And now for something completely different.
Speaker A:Here's what's coming up this hour on Today's Experience.
Speaker A:It's wild and wonderful.
Speaker A:What's gonna happen?
Speaker A:We have no idea.
Speaker A:Hey, let's sit back and enjoy the ride.
Speaker A:Can I get a Wowzer Bowser Wednesday because God is in charge of this crazy bus called the Christian Journey.
Speaker A:First, welcome to the Wednesday edition of the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Today's show will encourage us to be aware that we don't have any choice.
Speaker A:What I mean by that is that there's no option.
Speaker A:What I mean by that is there's no option to quit.
Speaker A:There's nowhere else to go.
Speaker A:There's nothing else we can do.
Speaker A:There's nowhere else to engage and get to eternal life.
Speaker A:Because everything revolves around Jesus and everything revolves around the plans that God has.
Speaker A:And you know what?
Speaker A:We're just blessed to be a part of it.
Speaker A:Next, we start off by examining Hebrews, chapter 12.
Speaker A:We'll start with verse one, which illustrates that we're on a course, a map, a journey.
Speaker A:The most marvelous thing about this journey is that God actually has it mapped out.
Speaker A:The most marvelous thing is that we don't know what the map is.
Speaker A:What we know is that God has plans for us and he has woven many events into our lives to help us reach the fulfillment of those plans.
Speaker A:And even when we blow it, he's worked part of that out, too, into his plan.
Speaker A:Finally, we focus deeply on one of the instructions that come from Jesus and on the example that he set.
Speaker A:We're not reinventing the wheel.
Speaker A:We're not tapping into the empowerment of something else.
Speaker A:We're tapping into the empowerment of Jesus Christ, who has given us the ability to prevail through some of the most polluted waters around.
Speaker A:The truth is that when we keep moving forward, whether it looks good or bad, we are blessed because we are moving forward with God.
Speaker A:And he never, ever fails us.

Speaker A:Personal revelations, spiritual observations.
Speaker A:My life's insanities and so much more.
Speaker A:Now, we tell you all the time it's not professional radio.
Speaker A:And just to verify it's not professional radio, we're going to talk to the big fish of professional radio, our very own Jam and Jacob.
Speaker A:Jam and Jacob is the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Professional radio.
Jam:No, it is not, David.
Speaker A:That is a good answer, big fish.
Speaker A:That is a good answer.
Speaker A:It is.
Speaker A:It's not professional, it's just radio.
Speaker A:What's professional?
Speaker A:What does that mean, professional radio?
Speaker A:I don't even know what that means.
Speaker A:One thing, we are not completely professional, that is for sure.
Speaker A:But what we are is really interested in drawing closer to the Lord with one another.
Speaker A:So we're asking you, what do you think?
Speaker A:Right, that's what we're doing.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Talking to Jab and Jacob.
Speaker A:That's like waking up and feeling like you got a great night's sleep.
Jam:Thank you, David.
Jam:Happy Wednesday.
Jam:I was going to make the noise of a fish, but I'm actually not sure what noise to make.
Speaker A:There's a couple of them.
Speaker A:You could do a Charlie Tuna, the.
Speaker A:The star kissed Charlie Tuna guy.
Speaker A:That's a good one.
Speaker A:But you know, because, you know, sorry, Charlie.
Speaker A:And then, you know, that kind of thing.
Speaker A:Or as a fish, you can just go like, splashing.
Jam:There you go.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:I guess that splashing.
Speaker A:See, we spared no expense on our sound effects.
Speaker A:I just want you to know that we're not even getting charged for that one because they wouldn't pay me for that.
Speaker A:I can guarantee you that.
Speaker A:Here's the bottom line.
Speaker A:The bottom line is, look, we want you to give us a text, we want you to give us a call, we want you to give us.
Speaker A:Send an email.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Could be for a praise report.
Speaker A:We love it.
Speaker A:Praise reports are awesome.
Speaker A:It could be for prayer requests.
Speaker A:Let's pray.
Speaker A:Let's ask God.
Speaker A:Why would you not ask God?
Speaker A:You know, that's one of my favorite bumper sticker ideas is, you know, ask Jesus, he can help.
Speaker A:That's just such a great idea.
Speaker A:It could be for something you want to share, Scripture, something that's going on.
Speaker A:Maybe it's for Bible trivia.
Speaker A:Maybe you have the answer to this one.
Speaker A:And the Old Testament is a book called Hosea.
Speaker A:Hosea.
Speaker A:How many chapters are in that book?
Speaker A:How many chapters and when's the last time you read it?
Speaker A:Hosea in the Old Testament.
Speaker A:How many chapters in the Book of Hosea?
Speaker A:Your reference point, The Book of Hosea.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:If you think you know the answer.
Speaker A:See, that's a good reference point.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Book of Hosea in the minor prophets?
Speaker A:How many chapters out there?
Speaker A:You can reach out and tell us what you think.
Speaker A:In the meantime, we will jump into our DNA.
Speaker A:D stands for Draw closer to the Lord daily.
Speaker A:Daily.
Speaker A:I mean, just every day that you have that opportunity to spend time.
Speaker A:And here's the thing that I would say to you.
Speaker A:So one thing that I've done, I do a little bit experimenting so I can learn, so I can grow like everybody else.
Speaker A:And the idea here is that if I can do, and I've done it for more than this, but if I can do 25 years of spending time with the Lord Monday through Saturday, an hour a day, and I've done longer than that.
Speaker A:I just am confident that people can make a decision for the next month.
Speaker A:I'm going to spend every day with the Lord in prayer, in quiet prayer, distraction free prayer.
Speaker A:I'm going to spend time in his word, distraction free.
Speaker A:Not doing it with the TV on, the phone on and everything else, and just spending time between you and the Lord in the closet with the King, and you will find out if you do that consistently that your life becomes consistently better.
Speaker A:So why wouldn't you?
Speaker A:If you could take a pill and it would make your life better just by taking the pill every day, you would take it.
Speaker A:Okay, well, you have one.
Speaker A:It's called Gospel.
Speaker A:Take it.
Speaker A:Time with the Lord every day in prayer and in his word.
