Returning to Revelation 11, Dr. Dave carefully explains that while believers may hold different eschatological viewpoints, the central goal is not winning prophetic arguments but drawing closer to the Lord and becoming stronger witnesses for Jesus Christ. The passage describes the seventh trumpet sounding after the resurrection and ascension of the two witnesses, followed by heaven proclaiming that the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of the Lord and of His Christ. Yet when God ministers intimately to individuals, He frequently speaks in the quiet, gentle whisper illustrated through Elijah’s encounter in 1 Kings 19. Dr. Dave emphasizes the importance of learning how to listen carefully before the Lord by quieting distractions and remaining spiritually attentive. The teaching also addresses worship, stressing that genuine worship should never be restrained by fear of public opinion or human dignity. The twenty-four elders falling on their faces before God becomes a biblical picture of wholehearted surrender, reverence, gratitude, and adoration without concern for appearances or reputation.

Toward the close, the proclamation that “the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord” becomes what Dr. Dave describes as God declaring, “My turn.” Human rebellion, corruption, and resistance eventually reach a point where God says enough and fully establishes His righteous reign forever. The elders immediately respond not with fear, but with thanksgiving, worship, and acknowledgment of God’s eternal faithfulness. Dr. Dave strongly emphasizes that believers are called to remain thankful in every circumstance because gratitude reflects trust that God is still working all things together for good.
