Section 1

Spiritual warfare, uncertainty, and frustration often tempt believers to question what God is doing, but the answer remains the same in every direction: trust in God. Dr. Dave recalls a dream in which he repeatedly asked people facing north, south, east, and west for the answer to their struggles, and each time the response was, “Trust in God.” Feelings may rise and fall, but faith cannot be built upon emotions. It must remain rooted in God’s character, His Word, and the truth that He has never failed, abandoned, or stopped loving His children.

Section 2

Trust becomes especially important when circumstances exceed human understanding and answers do not arrive as quickly as expected. Scripture calls believers to trust the Lord with all their hearts, refuse dependence upon their own limited reasoning, and acknowledge Him in every part of life. Dr. Dave honestly recognizes that Christians sometimes struggle, complain, or even throw spiritual temper tantrums, yet God remains the faithful Father who continues caring for them. Trials do not prove that He has disappeared; they reveal how deeply believers need to stop allowing circumstances to define reality and begin remembering whose children they are.

Section 3

Eternal hope gives believers the strength to endure present difficulties without becoming controlled by them. Dr. Dave explains that the pain, delays, disappointments, and pressures of this life cannot compare with the joy God has prepared for His people in eternity. Hope becomes an anchor that steadies the soul while faith redirects attention away from the waves and back toward the Lord. When believers recognize that every breath is a gift, confess where they have failed to trust, and approach God’s throne for mercy and grace, they can live more abundantly through a deeper relationship with Him.
