The David Spoon Experience 1/4/22 Part 2
1) As we prepare for the New Year, we want to make sure to stand firm in Every Victory Acknowledged (EVA). Not legalistically, but we need to be (and should want to be) aware that we need to “UP” our praise ante. We have covered (on this show and in ten thousand churches and ministries) the need to have hope and confidence for our future. And we would stand firm in that truth and wisdom. So, in today’s sharing, we will put forth a practical strategy to help with this. 2) This credit for this strategy is always, and should always be, given to Jesus. Since He spoke the truth and He, Himself, is the truth, that’s where the credit starts. And we find that Jesus often uses people to help us see, seize, or submerge into the truth. So, in this case, while it has been a long-taught lesson from my own walk, Noelle gets the credit for how this teaching was formed. 3) The reality is that when she and I discussed some of our trials, she brought the truth that Jesus spoke to light, which clarified our pathway. I often fail at this, but I never stop trying. Each step is a classic piece of wisdom that tells us how to engage practically with the future.
