The David Spoon Experience Part 2 2-28-22

Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience. This 60-minutes is all about: 1) We are supposed to do everything in a partnership with God. Everything. So, we may read, see, and understand that we cover it all by prayer. But often, that is accompanied by actions we need to take. Jesus said, “Watch and prayer” in Matthew 26:41, so we are supposed to do both. With Nehemiah, he got it right away. They needed to pray because everything should be bathed in prayer. And they needed to guard. 2) But as human nature would have it, there were divisions that arose from within. Here is a huge key to our daily success. Unity. Within our collective and within ourselves. Jesus said (not Abraham Lincoln), a house divided cannot stand. Division on the inside is a powerful destroyer. Please take a look at our country. It will be spoken that our state of the inion is strong. That’s a lie. It is not. And we are crumbling from within. It’s not an outside force that divides us. It’s all from within. 3) For Nehemiah, as though he needed more conflict, the enemies of the Jews were not the only ones causing trouble. Even the “non-enemies” of the Jews, who claim to have no great connections with the enemies, were sharing disturbing news with people. Those who appear uninvolved can still be involved. So, we need to watch and pray. And guard the low and exposed places.
