The David Spoon Experience Part 2 11-19-21
A Challenging, but Fun Show: Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience.
This 60-minutes is all about:
1) So, there I am, reading an article online about the post-modernism society that we now find ourselves in. And low and behold, there is a picture of a group of activists (or, in this particular case, whinners) who are holding a sign that says, “love is love.” Wow. How insightful. It demonstrates that these people are wrong and don’t know what love is.
2) We double-dip, but a little different than George Costanza did on that Seinfeld episode. It’s a double dose of Pastor Ray and his unique and effective insights. The first helping of his wisdom has to do with being at the crossroads. Have you ever been there? I have. And I don’t feel like using cow livers to make the right decision. But then again, I don’t particularly appreciate going the wrong direction either.
3) We explore the deepest groans of people. When there is a loss of life, it is not easy for anyone. It wasn’t pleasant for Jesus when John the Baptist was executed. But he used a strategy that is effective today. It doesn’t have to be the physical death of someone that we were close to. It can be deep and hard pain. Jesus shows us the very best remedy.
