Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience. This 60-minutes is all about: 1) Jesus is the chief cornerstone. So, why is that important? The cornerstone is the rock by which everything lines up and everything is built according to the plans. That’s who Jesus is. The One who lines everything up and the One by whom all of our blueprints are designed. 2) But Dave, there are so many religions and so many different beliefs. Are you telling me that Jesus is the only way to Heaven? That is just too narrow. Great observation, because Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate, and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it (Matthew 7:13-14). 3) Bold, uneducated, and untrained. These are hardly positive descriptions for any person unless you are a Christian. Because these images melt away based on this one reality, these are not the same men as before through the power of the Holy Spirit. These were common fishermen. They WERE. But these men had been with Jesus. And because of that, what they were meant nothing, because of who they are now through Jesus Christ. Vessels of God’s power and grace.
