The David Spoon Experience Part 2 12-06-21
Funday Monday: Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) Nehemiah, picking up the mantle from Ezra (who is still in the picture), first acknowledges how much God loves him. But, he doesn’t stop with that observation. He also declares his own love for God, too God. And obedience demonstrates that inside love.

2) But let’s not be those Christians who talked to God with whispers only. There are times for whispers. Many times, in fact. There are times for silence. Many times. But there are also times for shouting, “Hey up there. We need some action. We need some response to our troubles, even our self-inflicted follies. Could You please help us? Listen to me, God!” The greatest people of God throughout the Bible also know when to shout a little bit.

3) And again, just like Ezra, Nehemiah demonstrates that when we petition, we can take upon ourselves the sin ourselves, our family (see Job), our friends, our churches, our communities, our cities, our state, our country, and our world. Wow. I guess if we don’t have a lot to pray about daily, we are doing a poor job of paying attention. Okey-doke. Let’s get to standing in the gaps. Amen!