Speaker A:D Draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker A:Never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never.
Speaker A:Never, never, never, never, never.
Speaker A:No matter what happens around you, he is the one that has a heaven to put you in, not the world.
Speaker A:That's n for never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker A:And then a always be ready.
Jam:To serve.
Speaker A:Ready to serve.
Speaker A:I'm ready.
Speaker A:Are you ready?
Speaker A:Okay, here comes the pitch.
Speaker A:As the catcher.
Speaker A:I'm ready, right?
Speaker A:That's what you want to be.
Speaker A:I'm ready.
Speaker A:I'm ready.
Speaker A:Let it rip.
Speaker A:Let's go.
Speaker A:Ready for the Lord.
Speaker A:When is he going to come a knocking or a calling?
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:That's why we got to be ready.
Speaker A:Always ready.
Speaker A:D Draw closer to the Lord daily and never be ashamed of Jesus or his words.
Speaker A:A always be ready to serve.
Speaker A:Somebody is on the line, though, and I think they want to answer the trivia question.
Speaker A:Let's send them on through.
Speaker A:Knock, knock.
Speaker A:This is David.
Speaker A:Who am I talking to?
Curtis:Hello, David.
Curtis:This is Curtis, my brother.
Speaker A:Hello, Curtis.
Speaker A:How are you, my brother?
Curtis:Man, I'm doing great.
Curtis:My friend out driving around in traffic and trying to take it very easy.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker A:Today would be a good day to take it a little easier, right?
Speaker A:I mean, it was.
Speaker A:It was incredible.
Speaker A:I'm driving into the studio and this guy in.
Speaker A:So there's three lanes on the 35 as I'm heading.
Speaker A:As I'm heading west.
Speaker A:And this guy just goes from the far right all the way to the left in front of a truck and three other cars didn't stop for anybody.
Speaker A:I mean, everybody is just like, super, like, what just happened?
Speaker A:You gotta be aware.
Speaker A:It's like being ready for the Lord.
Speaker A:You gotta be ready in traffic because you don't know what people do.
Curtis:It seems like the most unskilled drivers, for lack of a better word, come out when it's raining.
Speaker A:That is a great line.
Speaker A:That is so true.
Speaker A:It's like, hey, look who's emerged.
Speaker A:Those that driveth in the reigneth not welleth.
Speaker A:I mean, it's like, wow.
Speaker A:It's like, unbelievable.
Speaker A:You be careful, brother.
Speaker A:You be careful.
Speaker A:That's my definite encouragement to you.
Speaker A:All right, let me hit you up on.
Speaker A:Let me hit up on this trivia question.
Speaker A:So, Hosea, it's a book in the Old Testament.
Speaker A:Not a lot of people read it, although they should.
Speaker A:How many chapters are in this book, David?
Curtis:I believe it's 14 chapters.
Speaker A:You are correct, Amendo.
Speaker A:That is so right.
Speaker A:And it's good for people to know that.
Speaker A:And they're not long chapters.
Speaker A:It's not long.
Speaker A:It's not a long book.
Speaker A:Like Jeremiah but it's a great read and there's so many cool things in there.
Speaker A:And that's one of the things I want to get into.
Speaker A:Strictly into the minor prophets, because we don't get a lot into that quite yet.
Speaker A:But I am just really impressed that you got that and you nailed that down.
Speaker A:It was an excellent job.
Speaker A:And, you know, you knowing that, that's.
Speaker A:You are a Bible guy if you know that.
Speaker A:That's it right there.
Curtis:David, I had a quick.
Curtis:You talked about a bumper sticker a while ago.
Curtis:I got a great idea for one.
Curtis:And it would also make a really good T shirt.
Curtis:You need to have a bumper sticker across the top that says the David Spoon Experience.
Curtis:And then in great big letters underneath, tough.
Speaker A:I love it.
Speaker A:I love it.
Speaker A:I have a list of 125 bumper sticker slash T shirts.
Speaker A:I'm adding that to my list.
Curtis:Oh, man, I would get one in a heartbeat even if I had the David Spoon Experience logo like, over the left side of the chest and tough on the back in great big letters.
Speaker A:That'd be so awesome.
Speaker A:That's great.
Speaker A:Excellent job, bro.
Speaker A:Very, very good.
Speaker A:I love it.
Speaker A:Great job.
Curtis:Have a blessed day, my friend.
Speaker A:You, too.
Speaker A:Be safe.
Curtis:Okay, Bye.
Speaker A:Bye.
Speaker A:Bye.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:I love it.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:You guys are great.
Speaker A:You know, I love.
Speaker A:I love talking you.
Speaker A:I love hanging with you guys.
Speaker A:It's just fun, right?
Speaker A:That's part of the fellowship.
Speaker A:It's fun.
Speaker A:All right, listen to this text.
Speaker A:Now, I don't want you to get caught up in theology.
Speaker A:I just want you to listen to the text.
Speaker A:And when I say that, it doesn't mean I don't want you to be aware of theology.
Speaker A:Don't get the wrong impression.
Speaker A:There's just sometimes we can overdose in trying to do a structural, systematic theology.
Speaker A:Systematic theology is theology that has a system.
Speaker A:It's not complex.
Speaker A:But sometimes you get so caught up in that that the simpler parts of the truth lose their blinking, lose their neon light sign that we need to have.
Speaker A:Here's what it says in Hebrews 12:1, and I just want you to catch this.
Speaker A:Therefore.
Speaker A:Therefore is coming on the heels of chapter 11 in Hebrews, which, as you know, was the hall of fame of faith.
Speaker A:So talking about all these great people, all of their faith, all of that stuff, and connecting us to these people, and connecting us to walking in faith and pleasing God.
Speaker A:Hebrews 12:1 starts off by saying, therefore, bringing it all together, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, referring to what he just referred to in Hebrews 11.
Speaker A:Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Speaker A:Now, there's four things in here you can't miss.
Speaker A:Number one, throw off everything that hinders.
Speaker A:That not yet is talking about sin.
Speaker A:Sin's going to be in the next thing, but it's talking about the things that we do or allow in our lives that just detract from kingdom stuff.
