08-13-2026 PART 1: When the Enemy Is Not Even Close
Section 1
Revelation 12 pulls back the curtain on a spiritual conflict far greater than what human eyes normally perceive. Dr. Dave emphasizes that Michael and his angels fought against Satan and his angels, ultimately casting them out of heaven. The passage reminds believers that the visible world represents only a portion of reality, while an enormous spiritual conflict continues beyond ordinary human perception. Satan remains the great deceiver, attempting to convince the world that reality is something different from what God has revealed through His Word.
Section 2
Missing from this dramatic battle scene is something remarkably important: God never personally enters the fight against Satan. Michael defeats the dragon and casts him from heaven while the Lord remains completely sovereign over everything taking place. Dr. Dave stresses that Satan is certainly a dangerous enemy of believers, but he is never presented as God's equal. Even Satan's activity remains restricted by God's authority and permission. Spiritual warfare is real, but Christians should never elevate the enemy into a position Scripture has never given him.
Section 3
Far above every spiritual power stands the Lord God Almighty, without rival, competitor, or equal anywhere in existence. Dr. Dave explains that the final outcome is already established because God remains completely in charge from beginning to end. Satan may deceive, oppose, and attack, but he cannot overturn God's authority or defeat His purposes. For believers, this truth produces tremendous confidence: greater is He who lives within them than he who is in the world. Through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, God's children stand on the victorious side of a conflict whose ending has already been declared.
