The David Spoon Experience Part 2 9-10-21
Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) Too often, we find ourselves at war within ourselves. And there is a part of us that operates in the form of despair. That is the new us fighting against the old us. It is not exclusive to the New Testament. It’s just that now, we have more wisdom and better tools to fight it. Can you say Jesus is our hope? You better.
2) The biblical version of commend is to entrust for protection. We are commended to God. That means that we are entrusted to God for His protection. And we are also commended to God’s Word of Grace. It’s not to His Word of discouragement. In truth, the Word helps build us up, give us an inheritance, and set us apart from the world’s judgment.
3) We review our good friend Joseph. A man who did no wrong was falsely accused, despised, and forgotten. Wouldn’t it be awesome to be like Joseph? You may be thinking, that doesn’t sound too cool. But remember what God did: in everything Joseph went through, God was for him and rescued him from his troubles. How does that sound?
Plus, a country and 9-11 prayer.