Speaker A:And I'm not talking about things you need to do for work.
Speaker A:I'm talking about the empty things that we fill that have really no value and they don't really help us in the kingdom.
Speaker A:And they're much more negative in their impact.
Speaker A:And you are mature enough with the Lord to start to discern what some of those things are.
Speaker A:If you're involved in something, watching something, reading something, doing something that is just negative to the faith, don't do it.
Speaker A:Stop doing that.
Speaker A:If it doesn't give a positive to the faith, then why are you doing it?
Speaker A:It's just a bad idea.
Speaker A:Throw off everything that hinders.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And throw off means just like if you've got something.
Speaker A:Just like if you got a pile of garbage on your back.
Speaker A:You don't sit around and walk around with the garbage on your back.
Speaker A:You throw it off of you.
Speaker A:Get rid of that garbage.
Speaker A:That's ridiculous.
Speaker A:Who wants to be stinky?
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:That's number one.
Speaker A:Then he says, and the sin that so easily entangles people don't like to say it, but it's true.
Speaker A:Most people will at least acknowledge.
Speaker A:And this is in the King James called the besetting sin.
Speaker A:It's a sin that sets you aside.
Speaker A:It's the one thing or the one or two things you struggle with the most that nobody knows.
Speaker A:But God knows every nuance of people don't want to acknowledge it.
Speaker A:Which is kind of weird since Scripture acknowledges it and tells us these sins that easily entangle us.
Speaker A:They don't own you, they just act like they own you.
Speaker A:Yeah, you're thinking, what do you mean, they act like they owe me?
Speaker A:See, sin is kind of a living entity, and people don't recognize that.
Speaker A:And when you get caught up in something that you're struggling with, it's trying to convince you you can't live without it.
Speaker A:That's what it's trying to do.
Speaker A:In fact, for Cain, God said, referring to sin, it desires to have you.
Speaker A:In other words, sin has an appetite.
Speaker A:It's hungry and it's looking for A place to consume.
Speaker A:And when we give space to that, that's what it does.
Speaker A:And the scripture's not saying you're condemned to hell.
Speaker A:The scripture is saying, get rid of that.
Speaker A:And if you're like, I don't know how, I'm having a hard time.
Speaker A:That's great.
Speaker A:In fact, saying that is one of the best things in the world.
Speaker A:Because then you can come before the Lord and go, I'm having a hard time.
Speaker A:Help me.
Speaker A:You think he's gonna tell you?
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:I mean, come on.
Speaker A:He says, throw off everything that hinders and the sin so easily entangles and run with perseverance.
Speaker A:What does that mean?
Speaker A:Well, it certainly means, don't run with complaining.
Speaker A:I'm doing this walk, Lord, but I wish you'd hurry up.
Speaker A:By golly, you're slow.
Speaker A:Where is your watch?
Speaker A:It's like, stop doing that.
Speaker A:You run with perseverance.
Speaker A:You just keep running and running.
Speaker A:What, do you stop when you're told to.
Speaker A:That's when you're told to and all that.
Speaker A:Just to get to this point in the scripture.
Speaker A:The race marked out for us.
Speaker A:It's a generic term, but it has personal application.
Speaker A:This is where ADAP would really come into play.
Speaker A:Dynamic application principle.
Speaker A:Because your race is marked out for you.
Speaker A:Everybody has a race marked out for them.
Speaker A:Everybody's race course is a little different.
Speaker A:Have you noticed?
Speaker A:They're not the exact same.
Speaker A:Not for the apostles, not for any disciples, not for any followers of Jesus.
Speaker A:Everybody has their own course, but it's marked out.
Speaker A:Which means God already has the map.
Speaker A:Do you understand?
Speaker A:You don't have the map.
Speaker A:God has the map.
Speaker A:But here's a revelation.
Speaker A:He's not showing you the map.
Speaker A:Everybody says, I know what the map is.
Speaker A:No, you don't.
Speaker A:But it's marked out for you by the Lord, which means he knows every place you're going to pass.
Speaker A:Whether you're doing it with perseverance or whether you're doing it with extreme weakness.
Speaker A:Whether you're doing it with great confidence or great fear.
Speaker A:He knows every marker you're going to pass on your journey because he's got it marked out for us.
Speaker A:It should be noted that it's for us and not against us.
Speaker A:You're on a race, you're on a course, but you're on God's.
Speaker A:It does entitle you to take a deep breath, keep going, and have a great sense of trust, because he knows what you're going through.
Speaker A:He marked it out.
Speaker A:Of course he knows.
Speaker A:Get it?
Speaker A:Okay, take a Short break, then come back.

Speaker A:Father, we come before you and we ask you in the name of Jesus, with help from the Holy Spirit that you would touch in our audience those people who are physically hurting.
Speaker A:There are some where their pain is really intense on a regular basis.
Speaker A:It's just very, very draining.
Speaker A:And we ask that you would give them strength and you would renew them and you would empower them.
Speaker A:But most of all that you would heal them and you would touch their physical bodies.
Speaker A:And even if it can only be for a short period, by your determination, we ask that that would come for them and they would get that relief.

Speaker A:We're going to go into prayer.
Speaker A:One of our listeners, Jeanette, has a friend named Vicky G.
Speaker A:And she's an older lady and has been admitted to the hospital.
Speaker A:So we're just going to pray for the grace and the mercy of God to cover this situation.
Speaker A:So take a moment and have your faith.
Speaker A:Work with my faith and we'll bring our faith to the Lord for the Lord's grace in this situation.
Speaker A:Let's pray.
Speaker A:Father, we come before you right now and we lift up Vicki.
Speaker A:And Lord, she's older and she's struggling and she's been a nurse and she's been a blessing and a longtime caregiver.
Speaker A:And we're asking you, Lord God, to give grace and mercy into this situation.
Speaker A:Lord, we ask you to bless Vicki with your healing power.
Speaker A:We ask for the power of the Holy Spirit to touch her body and that, Lord, she could be made well.
Speaker A:We know that you heal.
Speaker A:We know that you do these marvelous things and we petition you and ask you to do that very thing that you would bless Vicki in this situation and that she would know it comes from your hand and would testify so.
