The David Spoon Experience Part 2 12-27-21

Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience. This 60-minutes is all about: 1) When we have a passion, a mission, a movement from God within ourselves, we need to seek the Lord for definition. We certainly don’t need to know every detail, as the Lord will rarely show us the “everything” upfront. That’s what faith is about. But a project from God will have certain boundaries and borders for us to get a hope-handle on. If not, how can we share it with others? 2) It is amazing how many people will help us if…we ask. But the reason we don’t ask is that we don’t want to burden others. Or we have too much pride to ask. Or we hate the idea of being rejected. Or any other series of excuses that come to mind. Excuses, excuses, you hear them every day. Well, the devil will provide them if, from God’s work, you’ll stay away. So, ask. 3) Right here in Nehemiah, we get the wisdom of the beginning of a project, especially when we involve others. Nehemiah asks the king for a certain amount of protection and safety. Of course, the king can’t cover every nook and cranny. Only God can do that. But for some basics, it doesn’t hurt to think “safety first,” specifically for the others around us.
