The David Spoon Experience Part 2 12-07-21
Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 30-minutes is all about:
A) To the FIRST Book of the New Testament. This Gospel was written for the Jewish people. To the Jew first, and then…
B) Stay salty, my friends. You have to have a little flavor sprinkled with Jesus.
C) To not remain faithful is to give up on the faith. Bad call.
D) YOU are the light. A CITY on a hill, not a country (Sorry, Ronny).
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) Last week, we talked about having a pair of glasses that help us understand how God “sees” stuff. Today, we will talk about how everyone has some form of a pair of glasses they view through. The danger in not having God’s glasses is that when we see things in our framework, we tend to add a little bit of flesh to our custom pair of spectacles.
2) Prayer is the heartbeat of Christianity. But not everyone’s heartbeats in the same rhythmic cadence. The wisdom from this natural testimony is that prayer doesn’t have to run the same way for each person. In fact, it rarely does. Everyone’s style is a little bit different. It was designed that way. And prayer, from difficult church teaching, has added too many rules.
3) We know that an enemy attempts to move us out of the way. If you are unfamiliar with this principle, you have already been moved out of the way. One of the most common warfare posturings is his desire to have you and me be overwhelmed by fear. It’s not new. He’s been doing it for thousands of years because it works. But we have something greater inside of us. We have…the Lord!