Speaker A:And Lord, we also pray for people in our audience who are they're just hurting real bad and they just don't want to talk about it.
Speaker A:They don't want to be a burden.
Speaker A:We recognize that, Lord, people don't want to do that.
Speaker A:But we also have great confidence in you knowing everything and in your faithfulness for these very ones that call upon your name.
Speaker A:Have mercy, bring comfort, bring the power that is from heaven into earth into their bodies.
Speaker A:We ask for your grace, your mercy, and you would pour out your kindness.
Speaker A:We pray for these in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Amen and amen.
Speaker A:Okey doke.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:Thank you guys for praying with me on that one.
Speaker A:Let me get your next trivia question for those who are thinking.
Speaker A:What's the next trivia question?
Speaker A:Who was Moses wife in the beginning of it all?
Speaker A:Exodus 2:21 who was Moses wife?
Speaker A:Exodus chapter 2, verse 21.
Speaker A:That is the question who was Mo's wife in the beginning?
Speaker A:If you think you know the answer.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: That's: Speaker A:Or you can send an email.
Speaker A:David must increase.org who was Mo's wife?
Speaker A:Not the second wife.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:That was from Numbers 13, but the first wife.
Speaker A:So we're looking at Exodus chapter two.
Speaker A:And that would be verse 21.
Speaker A:What was her name?
Speaker A:If you think, you know, reach out to us.
Speaker A:That would be awesome.
Speaker A:In the meantime, I want to go back to the text, because some of the text is pretty cool.
Speaker A:So let's talk about it.
Speaker A:We just talked about God has this course for us, and it's the starting point for us to recognize.
Speaker A:Cool.
Speaker A:God has a course for us.
Speaker A:We have this course, and he makes this promise.
Speaker A:So I want you to catch this.
Speaker A:There's a course, right?
Speaker A:And there's this promise.
Speaker A:So what is the promise?
Speaker A:Hebrews 10, 35, 36.
Speaker A:Though do not throw away your confidence, it will be richly rewarded.
Speaker A:You need to persevere so that when you've done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
Speaker A:What the Lord is trying to do in all of our lives is give us an assist in us scoring the points.
Speaker A:Let me rephrase that in a maybe more scriptural way.
Speaker A:The Lord knows you and I need help.
Speaker A:And so he tells us, you know what?
Speaker A:Don't give up.
Speaker A:Don't throw away your confidence.
Speaker A:Don't be overwhelmed.
Speaker A:Don't sit down and pout.
Speaker A:Don't take your ball and go home.
Speaker A:You need to persevere.
Speaker A:You need to stand fast.
Speaker A:You need to be steadfast.
Speaker A:And you need to do that because after you've done that, in doing the will of God, the very thing God has promised you and is going to bless you with will come.
Speaker A:But if you sit there pouting, you're not persevering.
Speaker A:And that's the ticket.
Speaker A:When people sit there and they say, well, I've done the will of God and I'm waiting for the reward.
Speaker A:And then they start to teeter down and don't stay steadfast.
Speaker A:They're not holding on to perseverance.
Speaker A:But we need perseverance.
Speaker A:You can't do that which God has set before you.
Speaker A:And then he tells you, well, now you need to persevere because that which you've been promised is coming.
Speaker A:And then people say, well, I've done what you told me, but I'm starting to get kind of complaining and cranky about, I don't have it yet.
Speaker A:That's not persevering.
Speaker A:Persevering is standing fast.
Speaker A:It's being immovable.
Speaker A:There's a reason in Ephesians 6, 12, 18, where the phrase stand is used three times.
Speaker A:Stand, stand, stand.
Speaker A:There's a purpose for that.
Speaker A:And what God wants us to do is do that which is before us on this course that he set before us and stand fast.
Speaker A:Persevere.
Speaker A:Don't move.
Speaker A:Fully expectant of the goodness and the generosity and the grace of God, fully expectant.
Speaker A:That's what he wants from us.
Speaker A:I mean, just think about it.
Speaker A:Think.
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker A:Wait, what?
Speaker A:Because the reason that the Lord's trying to get us to persevere is because there's a promise.
Speaker A:And he's going to pour the promise upon us, but not if we're not persevering.
Speaker A:If you do it all and then throw it away, you're not getting anything.
Speaker A:You got to stand fast.
Speaker A:You got to be steadfast.
Speaker A:You gotta have.
Speaker A:I don't want to say this in a bad way.
Speaker A:I really don't, but you kind of gotta have a real stubborn attitude that says, you know what?
Speaker A:I am gonna stand here and believe God, no matter what, that we gotta have that.
Speaker A:And he wants us to have that.
Speaker A:In fact, in having that, that blesses him.
Speaker A:Because you're operating in a genuine faith, that perseverance is an expression of pure faith, saying, God is faithful.
Speaker A:I am not moving.
Speaker A:And that's what he wants from us.
Speaker A:He wants that faith inside you and I to produce that perseverance.
Speaker A:In fact, listen to this.
Speaker A:James 1, 3, 4.
Speaker A:Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kind, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
Speaker A:It's that absolute refining of the faith that gives you the ability to say, I am steadfast, committed to the kingdom of God and to continually doing that which is before me.
Speaker A:And I am not going to quit.
Speaker A:And I am going to receive the promise, and I do not care.
Speaker A:I am not giving up.
Speaker A:Boy, talk about being called not to give up.
Speaker A:That would be it right there.
Speaker A:Do not give up.
Speaker A:Do not.
Speaker A:Do not.
Speaker A:But the enemy wants us to.
Speaker A:The world wants us to.
Speaker A:The culture wants us to.
Speaker A:Yeah, well, a friend of the world is an enemy of God.
Speaker A:So don't be that.
Speaker A:Be a child of the Most high.
Speaker A:God, recognizing your citizenship is not here.
Speaker A:What does it say in Philippians?
Speaker A:What does it say in Ephesians?
Speaker A:That our citizenship is not here but in heaven?
Speaker A:And we're looking for a city whose builder and maker is God.
Speaker A:And we are not going to quit.
Speaker A:That's what God wants from us.
