A:

The palms is the hollow or the flat of the hand.

Speaker A:

And it's in reference to being his kids.

Speaker A:

And the imagery that God is communicating is that he has a picture of an engraved, painted picture of you and me and every child of his in the palm of his hand.

Speaker A:

Now, if you're able to, without doing anything weird, look at the palm of your hand.

Speaker A:

Look how close you are to the palm of your hand.

Speaker A:

That that is how close you are to God when he thinks of you.

Speaker A:

Look at the palm of your hand.

Speaker A:

That's you.

Speaker A:

He's got your name right there in his hand.

Speaker A:

Just think of that imagery.

Speaker A:

And I understand, and believe me, you see some of the tats that have gone on and they're kind of bizarre looking.

Speaker A:

I don't have any argument with that.

Speaker A:

There's no problem with that.

Speaker A:

I'm not even societally or culturally.

Speaker A:

I'm not even arguing with that.

Speaker A:

What I'm trying to tell you is the reason has a lot to do with things.

Speaker A:

And God has you tattooed in the palm of his hand.

Speaker A:

Do you like that?

Speaker A:

Isn't that beautiful?

Speaker A:

How close?

Speaker A:

Look at the palm of your hand.

Speaker A:

That's how close you are to God's eyes, to God's heart, to God's being.

Speaker A:

Isn't that just like, what.

Speaker A:

So it's important from my perspective and your perspective and our perspective and the biblical perspective to catch that everything that's been done for us is because of how much God loves us.

Speaker A:

Did you ever think anybody would love you that much?

Speaker A:

I didn't.

Speaker A:

Isn't it phenomenal to be a Christian?

Speaker A:

Yeah, I understand all this stuff.

Speaker A:

And I understand, believe me, in many countries it's much harder to be a Christian than it is in our country.

Speaker A:

We got a lot of blessings, a lot of freedoms, a lot of graces.

Speaker A:

But as it sits right now, isn't it phenomenal just to be a child of the most high God?

Speaker A:

It's such a privilege for us.

Speaker A:

Maybe it would be a good idea to take a few extra seconds in a day and let God know how much we really do appreciate it.

Speaker A:

He knows how much you appreciate it, but expressing it, that's good.

Speaker A:

Let the hosts of Heaven know you love the Lord God Almighty.

Speaker A:

Almighty.

Speaker A:

That's a good thing, not a bad thing.

Speaker A:

Get it?

Speaker A:

Okay, cool.

Speaker A:

All right, folks, you have been listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the truth station here in Texas, taking a 72 and 1 half hour break.

David Spoon

David Spoon was born and raised in a Jewish home in Detroit, Michigan. He attended a private Hebrew school called Hillel Hebrew Academy. David was bar mitzvah-ed at the age of thirteen. Not long after, he was involved in drug abuse and trafficking. After hearing the Gospel for the first time at age seventeen, David accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. A few months later, David had a dramatic experience with God. Immediately set free from years of excessive drug use, he committed himself to ministry and to furthering the Kingdom of God.

He attended Arizona Bible College, Northern Arizona University, and Life Pacific College, graduating summa-cum-laude in their Ministry and Leadership program. He also graduated with honors from Regent University with a master’s degree in Theological Studies and earned his Doctor of Ministry degree in Strategic Christian Ministry at Liberty University.

He is one of a few individuals holding ministerial ordinations from three separate denominations: Heritage Free Baptist Organization, 1981; Independent Pentecostal Ministers Association, 1985; and Vineyard Valley Association, 1988. He was also the Chaplain for the Flagstaff Police Department. In addition, David was the senior pastor of Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Flagstaff.

In addition, David started and co-hosted two different live Christian call-in radio talk shows. He hosted the very popular radio show “The David Spoon Experience” on KPRZ 1210 and a show called “To Know Him,” which aired on 88.9 on the F.M. dial-in Temecula, California at 1:00 p.m., Monday through Fridays. He was also the Director of Local Ministry for Salem Media Group in San Diego, California.

David is married to his best friend, Noelle. He has three children and seven grandchildren, plus their two dogs named Levi and Bert. On March 18th, 2019, he started “The David Spoon Experience” in Texas and is growing with his audience of awesome believers and non-believers alike.

He is the President of He Must Increase Ministry, a 501c3 ministry, and is hosting (again) the live daily radio show “The David Spoon Experience” with DJR Broadcasting in KAAM, on the 770 A.M. radio dial. The show is also on various apps and the Internet.

David is a Jewish-Christian, Bapti-Costal, Cal-Minian, Manifold Millennialist.

Just ask him.
