The David Spoon Experience 2-21-24 part 2
A Top Show: 1) This is now one of my favorite messages. I have a top 10 list that I've shared over the last 40 years, and this ranks among those top 10. The insight the Lord granted me stemmed from the guidance of others, along with a blend of personal experiences. Here's my understanding: I know nothing, but in Jesus Christ, all wisdom and knowledge are encompassed. What could be more profound than growing in our faith and understanding of who holds authority?
2) I've had the blessing and opportunity to deliver this message in multiple churches. Let's grasp something crucial: being in the perfect will of God doesn't shield us from trials, issues, or struggles. However, it signifies that we are precisely where God intends us to be, with a purpose behind every challenge we face. So, regardless of the hurricanes or whirlwinds we encounter, they are no match for the One who guides us through these trials.
3) In this material, we'll uncover one of the most significant moments—between master and servant, disciple and rabbi, and the Lord God Almighty and humanity. Often, without being honest, we question God, asking, "Don't you care?" When things appear dire, emotions overwhelm, and control slips away, we feel like we're drowning. The pivotal question remains: "Don't you care?"
4) I'm still amazed because it makes me realize how closely connected I am to the disciples. When Jesus spoke to them, he simply asked, "Where is your faith?" You believed I am the Messiah, and you believed I could provide for and assist you. Now, facing a trial beyond your capacity, what happened to your faith? Has it endured, or has it vanished? Everything boils down to this simple process: Who is this we are dealing with? Who is this that has called us by name and directed our lives? When we answer that question, we discover the truth.