Speaker A:And it might be some one.
Speaker A:It could be the whole faith.
Speaker A:It could be a particular issue in your faith.
Speaker A:It doesn't matter.
Speaker A:You still have to have that same steadfastness standing firm in the Lord.
Speaker A:Yes, but this person's still not saved after 30 years.
Speaker A:Well, time for year 31 and for you to be praying.
Speaker A:That's what it is.
Speaker A:But I've been trying this for 50 years, Dave.
Speaker A:Time for 51st year to come into play.
Speaker A:That's what it is.
Speaker A:It's perseverance.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:All right, all right.
Speaker A:Now back to the trivia question.
Speaker A:Who was Moses wife?
Speaker A:We're talking about his first wife, obviously.
Speaker A:Exodus, chapter 2, verse 21.
Speaker A:And her name was Zipporah.
Speaker A:Zipporah.
Speaker A:She is Zipporah of the water.
Speaker A:Okay, well, maybe not.
Speaker A:All right, we'll take our break and then we'll come back.
Speaker A:You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on KAM 770, the true station here in Texas.
Speaker A:Short break, we'll be back.
Speaker A:Don't go anywhere.
Speaker A:The David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Philip shares the gospel.
Speaker A:In that gospel presentation is a proclamation about baptism.
Speaker A:No matter what anybody says.
Speaker A:That's just the reality of this text.
Speaker A:He gets baptized and the Holy Spirit catches Philip away.
Speaker A:And the eunuch never sees him again.
Speaker A:Does he go away miraculously?
Speaker A:You can't define it as an absolute, but it sure seems that way.
Speaker A:Doesn't matter because why the text says he never saw him again.
Speaker A:That's what the text says.
Speaker A:God will use people in your lives for a moment to make a change in your life.
Speaker A:And you will never see them or hear from them again.
Speaker A:That's what you got to recognize.
Speaker A:God will use you in people's lives for a one time encounter that will make that will accomplish that which the Lord desires to accomplish.
Speaker A:That will do.
Speaker A:Plant some form of seed that God has in mind and that's the intent.
Speaker A:And then you'll never see them again.
Speaker A:You think, wow, I don't know what the value of that was.
Speaker A:That's why divine appointments are divine appointments and not human evaluations.
Speaker A:Because God uses the most unique circumstances, even one time, one and done circumstances, to plant seeds in people's lives throughout their journey on the earth, to reach them and speak to them and to encourage them.
Speaker A:You getting that?
Speaker A:Sometimes God will bring somebody into your life and it's just prayer, a brief moment.
Speaker A:And that's the purpose and that's the intent.
Speaker A:You don't fully understand, nor do I, nor does any human being why the Lord has people cross paths the way he does.
Speaker A:But remember, he is God.
Speaker A:And so he knows what person needs to have what encounter, at what juncture in their life.
Speaker A:All of this is to say the Lord is the coordinator.
Speaker A:It wasn't Philip, it wasn't the eunuch, so to speak.
Speaker A:I mean, it was a strategic placement of a Christian in a position to reach a Secretary of the treasury in Ethiopia to have a salvation opportunity.
Speaker A:And nobody could ever predict that.
Speaker A:But God set the whole thing up and then he's done.
Speaker A:And he never.
Speaker A:It's so amazing because the scripture says he never saw Philip again.
Speaker A:That's it.
Speaker A:One and done.
Speaker A:See you, buddy.
Speaker A:God bless.
Speaker A:And it was all part of the plan of God.
Speaker A:Some people get saved in one church and then they end up going to another church shortly thereafter.
Speaker A:And that church is really instrumental in their growth, but not their decision.
Speaker A:Totally normal.
Speaker A:Nothing weird about that whatsoever.
Speaker A:You are normal.
Speaker A:It's normal because the Lord is in charge and he's not asking anybody's permission.
Speaker A:Welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Thank you for joining us here at KAM 7, the Truth Station here in Texas.
Speaker A:There's K double Amen 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.
Speaker A:Should be a very interesting trivia question.
Speaker A:How old was Moses when he died?
Speaker A:He did die.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:He was on the Mount of Transfiguration.
Speaker A:He did die.
Speaker A:Your reference point.
Speaker A:Deuteronomy 34:7.
Speaker A:Deuteronomy 34, verse 7.
Speaker A:How old was Mo when he died?
Speaker A:Deuteronomy chapter 34, verse 7 is your question.
Speaker A:If you think you know.
Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A: -: Speaker A:Or you can send an email.
Speaker A:David must increase.org Joanne and Cordelia got the pow pow on that one.
Speaker A:So I am going to send you up to the website.
Speaker A:On the website, I've told you many times, there's a lot of really cool stuff there.
Speaker A:And if you're like kind of down or just kind of struggling, there's a couple of audio clips and specific things in there that are really truly there that would bless you.
Speaker A:Additionally, there are five books that are available if you can't afford to buy them but you want them, all you gotta do is go to the website, fill out the form.
Speaker A:There's a prayer request form, an appraised report form.
Speaker A:Just fill out the form and say you want a book, give us your address and we'll buy the book for you.
Speaker A:And send it to you.
Speaker A:We have zero problem doing that because it's important.
Speaker A:It's important to do.
Speaker A:And so if you can do that.
Speaker A:They're not the best books, but they're encouraging.
Speaker A:And so the idea behind that, well, they're challenging too, and we would encourage you to do that.
Speaker A:There's, of course, there's a place to give, but there's so much other stuff on the website I do want you to check out.
Speaker A:Check it all out on the website entitled he must increase.org prayer request.
Speaker A:He must increase.org praise report looking to.
Jam:Give to this ministry.org confused by what's happening right now.
Speaker A:He must increase.org he must increase.
Speaker A:They're moving in herds.
Speaker A:They do move in herds.
Speaker A:They move in herds.
Speaker A:Yes, they do move in herds.
Speaker A:Okay, we have somebody ready to answer a trivia question.
Speaker A:Let's send them on through.
Speaker A:Knock, knock.
Speaker A:This is David.
Speaker A:Who am I talking to?
Gary:This is Gary.
Gary:How are you today, Gary?
