The David Spoon Experience Part 2 12-08-21

Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience. This 60-minutes is all about: 1) We may be afraid of things but often don’t talk about them. To some degree, there is wisdom in not giving wings and wind to dreadful things. But other things sit deeper inside us that only the Lord knows about. When those things pop up and arise in our lives, we tend to react with less faith and more terror. He’s the key. That’s not the plan from God. 2) Fear has to do with punishment. God doesn’t want us to operate in fear connecting to any form of torment. The reason is simple; biblical love does not become mature when everything we do is because we are afraid. That is the calling card of abusive relationships. Believers are NOT supposed to be walking with God as if they are walking on eggshells. That is not the design of God, but Satan. 3) God never gave us a spirit of fear. Unfortunately, too many Christians operate in fear daily. Since God didn’t give us believers the spirit of fear, and some believers seem to operate in that spirit, where does it come from? Well, we know that Satan is at the core. BUT it sure would be nice if some of us Bible-believing born-again Christians didn’t make the decisions to walk …in agreement with the enemy.
