The David Spoon Experience 2-23-24 part 2
1) We’ll explore what it means to be a leader according to God and how to lead with the right spirit. We will approach this alongside the New Testament’s concept of servant leadership. We’ll examine four aspects of leadership defined in the Old Testament. Remember, whether you think you are or not, you, too, are a leader to someone.
2) Our next teaching involves the wisdom of being careful regarding whom we form alliances with. This doesn't mean that you can't engage with both saved and unsaved people. That is not the teaching. However, when you decide to form alliances, you need to ensure that there is approval from God. This is because an alliance is much deeper than mere connections; it involves dependence on one another. Confidence in an unfaithful person is akin to a broken tooth or a foot out of joint.
3) We concluded today's show with a review of what the wisest man on the planet did when he was at the peak of his wisdom. Everyone knows that Solomon started off great, but then faced tremendous difficulties later in his life. He failed the Lord. It's not as though he won't be in heaven, but the earlier part of his journey is what we aim to emulate. In this teaching, we'll review what Solomon did that pleased the Lord and challenge each other to do the same so we can please the Lord in everything we think, say, and do.