Speaker A:How are you, bro?
Gary:Well, I've been out of pocket here and I'm back home and then my phone was out of order, so got that fixed and so I'm back.
Speaker A:What?
Gary:Back in order?
Speaker A:Great to hear your voice, Gary.
Speaker A:It is great to hear your voice.
Speaker A:Okay, I have a strong feeling you'll be able to get this ready.
Speaker A:I'm going to set it up for you.
Speaker A:How old was Moses when he died?
Gary:He was 125.
Speaker A:Yeah, there you go.
Speaker A:You got it.
Speaker A:My brother, 120 years old.
Speaker A:As soon as you said that, you went, wait, wait, 120.
Speaker A:I don't know why I said that.
Gary:I know he's.
Speaker A:That's a good one right there.
Speaker A:That's a good recovery right there.
Speaker A:Hey, let me pray over you for health.
Speaker A:Is that cool?
Gary:Okay, that's good.
Speaker A:Let's do it.
Speaker A:Let's pray.
Speaker A:Father, we come before you right now.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, for letting us hear from Gary.
Speaker A:I mean it, Lord, thank you.
Speaker A:It's a blessing for us to hear his voice.
Speaker A:We appreciate it.
Speaker A:We appreciate you letting him still fellowship with us and being connected to us.
Speaker A:And Lord, he needs healing power.
Speaker A:He needs your healing power, not ours.
Speaker A:But we don't have anything.
Speaker A:You have everything.
Speaker A:And we are asking you to pour your healing power into his body and give him strength and renewal and healing from top to bottom at every level that he would find redemption and restoration, renewal, revival and recreation in his very body by your power, by your anointing.
Speaker A:And we pray that in Jesus name, amen and amen.
Gary:Amen.
Gary:And I'll continue to pray for all of you.
Speaker A:Thank you, brother, and God bless you.
Gary:God bless you.
Gary:Thank you.
Speaker A:Bye bye.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:Excellent.
Speaker A:Great to hear from Gary.
Speaker A:Yay.
Speaker A:Love it.
Speaker A:Love it.
Speaker A:All right, we are going to do history.
Speaker A:Let's go live faith in the past.
Speaker A:Let's go live faith in the past.
Speaker A:All right, today is kind of a couple of interesting days.
Speaker A:First of all, today is National Play Outside Day, which doesn't really work for me in the context of it's raining, but it is technically National Play Outside Day.
Speaker A:That's fine.
Speaker A:Today is also, and I thought this was a classic, so you should be aware of this.
Speaker A:It is earmuff day.
Speaker A:Now, not everybody in our arena has worn earmuffs, but if you have been in the cold or you grew up in the east at all, you certainly know what earmuffs are.
Speaker A:Additionally, today, by the way, on the good side of things, is National Cookie Day.
Speaker A:Ha.
Speaker A:I mean, can you beat that?
Speaker A:National Cookie Day.
Speaker A:That's pretty good, right?
Jam:I have some cookies at home, so to celebrate the day, when I get home, I will eat some cookies.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:You know what?
Speaker A:That is the honorable thing to do.
Jam:Thank you.
Speaker A:Celebrate it with cookies.
Speaker A:That is.
Speaker A:It is National Cookie Day.
Speaker A:That is right.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:And then last, I will just say this, that I am not going to give the date or anything, but on this day, many moons ago, my very own son, Joshua Spoon, because his birthday is one day after mine was born.
Speaker A:So today is his birthday.
Speaker A:Happy birthday, son.
Speaker A:If you are listening to this, I will give you $1,000.
Speaker A:I know you are not listening.
Speaker A:All right, anyway, anyway.
Speaker A:Happy birthday, son.
Speaker A:Love you.
Speaker A:Love you.
Speaker A:Love you.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:We do have somebody that's on the line, so we're going to give them a chance to reach out to us and connect with us.
Speaker A:Let's go ahead and send them on through.
Speaker A:Knock, knock.
Speaker A:This is David.
Speaker A:Who am I talking to?
Rosalyn:Hi, David.
Rosalyn:This is Rosalyn.
Rosalyn:I'm here with my mom, Angelina.
Speaker A:Hi, Angelina.
Speaker A:Hi, Rosalyn.
Speaker A:How are the two of you?
Rosalyn:Hi.
Rosalyn:I'm getting better.
Speaker A:You're getting better.
Speaker A:I'm glad to hear your voice, Angelina.
Speaker A:What's happening?
Speaker A:Roslyn, I'm here.
Rosalyn:We're wanting to ask for prayer for my mom.
Rosalyn:She's, you know, has good times and then not so good.
Rosalyn:And the doctors aren't quite sure what's going on.
Rosalyn:And so she's kind of up and down a lot.
Speaker A:Okay.
Rosalyn:And so we just want in prayer for her.
Rosalyn:And then tomorrow and Friday, on a small thing at School, it's our performance again.
Rosalyn:And just prayer that I don't foul it up.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:All right, let's pray for both those things.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:All right.
Rosalyn:Mostly for Mom.
Speaker A:All right, let's do it.
Speaker A:Father, we come before you right now, and first of all, we thank you for Rosalyn and Robert, and we thank you for Angelina.
Speaker A:And, Lord, we are asking first for Angelina.
Speaker A:She's going up and down is never comfortable, Lord.
Speaker A:It's just a very uncomfortable, weird, you know, doing great one minute, and then the next hour, just.
Speaker A:Things are really tough.
Speaker A:So we're asking you to bring some stability and some consistency into what she's going through.
Speaker A:And, Lord, not consistency in a bad way.
Speaker A:We want the consistency in a good way.
Speaker A:So we're asking you to bring a physical touch into her body by the power of your spirit in order to enable her to have consistently good, consistently solid, strong days.
Speaker A:And let her have more good days and better days and even better days than she imagined.
Speaker A:And let her have great confidence that, Lord, you give way more than we ask.
Speaker A:You give exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or imagine.
Speaker A:And that's what we're asking you to do for Angelina, that you would bring that healing power into her above what she would even anticipate so that she could have that refreshing and that encouragement and that stability.
Speaker A:And we lift up Rosalind.
