This 60-minutes is all about: 1) Our best Disciple pal, Peter, had a fiery and robust commitment to the Lord. We would not describe him as bashful. Maybe dopey, but not bashful. The thing about Peter is that so many of us can see ourselves in him, which is a strong case for why he was chosen in the first place. We examine another memorable moment in the disciple that often spoke before he looked. It’s kind of what makes him so awesome and so awful.

2) There are prayers of power and great faith. And there should be. There are prayers of unusual confidence (thought of as the prayers of faith) in the Bible. There are heartbreaking prayers of weeping and petitioning, both biblically and personally. But there is hardly a better example of prayer than the pone that Jesus offered to the Father in the most excruciating time. And it’s in the book for us to follow.
