Section 1

With Eliezer's mission clearly confirmed by the Lord, the focus turns toward completing what God had sent him to accomplish. Dr. Dave connects Eliezer's determination with Jesus' declaration that His nourishment was doing the Father's will and finishing His work. God's servants are not simply called to begin assignments enthusiastically but to remain faithful until those assignments are completed. When the Lord provides direction, confirmation, and opportunity, believers should move forward with determination rather than allowing unnecessary distractions to interrupt His purposes.

Section 2

Even good intentions can become obstacles when they interfere with God's direction. Rebekah's family understandably wanted additional time with her, yet Eliezer refused to delay because his responsibility remained unfinished. Dr. Dave emphasizes that Christians must sometimes stand firm when comfortable or reasonable alternatives conflict with what the Lord has called them to do. Faithfulness means keeping God's mission ahead of personal convenience, recognizing that ultimately every believer will stand before the Master and give an account for how faithfully that calling was fulfilled.

Section 3

Serving the Lord belongs to every Christian, regardless of age, experience, position, or public recognition. Dr. Dave points to Jesus as the supreme example, because He came not to be served but to serve and continues interceding for believers at the Father's right hand. Ministry may involve public teaching or seemingly unnoticed acts of service, but every member of Christ's body has a meaningful part. The goal is never personal recognition but faithful completion, serving wherever God directs and finishing strong until the Master declares the work complete.