Speaker A:She's got her performance, and, Lord, she's going to do great.
Speaker A:I know, but that feeling inside of you of going, uh, oh, oh, Lord, take that fear or that little bit of anxiety and just squish it.
Speaker A:Just squish it out and let it just be replaced with peace, with a confidence, with a trust that in her performance, she's doing this in partnership with you and that you will help her and you will be with her, and it will be as great as can be.
Speaker A:And you will bless other people through it and bless her through the process.
Speaker A:And we lift up Robert, too, and we ask you to bless and encourage him.
Speaker A:Give him great favor in the things that he's handling and dealing with, and give him wisdom beyond his own wisdom, and bless that family and keep them safe in the palm of your hand, and we pray for them.
Speaker A:In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Speaker A:Amen and amen.
Rosalyn:Amen.
Rosalyn:Thank you, David.
Rosalyn:Happy belated birthday.
Rosalyn:And happy birthday to your son.
Speaker A:Thank you so much, Rosalind.
Speaker A:God bless you.
Speaker A:Appreciate it so much.
Rosalyn:God bless you, too.
Rosalyn:Bye now.
Speaker A:Bye.
Speaker A:Bye.
Speaker A:Bye.
Speaker A:Bye, Angelina.
Speaker A:Okay, very cool.
Speaker A:All right, so here we go.
Speaker A:So good.
Speaker A:So we Got to hear from Gary.
Speaker A:We got to hear from Rosalind.
Speaker A:It's kind of fun, right?
Speaker A:And we get to hear from Curtis, and you just love it, right?
Speaker A:It's just fun stuff to do.
Speaker A:All right, let me tag this one thing.
Speaker A:I'll do it for about three minutes, then we'll break, and then we'll come back.
Speaker A:So this one big thing that we're talking about is this perseverance.
Speaker A:And why this is important is because I have done this successfully, and I have done this unsuccessfully.
Speaker A:So I want you to recognize what I'm saying.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:So what I'm saying is there's times where I've done this, and it's worked really, like, solid, but then there's times where I've fallen off of my perseverance and.
Speaker A:And acted like I was persevering when in the back of my heart and mind, I was, like, complaining without using words.
Speaker A:Now, I'm sure I'm the only Christian ever in all of Christianity to tell the Lord, I'm standing fast and I'm believing in you.
Speaker A:And then as I turn around and walk away from my prayer time, I'm also mumbling, but would you hurry up, for crying out loud?
Speaker A:I mean, I'm sure I'm the only guy that's done that.
Speaker A:Here's what I'm trying to tell you.
Speaker A:There is this attitude that you and I need to have.
Speaker A:We need to capture.
Speaker A:It's like when Jesus was heading to Jerusalem.
Speaker A:It talks about him being steadfast, like he was locked in, almost like flint.
Speaker A:It's almost like there has to be a lock in procedure for you and I to be steadfast.
Speaker A:We have to almost.
Speaker A:And I want to say it's probably more accurate than I'm communicating.
Speaker A:We have to make a decision to say to ourselves, I'm not moving.
Speaker A:I'm just going to believe.
Speaker A:I'm tired of the bounce.
Speaker A:I'm just going to be steadfast, immovable.
Speaker A:I'm not going to move.
Speaker A:So when we talk about that.
Speaker A:We talked about James earlier.
Speaker A:Here's another passage.
Speaker A:James says, blessed, the one who perseveres under trial because having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life the Lord has promised to those who love him.
Speaker A:We know that if we genuinely persevere, we're going to be rewarded.
Speaker A:We don't know when that reward will be, but God has never been in a position to owe anybody anything, and you're not going to be the first.
Speaker A:So being steadfast and persevering in our faith is a key component.
Speaker A:It's a key.
Speaker A:And that's what God wants from us.
Speaker A:He wants that from you and I.
Speaker A:So when we come back, we're going to just make the most simplistic connection to how to encourage us to continually persevere.
Speaker A:The simplest teaching that can be when we come back.
Speaker A:Okay, take a short break, then we'll come back.
Speaker A:You're listening to the David Spoon Experience right here on KAM 770, the true station here in Texas.
Speaker A:Short break.
Speaker A:Don't go anywhere.
Contestant:It's incredible and it's never been done before.
Contestant:And you can be the first person in your neighborhood to win.
Speaker A:What is it?
Contestant:It's a contest.
Speaker A:How do I play?
Contestant:It's simple.
Contestant:And there's three ways to win.
Contestant:You can go to Facebook, type in David Spoon Media, and on any Facebook post, type in the word Jesus in the comment section.
Contestant:And it's free.
Contestant:You can also send an email to davidspoonmediamail.com and write the word Jesus in the subject line.
Contestant:Or you can go to YouTube and give a comment on any video.
Contestant:But you have to use the word Jesus.
Contestant:This is your chance to win, and it's free.
Contestant:What do I win?
Contestant:You can win 100 thank yous right on air.
Contestant:It's incredible.
Contestant:It's unbelievable.
Contestant:But it's only for a limited time.
Contestant:Enter.
Contestant:Now here's a taste.
Contestant:Thank you for listening to the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:What is the David Spoon Experience?
Speaker A:Then he says this.
Speaker A:Don't be afraid.
Speaker A:Why should you not be afraid?
Speaker A:Because what fear does is immobilizes a person, stops them from moving forward.
Speaker A:And it also eats away at faith.
Speaker A:Fear has this way.
Speaker A:It's kind of like if you think of faith as I'll do this now as chocolate ice cream that has peanut butter in it.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:That's faith.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:Fear is like somebody drilling a hole underneath and then taking a little spoon and then pulling some of that faith down a little, scoop by scoop by scoop by scoop.
Speaker A:And you don't want your faith reduced because God requires faith to us to engage with him in.
Speaker A:That's his requirement.
Speaker A:That's the vehicle by which he is chosen to engage with humanity.
Speaker A:You don't think God could have said, it's me you're going to believe or I'm going to turn you into a fish.
Speaker A:I mean, you don't think God could have done that, but he chose the vehicle of faith because that's what he wanted from those that would come to him, a confidence, an assurance in the goodness of God.
