The David Spoon Experience 1-5-23 part 2
1) It’s Friday, and that means it’s DDDDD Time. It’s beneficial for us to recall the teachings in the books of James and Peter, where we learn that God opposes the proud but bestows grace upon the humble. This means that while God resists the proud, He champions the cause of the humble. As we delve into the Old Testament, we see this principle in action. However, sometimes the Lord permits a degree of hardship to help us discern the difference between serving Him and serving man.
2) As we progress through the Old Testament, we examine a section in Nehemiah. Here, Nehemiah acknowledges the ongoing failures of God’s people. But this principle applies to us as well. When God grants us relief, deliverance, or freedom from a struggle, we relish the victory. However, the devil is never far behind, attempting to lead us into failing God again. The crucial thing to remember is that God’s compassion isn’t cheap. It comes at a great cost, but it is also never in short supply.
C) It's a plethora of prayers and praise reports as the callers' help direct the show under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If you're looking to be encouraged and to understand that God is active, you'll want to listen to this.
