The David Spoon Experience Part 2 12-29-21

Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience. This 60-minutes is all about: 1) The prophets predict much gloom and doom this coming year. In some ways, they will be right. In other ways, they will be wrong. Regardless, these prophets are not from God. They are from the world. Born-again, Bible-believers are encouraged by God to have a different take on 2022. We desire to be more like Jesus and grow in our relationship with the Lord. This expectational attitude is encouraged by God. 2) What we need to mature in is not whether the Lord will bring more of His Kingdom into our lives. Luke 12:32 makes it clear that it is God’s “good pleasure” to do so. We need to grow up in the timing and method that the Lord will use to bring more of Him into our earthly journey. He knows how He will do it. He’s just not telling. 3) We need to “exercise” this year. Yes, many of us (including me, need to hit the gym a little more often. But we also need to exercise in such a way as to grow our spiritual muscles. That will involve Bible time, Prayer time, Fellowship time, Serving time, and more. But the first major hurdle we need to overcome is for us to…make the decision to trust God no matter what we see. We need to decide not to lean on our own understanding. In 2022, we need to commit to trusting God!