Speaker A:So Jesus, first thing he says, ignore it.
Speaker A:Don't be afraid of it.
Speaker A:And then he does this one radically crazy, nutsy cuckoo line, just believe.
Speaker A:And we use that in movies and in books and fairy tales and all that stuff.
Speaker A:We're not talking about any of that stuff.
Speaker A:This is believing.
Speaker A:Looking at a situation, just like Abraham did, just like we talked yesterday, how Abraham looked at the circumstance, didn't deny he was old, didn't deny he was past childbearing, and said, I'm just going to believe God anyway.
Speaker A:That attitude of just believe.
Speaker A:It's taking a stand in the framework of your faith that says, I'm not moving.
Speaker A:Here I am.
Speaker A:Call me bulldog.
Speaker A:I'm right here.
Speaker A:I'm not going nowhere.
Speaker A:My faith is solid.
Announcement:If Jesus.
Speaker A:Welcome back to the David Spoon Experience.
Speaker A:Thank you for joining us here at KAM 770, the Truth Station here in Texas.
Speaker A:It's k double amen.
Speaker A:770, the Truth Station here in Texas.
Speaker A:Let me say this.
Speaker A:That fill is exactly what I'm teaching that Phil, if you didn't catch that, talking about being a bulldog in your faith, saying, I'm not moving, I'm not going anywhere.
Speaker A:I'm staying steadfast.
Speaker A:That's what that Phil was.
Speaker A:That's what this whole teaching has been about.
Speaker A:That always indicates to me in personal ways that there are probably more than one, let's say one, but probably more than one, maybe more than 100, maybe more than 1,000 that really need to hear this.
Speaker A:Tenacity of faith, steadfastness of faith, persevering in faith.
Speaker A:There's a real reason the Lord wants us to be this way.
Speaker A:And just so you can know, Scripture is filled with admonitions for us to stay consistent and diligent in our faith.
Speaker A:Just be aware of that.
Speaker A:So even if you have faith, it's one of those things, you got to just stand firm.
Speaker A:Stand firm, immovable, not going anywhere.
Speaker A:That's a big key in this process.
Speaker A:Not going anywhere.
Speaker A:We'll talk about that in a split second as to how to go about that.
Speaker A:But before we do, I've got to do at least one of these two or these two jokes.
Speaker A:So let's get Jam and Jacob ready and see if he's ready.
Speaker A:You ready for this one?
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:First one's decent.
Speaker A:Second one's great.
Speaker A:That's my comment on it.
Speaker A:Here it is.
Speaker A:A retired boxer.
Speaker A:A retired boxer.
Speaker A:This is a person who's a professional athlete, goes to see his doctor because he's having trouble sleeping.
Speaker A:Have you tried Counting sheep?
Speaker A:The doctor asked.
Speaker A:I tried, the boxer explains.
Speaker A:But every time I get to the number nine, I stand up because he's a boxer.
Speaker A:What do you want from me?
Speaker A:I'm not a comedy writer.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:Here's the next one.
Speaker A:This is really good.
Speaker A:A patient and psychologist were meeting for the first time.
Speaker A:I think I'm a goat, the patient told the new doctor.
Speaker A:All right, the doctor says as he jots down notes.
Speaker A:And how long have you been having this feeling?
Speaker A:The man told him.
Speaker A:Ever since I was a kid.
Speaker A:Not bad, right?
Speaker A:That's not bad.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Ever since I was a kid.
Speaker A:All right, now, perseverance.
Speaker A:Let's talk about this.
Speaker A:I only have four minutes left.
Speaker A:Just listen, okay?
Speaker A:How do you get to that?
Speaker A:Perseverance.
Speaker A:Okay, cool.
Speaker A:It's just going to tell you exactly what the scripture tells us.
Speaker A:How do you maintain it?
Speaker A:How do you maintain perseverance?
Speaker A:Hebrews 12, 2, 3.
Speaker A:Fixing our eyes on Jesus.
Speaker A:Ding, ding, ding, ding.
Speaker A:The pioneer and perfecter of our faith.
Speaker A:For the joy set before him.
Speaker A:He endured the cross, scorning its shame.
Speaker A:It sat down on the right hand of the throne of God.
Speaker A:Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Speaker A:You know how you do it?
Speaker A:You consider Jesus.
Speaker A:That's how you do it.
Speaker A:You fix your eyes on Jesus, who, by the way, is the pioneer.
Speaker A:The pioneer is the one who blazes the trail.
Speaker A:He's the starter or the author, and the perfecter is the one who completes it or finishes it.
Speaker A:He's the pioneer and the perfecter of our faith.
Speaker A:For the joy set before him, endured the cross, scorning its shame, sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Speaker A:Consider him.
Speaker A:So we fix our eyes on Jesus, and we consider him.
Speaker A:When you start losing your ability of stability, you need to fix yourself.
Speaker A:You fix your vision on Jesus himself.
Speaker A:You need to replace what you're doing, which is looking at the circumstance, having the situation that you've analyzed from every possible angle in the universe, and stop doing that and focus on Jesus and make your eyes see Jesus and make your consideration Jesus and not your circumstance.
Speaker A:And that's how you put life into perseverance.
Speaker A:You put life into perseverance by fixing your vision on Jesus.
Speaker A:Because for everything that you go through, he's gone through worse.
Speaker A:And he has done it for our sake, and he is our inspiration.
Speaker A:And instead of thinking your circumstance is bigger than God, which it never, ever, ever has been, start remembering that your Savior is bigger than your circumstance.
Speaker A:Did you hear that?
Speaker A:Your savior, Jesus Christ is bigger than your circumstance or situation.
Speaker A:Your savior is bigger.
Speaker A:So we're told to fix our eyes on Jesus.
Speaker A:We're told to consider him.
Speaker A:We're actually told to insert Jesus into the process and thereby change the process and turn it on its head upside down.
Speaker A:Why watch this?
Speaker A:Cause I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Speaker A:What?
Speaker A:I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Speaker A:All things through Christ who strengthens me.
Speaker A:Fix our eyes on Jesus.
Speaker A:Consider him.
Speaker A:Get it?
Speaker A:Cool.
