The David Spoon Experience Part 2 2-16-22
Superb Show! Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) There is a forever promised land that we look forward to. But until that land is fully manifest, there are steppingstones that we are on. God has a “land” for us now. Is it post-Millennial to believe that God has territory for us? Not at all. Consider the children of Israel. They were brought out of Egypt, which represents the bondage, and eventually into the new land through the wilderness (which means a long trail). The BIG assist is how to view this.
2) Here is the key: We need to face a specific direction on this journey. This is where the breakdown happens. If we travel through the MapQuest of God, we quickly find that the best way to read His map is NOT upside-down. This means that when we read His guideposts, we need to read them, looking forward, not backward.
3) The idea of voyaging to a new land before entering the perfect promised land is woven throughout the scriptures. But God gives us some parameters to make this adventure with. These bumper pads are straightforward. The process can’t be done while looking backward. If we look backward towards anything but God’s grace, we get sucked down into the pit. Stay out of the hole. Look up and look ahead.
