Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience. This 60-minutes is all about: 1) Can you hear me? Can you hear yourself? Can you hear God? The worst part about our advanced technology is the disruption of the basic senses. Don’t get weird on me. Tons of our tech is totally cool. Order a pizza with a push of a button. Yes! But one thing suffers greatly. Our ability to listen. And with that loss comes the separation from others. 2) If you have ever watched Mel Brooks, you know it is good to be the king. What is not good is to be the subject of the king. And it’s not good to be subject to a government (which is run by people) or a corporation (which is run by people), or anything else that has its origins on planet earth. But you gotta serve somebody. And if it’s not from planet earth, we had better be choosing wisely. 3) There is an Old Testament and a New Testament. The New is what we operate in now. But there is great wisdom and God’s truth in the Old. So, while we need to know the New inside and out, we need to know the Old so that we don’t get turned right side wrong. There is gold in the Old. Let’s mine it, find it, and use it.
