The David Spoon Experience 3-22-24 part 1

It’s a phenomenal Friday show. Our great friend, Sergio, calls in and asks a very profound question: Where did Moses get the courage to walk into the cloud where the presence of the Lord was?

David answers that question with three essential principles.

The first is that God loves us, loves us, and will always love us. The truth is, we can have the courage to go into the presence of the Lord because of the love that the Lord has for us. Of course, this is made possible through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ.

The second principle concerns the more we spend time in the presence of the Lord, the more we want to spend time in the presence of the Lord. That’s where we find our purpose for being. When creation spends time with the Creator, it finds life.

The third principle is that we need to continually understand that God wants us. We don’t think in those terms very often. People often say God loves us, but he doesn’t like us. God’s not going to spend eternity with somebody He doesn’t like. He likes us. He wants us. He made everything possible so we can spend eternity together.
