In Revelation 12, the atmosphere shifts dramatically as the focus turns toward the reality of spiritual warfare against those who belong to Jesus Christ. The dragon’s fury against those who hold to the testimony of Jesus is presented not merely as future prophecy, but as a present spiritual reality believers already experience. Dr. Dave stresses that following Christ places people directly into conflict with an enemy who hates the light because believers now belong to Jesus. From there, the teaching moves into Paul’s warning in 2 Corinthians 11 about minds being led astray through deception just as Eve was deceived in the garden.
