09-08-2026 PART 1: When God Opens the Right Doors
Section 1
The death of Jesus produced consequences that reached far beyond what anyone standing near the cross could fully understand, reminding believers that God is always working on a much larger scale than they can see. Dr. Dave also emphasizes that Christians themselves are constantly being observed—by people nearby, by those watching from a distance, and even within the heavenly realm. Our attitudes, actions, and responses make us living billboards for the Lord. Even the delay between Christ’s death and resurrection illustrates another important truth: God’s timing is perfect. Sometimes He allows a delay to refine faith, increase anticipation, or ultimately produce greater praise when His answer finally arrives.
Section 2
God’s presence does not mean every circumstance will be easy, but it does mean His hand can be recognized throughout the journey. During a conversation about the move and new studio, Dr. Dave describes both difficult moments and unmistakable evidence of God’s grace. That conversation then turns toward a listener’s praise report involving new opportunities emerging from work he had already been faithfully doing. One connection led to becoming an entertainment correspondent, while another opened the possibility of using years of audio experience to help a Christian ministry develop its podcasts. These opportunities demonstrate how God can take abilities, relationships, and experiences accumulated over many years and suddenly connect them to new purposes.
Section 3
Celebrating what God does in someone else’s life is an important expression of Christian love and fellowship. Dr. Dave responds to the praise report by praying over these new opportunities, asking God to open the right doors and direct those gifts toward the specific purposes for which they were given. The conversation also reveals the importance of patient persistence, because opportunities sometimes emerge only after long seasons of waiting and uncertainty. When believers share their victories, others who have prayed alongside them get to participate in the joy of seeing those prayers answered. Testimonies strengthen the entire body of Christ, reminding everyone that God still opens doors, directs His people, and uses their gifts in ways that honor Him.
