09-16-2026 PART 2: The Power Belongs to God, Not the Vessel

Section 1

The Gospel does not depend upon the perfection of the person delivering it because its power originates with God Himself. Dr. Dave emphasizes Romans 1:16, declaring that the Gospel is the power of God for salvation. Christians should certainly desire lives that increasingly reflect Jesus, but personal imperfections do not disqualify them from sharing His truth. God has used imperfect people throughout history, and Scripture even records Him using a donkey to speak when necessary. Believers are vessels who receive the extraordinary privilege of participating in what God is doing, but Jesus remains the One who saves. People fall, make mistakes, and sometimes fail miserably, yet God’s Word remains unchanged. Our responsibility is to faithfully proclaim His truth, continually get back up when we fall, and trust Him to accomplish what only He can do.

Section 2

A powerful praise report demonstrated exactly why believers should continue praying and celebrating God’s involvement in one another’s lives. ROSLYN called with Robert to report that her cousin Dolores had undergone surgery to remove an ovarian tumor, and the doctors initially believed the tumor was benign, pending pathology confirmation. The audience had been praying for Dolores, allowing everyone who participated to share in the joy of that encouraging report. ROSLYN then described another personal moment after praying for rain and asking God whether there would be a rainbow. Within minutes, she turned onto another street and saw one, only for it to disappear shortly afterward. These moments reinforce the value of bringing both enormous concerns and seemingly small desires before a God who hears His children.

Section 3

Fellowship became especially meaningful when Robert joined the conversation with thoughtful questions about Revelation 13 and its connection with earlier Scripture. He observed that the mark involving the forehead and hand resembles the language of Deuteronomy 6, suggesting a possible connection between what someone thinks and what someone does. Dr. Dave welcomed the observation while emphasizing that Revelation can contain multiple dimensions rather than requiring every image to fit one interpretation. The conversation reflected what the relocated studio is intended to encourage: believers sharing testimonies, asking sincere biblical questions, examining Scripture carefully, and helping one another draw closer to God. ROSLYN and Robert even completed the Chronological Bible they had won through the program after taking three years to carefully read it and were preparing to begin again. The goal is not to prove how much we know, but to let God use what we share to draw people closer to Him.
